Hosea 3

NEW JERUSALEM	JERUSALEM
1 Yahweh said to me, 'Go again, love a woman who loves another man, an adulteress, and love her asYahweh loves the Israelites although they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.'	1 Yahvé me dit: "Va de nouveau, aime une femme qui en aime un autre et commet l'adultère, commeYahvé aime les enfants d'Israël, alors qu'ils se tournent vers d'autres dieux et qu'ils aiment les gâteaux de raisin."
2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver, a homer of barley and a skin of wine,	2 Je l'achetai donc pour quinze sicles d'argent et un muid et demi d'orge,
3 and I said to her, 'You wil have to spend a long time waiting for me without playing the whore andwithout giving yourself to any man, and I wil behave in the same way towards you.'	3 et je lui dis: "Pendant de longs jours tu me resteras là, sans te prostituer et sans appartenir à un homme,et j'agirai de même à ton égard."
4 For the Israelites wil have to spend a long time without king or leader, without sacrifice or sacred pil ar,without ephod or domestic images;	4 Car, pendant de longs jours les enfants d'Israël resteront sans roi et sans chef, sans sacrifice et sansstèle, sans éphod et sans téraphim.
5 but after that, the Israel- ites wil return and again seek Yahweh their God and David their king, and turntrembling to Yahweh for his bounty in the final days.	5 Ensuite les enfants d'Israël reviendront; ils chercheront Yahvé leur Dieu, et David leur roi; ilsaccourront en tremblant vers Yahvé et vers ses biens, dans la suite des jours.
