NEW JERUSALEM	Biblia Tysiąclecia
1 In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,	1 W roku jedenastym, miesiącu dwunastym, pierwszego dnia miesiąca, Pan skierował do mnie te słowa:
2 'Son of man, raise a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt. Say to him: "Young lion of nations, you aredestroyed! Once you were like a crocodile in the lagoons; emerging from your rivers, you churned up the waterwith your trampling and fouled their streams.	2 Synu człowieczy, podnieś lament nad faraonem, królem egipskim, i powiedz mu: Młody lwie wśród narodów, skończyłeś się, a byłeś jak krokodyl w morzu, prychałeś swymi nozdrzami, mąciłeś wodę swymi łapami i wzburzałeś jego fale.
3 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal throw my net over you in a great concourse of nations; and theywil trawl you up in my net. Then I shal leave you high and dry,	3 Tak mówi Pan Bóg: Rozciągnę moje sidła nad tobą w zgromadzeniu wielu narodów i wyciągnę cię moją siecią.
4 I shal throw you out into the wilds and make al the birds of heaven settle on you, and glut all thebeasts of the earth with you.	4 Rzucę cię na ląd i cisnę na powierzchnię pól, i sprawię, że na tobie zamieszkają wszystkie ptaki powietrzne, a każdy zwierz dziki tobą się nasyci.
5 I shal strew your flesh on your mountains and fil the val eys with your corruption;	5 Ciało twe rozrzucę po górach i wypełnię doliny twoją padliną.
6 I shal water the country with what flows from you, with your blood, on the mountainsides, and you wilfill the ravines.	6 Ziemię twego wylewu napoję twoją krwią aż do gór i napełnią się tobą wąwozy.
7 When I extinguish you I shal cover the skies and darken the stars. I shall cover the sun with cloudsand the moon wil not give its light.	7 Gdy gasnąć będziesz, zasłonię niebiosa i zaciemnię ich gwiazdy. Słońce zakryję chmurami, a księżyc nie da swego blasku.
8 I shal dim every luminary in heaven because of you and cover your country in darkness -declares theLord Yahweh.	8 Wszystkie ciała świecące na niebie ze względu na ciebie zaciemnię i wprowadzę ciemność na twoją ziemię - wyrocznia Pana Boga.
9 "I shall grieve the heart of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, incountries unknown to you.	9 Zaniepokoję serce wielu narodów, gdy twoich jeńców zaprowadzę pomiędzy narody, do krajów, których nie znasz.
10 I shal stun many peoples with shock at your fate; their kings wil tremble with horror at your fate,when I brandish my sword before their eyes. The day you fal , each wil tremble in terror for his life.	10 U wielu narodów wzbudzę grozę, a królowie ich przerażą się z twego powodu, gdy mieczem moim świsnę przed ich oczami, i będą nieustannie drżeć w obawie o życie swoje w dzień twojego upadku.
11 For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon wil overtake you.	11 Albowiem tak mówi Pan: Przyjdzie na ciebie miecz króla Babilonu.
12 I shal make your throngs of subjects fall at the swords of my warriors. They are the most barbarousof nations. They wil annihilate the pride of Egypt, and al its throngs will be destroyed.	12 Powalę mnóstwo twych poddanych mieczami bohaterów: oni wszyscy należą do najgroźniejszych ludów. Zniszczą dumę Egiptu i zginie całe jego mnóstwo.
13 I shal also destroy al its cattle beside the plentiful waters. No human foot wil churn them, no animalfoot wil churn them up again;	13 Wszystkie jego zwierzęta wygubię na brzegu wielkich wód i już nie zamąci ich stopa człowieka ani zamąci kopyto bydła.
14 then I shal let their waters settle and make their rivers glide like oil -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	14 Potem uspokoję ich wody i sprawię, że ich rzeki jak oliwa popłyną - wyrocznia Pana Boga.
15 "When I reduce Egypt to a ruin and the country is stripped of its contents, when I strike all those wholive there, they wil know that I am Yahweh.	15 Gdy kraj egipski obrócę w pustynię, a ziemia pozbawiona zostanie tego, co ją napełnia, gdy pobiję wszystkich mieszkańców, wtedy poznają, że Ja jestem Pan.
16 "Such is the lament which the daughters of the nations wil raise. They wil raise it over Egypt and allits throng. This is the lament they will raise -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	16 Oto lament, który podniosą córki narodów, zaśpiewają go nad Egiptem i nad całą jego ludnością - wyrocznia Pana Boga.
17 In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,	17 W roku dwunastym miesiącu pierwszym, piętnastego dnia miesiąca, Pan skierował do mnie te słowa:
18 'Son of man, lament over the throng of Egypt, for down she must go with the daughters of majesticnations to the depths of the underworld with those who sink into oblivion.	18 Synu człowieczy, biadaj nad ludnością Egiptu i każ jej zstąpić do świata podziemnego, jej i córkom potężnych ludów, do tych, którzy zstąpili do dołu.
