NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 Yahweh then said to Aaron: 'You, your sons and your ancestor's line with you wil be answerable foroffences against the sanctuary. You and your sons with you wil be answerable for the offences of yourpriesthood.	1 O Senhor disse a Aarão: "Tu, teus filhos e tua família contigo, levareis a responsabilidade dos pecados cometidos no santuário. Tu e teus filhos contigo, levareis a responsabilidade dos pecados cometidos em vosso sacerdócio.
2 You will admit your brothers of the branch of Levi, your ancestor's tribe, to join you and serve you,yourself and your sons, before the Tent of the Testimony.	2 Farás aproximarem-se do santuário contigo os teus irmãos, a tribo de Levi e a tribo de teu pai, para que se juntem a ti e te ajudem quando estiveres com teus filhos diante da tenda do testemunho.
3 They must be at your service and the service of the whole Tent. Provided they do not come near thesacred vessels or the altar, they wil be in no more danger of death than you.	3 Eles farão o serviço que te é devido e o serviço da tenda, mas não se aproximarão dos objetos sagrados, nem do altar, para que não morram, e vós juntamente com eles.
4 They must join you, they must take charge of the Tent of Meeting for the entire ministry of the Tent,and no unauthorised person will come near you.	4 Ser-te-ão, pois, associados, e terão a seu cuidado a tenda de reunião para fazer todo o seu serviço. Nenhum estrangeiro se aproximará de vós.
5 You will take charge of the sanctuary and charge of the altar, and retribution wil never again befallthe Israelites.	5 Fareis o serviço do santuário e do altar, para que não venha de novo a cólera ferir os israelitas.
6 Of the Israelites, I myself have chosen your brothers the Levites as a gift to you. As men dedicated,they will belong to Yahweh, to serve at the Tent of Meeting.	6 Fui eu que escolhi os levitas, vossos irmãos, entre os israelitas. Dados ao Senhor, vos são de novo entregues para fazerem o serviço da tenda de reunião.
7 You and your sons wil undertake the priestly duties in all that concerns the altar and all that liesbehind the curtain. You wil perform the liturgy, the duties of which I entrust to your priesthood. But anunauthorised person approaching wil incur death.'	7 Tu, porém, e teus filhos contigo, exercereis o vosso sacerdócio no altar e atrás do véu: este é o vosso serviço. O sacerdócio é um dom que eu vos faço; o estrangeiro que se aproximar será morto".
8 Yahweh said to Aaron: 'I myself have put you in charge of everything set aside for me. Everythingconsecrated by the Israelites I give to you and your sons as your portion by perpetual decree.	8 O Senhor disse a Aarão: "Dou-te o que se reserva de tudo o que é separado para mim, dentre todas as coisas consagradas dos israelitas: dou-o a ti e a teus filhos em virtude de uma lei perpétua, por causa da unção que recebeste.
9 Of the things especial y holy, of the food offered, this is what wil revert to you: every offering that theIsraelites give back to me, whether it be a cereal offering, a sacrifice for sin or a sacrifice of reparation, is a thingespecial y holy and will revert to you and your sons.	9 Eis o que receberás das coisas santíssimas que não são queimadas; todas as suas ofertas, oblações, sacrifícios pelo pecado, sacrifícios de reparação; todas essas coisas santíssimas serão para ti e teus filhos.
10 You wil eat the things especial y holy. Every male may eat them. You wil regard them as sacred.	10 Tu as comerás em lugar santíssimo. Todo varão poderá comer delas; e serão para ti coisas sagradas.
11 'To you wil revert also whatever is set aside from the offerings of the Israelites, whatever is held outwith the gesture of offering; this I give to you and your sons and daughters, by perpetual decree. Al members ofyour household may eat it unless they are unclean.	11 Eis ainda o que será teu: o que é tomado dentre os dons, dentre toda oferta agitada dos israelitas. Eu o dou a ti, a teus filhos e a tuas filhas em virtude de uma lei perpétua. Todo membro de tua família que estiver puro comerá dessas coisas.
12 All the best of the oil, al the best of the new wine and wheat, these first-fruits offered by them toYahweh I give to you.	12 Dou-te também as primícias que os israelitas oferecerem ao Senhor: o melhor de seu óleo, de seu vinho e de seu trigo.
13 All the first produce of the country brought by them to Yahweh wil revert to you. Al members of your household may eat it unless they are unclean.	13 Serão para ti as primícias dos produtos da terra que trouxerem ao Senhor. Todo membro de tua família que estiver puro poderá comer delas.
14 Everything in Israel put under the curse of destruction wil revert to you.	14 Tudo o que for votado ao interdito em Israel será teu.
15 Every first-born of al creatures brought to Yahweh, human or animal, wil revert to you, but you willhave to redeem the first-born of man; you wil also redeem the first-born of an unclean animal.	15 Será teu igualmente todo primogênito de toda criatura, homem ou animal, que os israelitas oferecerem ao Senhor; ordenarás, não obstante, que se resgate o primogênito do homem, assim como os primogênitos dos animais impuros.
