Ezekiel 32

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,	1 El año duodécimo, el día uno del duodécimo mes, la palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, raise a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt. Say to him: "Young lion of nations, you aredestroyed! Once you were like a crocodile in the lagoons; emerging from your rivers, you churned up the waterwith your trampling and fouled their streams.	2 Hijo de hombre, entona una elegía sobre Faraón, rey de Egipto. Le dirás: Leoncillo de las naciones, estás perdido. Eras como un cocodrilo en los mares, chapoteabas en tus ríos, enturbiabas el agua con tus patas, agitabas su corriente.
3 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal throw my net over you in a great concourse of nations; and theywil trawl you up in my net. Then I shal leave you high and dry,	3 Así dice el Señor Yahveh: Yo echaré sobre ti mi red entre una asamblea de pueblos numerosos, en mi red te sacarán.
4 I shal throw you out into the wilds and make al the birds of heaven settle on you, and glut all thebeasts of the earth with you.	4 Te dejaré abandonado por tierra, te tiraré sobre la haz del campo, haré que se posen sobre ti todos los pájaros del cielo, hartaré de ti a todas las bestias de la tierra.
5 I shal strew your flesh on your mountains and fil the val eys with your corruption;	5 Echaré tu carne por los montes, de tu carroña llenaré los valles.
6 I shal water the country with what flows from you, with your blood, on the mountainsides, and you wilfill the ravines.	6 Regaré el país con tus despojos, con tu sangre, sobre los montes, y los barrancos se llenarán de ti.
7 When I extinguish you I shal cover the skies and darken the stars. I shall cover the sun with cloudsand the moon wil not give its light.	7 Cuando te extingas, velaré los cielos y oscureceré las estrellas. Cubriré el sol de nubes y la luna no dará más su claridad.
8 I shal dim every luminary in heaven because of you and cover your country in darkness -declares theLord Yahweh.	8 Oscureceré por tu causa todos los astros que brillan en el cielo, y traeré tinieblas sobre tu país, oráculo del Señor Yahveh.
9 "I shall grieve the heart of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, incountries unknown to you.	9 Entristeceré el corazón de muchos pueblos cuando haga llegar la noticia de tu ruina entre las naciones, hasta países que no conoces.
10 I shal stun many peoples with shock at your fate; their kings wil tremble with horror at your fate,when I brandish my sword before their eyes. The day you fal , each wil tremble in terror for his life.	10 Dejaré pasmados por ti a muchos pueblos, y sus reyes se estremecerán de horror por tu causa, cuando yo blanda mi espada ante ellos. Temblarán sin tregua, cada uno por su vida, el día de tu caída.
11 For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon wil overtake you.	11 Porque así dice el Señor Yahveh: La espada del rey de Babilonia caerá sobre ti.
12 I shal make your throngs of subjects fall at the swords of my warriors. They are the most barbarousof nations. They wil annihilate the pride of Egypt, and al its throngs will be destroyed.	12 Abatiré la multitud de tus súbditos, por la espada de guerreros, todos ellos los más bárbaros de las naciones; arrasarán el orgullo de Egipto y toda su multitud será exterminada.
13 I shal also destroy al its cattle beside the plentiful waters. No human foot wil churn them, no animalfoot wil churn them up again;	13 Y haré perecer a todo tu ganado, junto a las aguas abundantes. No las enturbiará más pie de hombre, no volverá a enturbiarlas pezuña de animal.
14 then I shal let their waters settle and make their rivers glide like oil -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	14 Entonces yo amansaré sus aguas, haré correr sus ríos como aceite, oráculo del Señor Yahveh.
15 "When I reduce Egypt to a ruin and the country is stripped of its contents, when I strike all those wholive there, they wil know that I am Yahweh.	15 Cuando yo convierta a Egipto en desolación, y el país sea despojado de cuanto contiene, cuando hiera a todos los que lo habitan, sabrán que yo soy Yahveh.
16 "Such is the lament which the daughters of the nations wil raise. They wil raise it over Egypt and allits throng. This is the lament they will raise -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	16 Una elegía es ésta, que cantarán las hijas de las naciones. La cantarán sobre Egipto y sobre toda su multitud. Cantarán esta elegía, oráculo del Señor Yahveh.
17 In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,	17 El año duodécimo, el quince del primer mes, la palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:
18 'Son of man, lament over the throng of Egypt, for down she must go with the daughters of majesticnations to the depths of the underworld with those who sink into oblivion.	18 Hijo de hombre, haz una lamentación sobre la multitud de Egipto, hazle bajar, a él y a las hijas de las naciones, majestuosas, a los infiernos, con los que bajan a la fosa.