19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Down with you, make your bed with the uncircumcised,	19 Kogóż przewyższyłaś zaletami? Zstąp i połóż się wśród nieobrzezanych.
20 with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. (The sword has been given, it has been drawn.)She and al her throngs have fallen.	20 Polegną wśród pobitych mieczem; miecz został wydany: bierzcie go i całą jego ludność.
21 From the depths of Sheol, the mightiest heroes, her al ies, wil say to her, "They have come down,they have lain down, uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword."	21 Wtedy powiedzą do niego mocarni bohaterowie ze środka Szeolu: razem ze swymi pomocnikami zstępują do dołu i będą leżeć wśród nieobrzezanych, razem z tymi, których miecz pobije.
22 'Assyria is there and al her hordes, with their graves al round her; all of them slaughtered, fal en bythe sword;	22 Tam jest Aszszur i wszystkie jego hufce, wokół jego grobu - to wszyscy pobici, polegli od miecza.
23 their graves have been made in the deepest part of the abyss, and her hordes, with their graves alround her; all of them slaughtered, kil ed by the sword, who once spread terror through the world of the living.	23 Ich groby położone są w najgłębszym dole, a jego hufce są wokół jego grobu - to wszyscy pobici polegli od miecza, ci, którzy szerzyli postrach w kraju żyjących.
24 'Elam is there and al her throng round her grave, al of them slaughtered, fallen by the sword; theyhave gone down uncircumcised to the depths of the underworld, who once spread terror throughout the world ofthe living. They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	24 Tam jest Elam i całe jego mnóstwo wokół jego grobu - to wszyscy pobici, polegli od miecza, którzy zstąpili nieobrzezani do świata podziemnego, oni, którzy postrach szerzyli w kraju żyjących, hańbę cierpią z tymi, którzy zstąpili do dołu.
25 Among the slaughtered, they have put a bed for her, among her throng with their tombs round her, alof them uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror throughout the world of the living.They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion. They have been put among the slaughtered.	25 Pośród pobitych zgotowano mu leże i całe jego mnóstwo jest wokół jego grobu. Wszyscy ci są nieobrzezani, pobici mieczem, albowiem strach przed nimi szerzył się w kraju żyjących, a teraz cierpią swą hańbę z tymi, którzy zstąpili do dołu; pośród pobitych zostali umieszczeni.
26 'Meshech, Tubal are there and al her throng, with their graves round her, al of them uncircumcised,slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror through the world of the living.	26 Tam jest Meszek, Tubal i całe ich mnóstwo wokół ich grobu, wszyscy nieobrzezani, mieczem pobici, albowiem postrach szerzyli w kraju żyjących.
27 They do not lie with the heroes who fell long ago, those who went down to Sheol ful y armed, whohad their swords laid under their heads and their shields put under their bones, since the heroes inspired theworld of the living with terror.	27 A leżą oni nie przy bohaterach, którzy padli w czasach pradawnych, którzy w pełnej zbroi bojowej zstąpili do Szeolu, którym podłożono ich miecze pod głowy, a ich tarcze na ich kości, gdyż byli postrachem dla bohaterów w kraju żyjących.
28 But you wil be broken with the uncircumcised and lie with those slaughtered by the sword.	28 A ty będziesz rzucony pośród nieobrzezanych i będziesz musiał leżeć wśród tych, co mieczem zostali pobici.
29 'Edom is there, her kings and al her princes who, despite their valour, have been laid with thoseslaughtered by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who sink into oblivion.	29 Tam jest Edom, jego królowie i wszyscy jego książęta, których pomimo ich bohaterskich czynów położono wśród tych, co mieczem zostali pobici, spoczywają oni przy nieobrzezanych, przy tych, którzy zstąpili do dołu.
30 'Al the princes of the north and al the Sidonians are there, who have gone down with theslaughtered, because of the terror which their power inspired. Ashamed, uncircumcised, they lie among thoseslaughtered by the sword and bear their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	30 Tam są wszyscy władcy Północy i wszyscy Sydończycy, którzy zstąpili wraz z pobitymi, okryci hańbą pomimo strachu, jaki szerzyły ich bohaterskie czyny; teraz leżą nieobrzezani przy tych, co mieczem zostali pobici, i cierpią swą hańbę z tymi, którzy zstąpili do dołu.
31 'Pharaoh wil see them and take comfort at the sight of al this throng slaughtered by the sword --Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	31 Zobaczy ich faraon i pocieszać się będzie całym swym mnóstwem. Faraon i całe jego wojsko polegnie od miecza - wyrocznia Pana Boga.
32 For having spread terror through the world of the living, he wil be laid with the uncircumcised, withthose slaughtered by the sword, Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.'	32 Ponieważ strach szerzył on w kraju żyjących, dlatego rzucą go, by leżał pośród nieobrzezanych, przy tych, co od miecza polegli: faraon i całe jego mnóstwo - wyrocznia Pana Boga.
