1 Yahweh then said to Aaron: 'You, your sons and your ancestor's line with you wil be answerable foroffences against the sanctuary. You and your sons with you wil be answerable for the offences of yourpriesthood.	1 E il Signor e disse ad Aronne: Tu, e i tuoi figliuoli, e la casa del padre tuo con teporterete le iniquità commesse contro del santuario: e tu, e i tuoi figliuoli insiemepagherete il fio de' peccati, che riguardano il vostro sacerdozio:
2 You will admit your brothers of the branch of Levi, your ancestor's tribe, to join you and serve you,yourself and your sons, before the Tent of the Testimony.	2 Oltre a ciò prendi teco i tuoi fratelli della tribù di Levi, e la famiglia del padre tuo, edei ti assistano, e ti servano: ma tu, e i tuoi figliuoli servirete nel tabernacolo deltestimonio.
3 They must be at your service and the service of the whole Tent. Provided they do not come near thesacred vessels or the altar, they wil be in no more danger of death than you.	3 E i Leviti staranno attenti a' tuoi ordini, e a tutto quello che è da fare riguardo altabernacolo: con questo però, che non si accostino a' vasi del santuario, né all'altare,affinché ed essi non muoiano, e voi non siate sterminati con essi:
4 They must join you, they must take charge of the Tent of Meeting for the entire ministry of the Tent,and no unauthorised person will come near you.	4 Eglino saranno con te, e veglieranno a guardia del tabernacolo, e a tutto il servigio diesso. Nissuno di altra stirpe si mescolerà con voi.
5 You will take charge of the sanctuary and charge of the altar, and retribution wil never again befallthe Israelites.	5 Vegliate alla custodia del santuario, e al ministero dell'altare; affinché non iscoppi l'ira(mia) contro i figliuoli d'Israele.
6 Of the Israelites, I myself have chosen your brothers the Levites as a gift to you. As men dedicated,they will belong to Yahweh, to serve at the Tent of Meeting.	6 Io ho dati a voi i vostri fratelli Leviti separati dagli altri figliuoli d'Israele, e a voigli ho rimessi, come dono fatto al Signore, affinché servano negli uffici del suotabernacolo.
7 You and your sons wil undertake the priestly duties in all that concerns the altar and all that liesbehind the curtain. You wil perform the liturgy, the duties of which I entrust to your priesthood. But anunauthorised person approaching wil incur death.'	7 Tu poi, e i tuoi figliuoli custodite il vostro sacerdozio: e tutte le cose, che spettano alculto dell'altare, e quelle che sono di là dal velo, saranno sotto il governo de' sacerdoti.Se alcuno estraneo vi metterà la mano, sarà ucciso.
8 Yahweh said to Aaron: 'I myself have put you in charge of everything set aside for me. Everythingconsecrated by the Israelites I give to you and your sons as your portion by perpetual decree.	8 E il Signore disse ad Aronne: Ecco che io ho date a te in custodia le mie primizie. Tutte lecose, che sono offerte da' figliuoli d'Israele, le ho rimesse a te, e ai tuoi figliuoli perragion dell'ufficio sacerdotale: questa è legge perpetua.
9 Of the things especial y holy, of the food offered, this is what wil revert to you: every offering that theIsraelites give back to me, whether it be a cereal offering, a sacrifice for sin or a sacrifice of reparation, is a thingespecial y holy and will revert to you and your sons.	9 Ecco adunque quel che tu prenderai delle cose santificate, e offerte al Signore. Qualunqueobblazione, e sacrifizio, e qualunque cosa è data a me per lo peccato, e per il delitto,onde diviene santissima, sarà tua, e de' tuoi figliuoli.
10 You wil eat the things especial y holy. Every male may eat them. You wil regard them as sacred.	10 Tu la mangerai nel santuario: i maschi soli ne mangeranno, perché è cosa riserbata a te.
11 'To you wil revert also whatever is set aside from the offerings of the Israelites, whatever is held outwith the gesture of offering; this I give to you and your sons and daughters, by perpetual decree. Al members ofyour household may eat it unless they are unclean.	11 Quanto poi alle primizie votive, e offerte da' figliuoli d'Israele, io le ho date a te, e a'tuoi figliuoli, e alle tue figlie per diritto perpetuo: chiunque è mondo nella tua casa, nemangerà.
12 All the best of the oil, al the best of the new wine and wheat, these first-fruits offered by them toYahweh I give to you.	12 Il più squisito olio, e vino, e frumento, e tutte le primizie offerte al Signore, le ho datea te.
13 All the first produce of the country brought by them to Yahweh wil revert to you. Al members of your household may eat it unless they are unclean.	13 Tutti i primi frutti prodotti dalla terra, e portati (davanti) al Signore serviranno ad usotuo: chiunque in tua casa è mondo, ne mangerà.
14 Everything in Israel put under the curse of destruction wil revert to you.	14 Tutto quello che i figliuoli d'Israele offeriranno per voto, sarà tuo.