19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Down with you, make your bed with the uncircumcised,	19 ¿A quién superas en belleza? Baja, acuéstate con los incircuncisos.
20 with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. (The sword has been given, it has been drawn.)She and al her throngs have fallen.	20 En medio de las víctimas de la espada caen (la espada ha sido entregada, la han sacado) él y todas sus multitudes.
21 From the depths of Sheol, the mightiest heroes, her al ies, wil say to her, "They have come down,they have lain down, uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword."	21 Le hablan de en medio del seol los más esclarecidos héroes, con sus auxiliares: «Han bajado, yacen ya los incircuncisos, víctimas de la espada».
22 'Assyria is there and al her hordes, with their graves al round her; all of them slaughtered, fal en bythe sword;	22 Allí está Asur y toda su asamblea con sus sepulcros en torno a él, todos caídos, víctimas de la espada;
23 their graves have been made in the deepest part of the abyss, and her hordes, with their graves alround her; all of them slaughtered, kil ed by the sword, who once spread terror through the world of the living.	23 sus sepulcros han sido puestos en las profundidades de la fosa, y su asamblea está en torno a su sepulcro, todos caídos víctimas de la espada, los que sembraban el pánico en la tierra de los vivos.
24 'Elam is there and al her throng round her grave, al of them slaughtered, fallen by the sword; theyhave gone down uncircumcised to the depths of the underworld, who once spread terror throughout the world ofthe living. They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	24 Allí está Elam con toda su multitud en torno a su sepulcro; todos caídos víctimas de la espada, han bajado, incircuncisos, a los infiernos, ellos que sembraban el pánico en la tierra de los vivos. Soportan su ignominia con los que bajan a la fosa.
25 Among the slaughtered, they have put a bed for her, among her throng with their tombs round her, alof them uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror throughout the world of the living.They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion. They have been put among the slaughtered.	25 En medio de estas víctimas se le ha preparado un lecho, entre toda su multitud con sus sepulcros en torno a él; todos ellos incircuncisos, víctimas de la espada, por haber sembrado el pánico en la tierra de los vivos; soportan su ignominia con los que bajan a la fosa. Se les ha puesto en medio de estas víctimas.
26 'Meshech, Tubal are there and al her throng, with their graves round her, al of them uncircumcised,slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror through the world of the living.	26 Allí están Mesek, Túbal y toda su multitud con sus sepulcros en torno a él, todos incircuncisos, atravesados por la espada, por haber sembrado el pánico en la tierra de los vivos.
27 They do not lie with the heroes who fell long ago, those who went down to Sheol ful y armed, whohad their swords laid under their heads and their shields put under their bones, since the heroes inspired theworld of the living with terror.	27 No yacen con los héroes caídos de antaño, aquellos que bajaron al seol con sus armas de guerra, a los que se les ha puesto la espada bajo su cabeza y los escudos sobre sus huesos, porque el pánico de los héroes cundía en la tierra de los vivos.
28 But you wil be broken with the uncircumcised and lie with those slaughtered by the sword.	28 Pero tú serás quebrantado en medio de incircuncisos y yacerás con las víctimas de la espada.
29 'Edom is there, her kings and al her princes who, despite their valour, have been laid with thoseslaughtered by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who sink into oblivion.	29 Allí está Edom, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, que fueron puestos, a pesar de su prepotencia, entre las víctimas de la espada. Yacen entre incircuncisos, con los que bajan a la fosa.
30 'Al the princes of the north and al the Sidonians are there, who have gone down with theslaughtered, because of the terror which their power inspired. Ashamed, uncircumcised, they lie among thoseslaughtered by the sword and bear their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	30 Allí están todos los príncipes del norte, todos los sidonios, que bajaron con las víctimas, a pesar del pánico que sembraba su prepotencia. Confundidos, yacen, incircuncisos, entre las víctimas de la espada, y soportan su ignominia con los que bajan a la fosa.
31 'Pharaoh wil see them and take comfort at the sight of al this throng slaughtered by the sword --Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	31 Faraón los verá y se consolará a la vista de toda esa multitud, víctima de la espada, Faraón y todo su ejército, oráculo del Señor Yahveh.
32 For having spread terror through the world of the living, he wil be laid with the uncircumcised, withthose slaughtered by the sword, Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.'	32 Porque había sembrado el pánico en la tierra de los vivos, será tendido en medio de incircuncisos, con las víctimas de la espada: Faraón y toda su multitud, oráculo del Señor Yahveh.