16 You wil redeem it in the month in which it is born, valuing it at five shekels, at the sanctuary shekel,which is twenty gerah.	16 O seu resgate far-se-á logo que ele tiver um mês, segundo tua estimação, à razão de cinco siclos de prata {conforme o siclo do santuário, que vale vinte gueras}.
17 But you wil not redeem the first-born of cow, sheep and goat. They are holy: you wil sprinkle theirblood on the altar and burn the fat as food burnt to be a smel pleasing to Yahweh;	17 Mas não farás resgatar o primogênito da vaca, nem o da ovelha, nem o da cabra: estes são coisas sagradas. Derramarás o seu sangue sobre o altar e queimarás a sua gordura em sacrifício feito pelo fogo, de agradável odor ao Senhor.
18 the meat wil revert to you, as wil the forequarter that has been presented with the gesture ofoffering, and the right thigh.	18 Sua carne será para ti da mesma forma que o peito agitado e a perna direita.
19 Everything the Israelites set aside for Yahweh from the holy things, I give to you and your sons anddaughters, by perpetual decree. This is a covenant of salt for ever before Yahweh, for you and your descendantstoo.'	19 Tudo o que é tomado das coisas santas que os israelitas oferecem ao Senhor, dou-o a ti, a teus filhos e a tuas filhas em virtude de uma lei perpétua. Esta é uma aliança de sal, que vale perpetuamente diante do Senhor, para ti e para toda a tua posteridade contigo."
20 Yahweh said to Aaron: 'You will have no heritage in their country, you wil not have a portion likethem; I shal be your portion and your heritage among the Israelites.	20 O Senhor disse a Aarão: "Não possuirás nada na terra deles, e não terás parte alguma entre eles. Eu sou a tua parte e a tua herança no meio dos israelitas.
21 'Look, as heritage I give the Levites al the tithes col ected in Israel, in return for their services, forthe ministry they render in the Tent of Meeting.	21 Quanto aos levitas, dou-lhes como patrimônio todos os dízimos de Israel pelo serviço que prestam na tenda de reunião.
22 The Israelites wil no longer approach the Tent of Meeting, on pain of committing a deadly sin.	22 Os israelitas não se aproximarão mais da tenda de reunião, para que não caia sobre eles o peso de um pecado que lhes cause a morte.
23 Levi will discharge the duties of the Tent of Meeting, and the Levites wil bear the consequences oftheir own guilt. This is a perpetual decree binding all your descendants: the Levites wil have no heritage amongthe Israelites,	23 São os levitas que farão o trabalho na tenda de reunião e que levarão a responsabilidade de suas faltas: esta é uma lei perpétua para todos os vossos descendentes. Eles não terão herança no meio dos israelitas,
24 for the tithe which the Israelites set aside for Yahweh is the heritage I have given the Levites. This iswhy I have told them that they will have no heritage among the Israelites.'	24 porque lhes dou como herança os dízimos que os israelitas tomarem para o Senhor. Eis por que declaro que eles não possuirão herança alguma no meio dos israelitas."
25 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	25 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
26 'Speak to the Levites and say: "When from the Israelites you receive the tithe which I have given youfrom them as your heritage, you wil set a portion of this aside for Yahweh: a tithe of the tithe.	26 "Dirás aos levitas: quando receberdes dos israelitas o dízimo que vos dei de seus bens por vossa herança, tomareis dele uma oferta para o Senhor: o dízimo do dízimo.
27 It wil take the place of the portion set aside that is due from you, like the wheat from the threshing-floor and new wine from the press.	27 Esta reserva será como o trigo tomado da eira e como o vinho tomado do lagar.
28 Thus you too wil set a portion aside for Yahweh out of all the tithes you receive from the Israelites.You will give what you have set aside for Yahweh to the priest Aaron.	28 Desse modo, fareis também vós uma reserva devida ao Senhor de todos os dízimos que receberdes dos israelitas, e esta oferta reservada para o Senhor, vós a entregareis ao sacerdote Aarão.
29 Out of all the gifts you receive, you will set a portion aside for Yahweh. Out of al these things, youwil set aside the best, the sacred portion."	29 De todos os dons que receberdes, separareis uma parte para o Senhor: tomareis a porção consagrada do que houver de melhor em vossos dízimos.
30 'You wil say to them, "After you have set the best aside, the remainder wil take the place, in theLevites' case, of the produce of the threshing-floor and wine-press.	30 Dir-lhes-ás: quando tiverdes separado o melhor do dízimo, o resto será para os levitas como o produto da eira ou do lagar:
31 You may consume this anywhere, you and the members of your households; this is yourrecompense for serving in the Tent of Meeting,	31 podereis comê-lo com vossa família, porque é o vosso salário pelo serviço que prestais na tenda de reunião.
32 and you wil not incur sin by doing so, once you have set aside the best; you wil not be profaningthe things consecrated by the Israelites and wil not incur death." '	32 Não cometereis pecado algum por causa disso, e não profanareis as santas ofertas dos israelitas, quando tiverdes separado o melhor do dízimo, para que não morrais."