15 Every first-born of al creatures brought to Yahweh, human or animal, wil revert to you, but you willhave to redeem the first-born of man; you wil also redeem the first-born of an unclean animal.	15 Tutti i primogeniti di qualunque specie, che si offeriscono al Signore sia degli uomini, siadegli animali, saranno di tua ragione: con questo però, che in cambio del primogenitodell'uomo riceverai il riscatto, e farai che sia riscattato qualunque animale immondo:
16 You wil redeem it in the month in which it is born, valuing it at five shekels, at the sanctuary shekel,which is twenty gerah.	16 Il riscatto dell'uomo si farà dopo un mese con cinque sicli d'argento al peso del santuario.Il siclo ha venti oboli.
17 But you wil not redeem the first-born of cow, sheep and goat. They are holy: you wil sprinkle theirblood on the altar and burn the fat as food burnt to be a smel pleasing to Yahweh;	17 Non farai però riscattare i primogeniti della vacca, e della pecora, e della capra; perchésono consacrati al Signore: spargerai soltanto il loro sangue sopra l'altare, e brucerai ilgrasso in odor soavissimo al Signore.
18 the meat wil revert to you, as wil the forequarter that has been presented with the gesture ofoffering, and the right thigh.	18 Le carni poi serviranno ad uso tuo, come il petto consacrato, e la spalla destra saran cosetue.
19 Everything the Israelites set aside for Yahweh from the holy things, I give to you and your sons anddaughters, by perpetual decree. This is a covenant of salt for ever before Yahweh, for you and your descendantstoo.'	19 Tutte le primizie del santuario, le quali sono offerte da' figliuoli d'Israele al Signore,le ho date a te, e a' tuoi figliuoli, e figlie per diritto perpetuo. Questo è pattoinalterabile, e sempiterno dinanzi al Signore per te, e pe' tuoi figliuoli.
20 Yahweh said to Aaron: 'You will have no heritage in their country, you wil not have a portion likethem; I shal be your portion and your heritage among the Israelites.	20 E il Signore disse ad Aronne: Voi non possederete nulla nella terra de' vostri fratelli, enon avrete parte alla loro eredità: io tua porzione, ed eredità in mezzo a' figliuolid'Israele.
21 'Look, as heritage I give the Levites al the tithes col ected in Israel, in return for their services, forthe ministry they render in the Tent of Meeting.	21 A' figliuoli di Levi ho dato il diritto di tutte le decime d'Israele per ragione delministero, che esercitano per me nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
22 The Israelites wil no longer approach the Tent of Meeting, on pain of committing a deadly sin.	22 Affinché non si accostino più i figliuoli d'Israele al tabernacolo, e non commettano unfallo, che porti morte,
23 Levi will discharge the duties of the Tent of Meeting, and the Levites wil bear the consequences oftheir own guilt. This is a perpetual decree binding all your descendants: the Levites wil have no heritage amongthe Israelites,	23 Servendo a me i soli figliuoli di Levi nel tabernacolo, e portando essi i peccati delpopolo: questa sarà legge eterna per la vostra posterità. Eglino non possederanno altracosa,
24 for the tithe which the Israelites set aside for Yahweh is the heritage I have given the Levites. This iswhy I have told them that they will have no heritage among the Israelites.'	24 Contentandosi delle decime offerte, le quali io ho separate ad uso loro, e pelle loronecessità.
25 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	25 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
26 'Speak to the Levites and say: "When from the Israelites you receive the tithe which I have given youfrom them as your heritage, you wil set a portion of this aside for Yahweh: a tithe of the tithe.	26 Da' quest'ordine, e fa' questa intimazione a' Leviti: Quando voi avrete riscosso da'figliuoli d'Israele le decime, le quali io ho date a voi, ne offerirete le primizie alSignore, vale a dire la decima parte delle decime,
27 It wil take the place of the portion set aside that is due from you, like the wheat from the threshing-floor and new wine from the press.	27 Affinché questo sia contato a voi come un'offerta delle primizie tanto dell'aia, come dellostrettoio:
28 Thus you too wil set a portion aside for Yahweh out of all the tithes you receive from the Israelites.You will give what you have set aside for Yahweh to the priest Aaron.	28 E di tutto quello che vi è dato, offerite le primizie al Signore, e datele ad Aronnesacerdote.
29 Out of all the gifts you receive, you will set a portion aside for Yahweh. Out of al these things, youwil set aside the best, the sacred portion."	29 Tutto quello che offerirete delle decime, e quello che separarete per donarlo al Signore,sarà l'ottimo, e il più scelto.
30 'You wil say to them, "After you have set the best aside, the remainder wil take the place, in theLevites' case, of the produce of the threshing-floor and wine-press.	30 Dirai ancora a' Leviti: Se il più bello, e il meglio offerirete delle decime, avrete merito,come se deste le primizie dell'aia, e dello strettoio.
31 You may consume this anywhere, you and the members of your households; this is yourrecompense for serving in the Tent of Meeting,	31 Le decime saranno vostro sostentamento in qualunque luogo abitate e voi, e le vostrefamiglie: perché son desse la mercede del ministero, a cui servite nel tabernacolo deltestimonio.
32 and you wil not incur sin by doing so, once you have set aside the best; you wil not be profaningthe things consecrated by the Israelites and wil not incur death." '	32 E vi guarderete dal mancare in questo col serbare per voi il meglio, e il più scelto: noncontaminate le obblazioni de' figliuoli d'Israele per non essere puniti di morte.
