Ezekiel 32

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,	1 No décimo segundo ano, no primeiro dia do décimo segundo mês, foi-me a palavra do Senhor dirigida nestes termos,
2 'Son of man, raise a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt. Say to him: "Young lion of nations, you aredestroyed! Once you were like a crocodile in the lagoons; emerging from your rivers, you churned up the waterwith your trampling and fouled their streams.	2 filho do homem, entoa sobre o faraó, rei do Egito, a seguinte ode fúnebre: Jovem leão das nações, pereceste! Eras semelhante ao crocodilo no seio das águas; tu te lançavas nos rios, com tuas patas perturbavas a água, agitando a torrente.
3 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal throw my net over you in a great concourse of nations; and theywil trawl you up in my net. Then I shal leave you high and dry,	3 Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: estenderei sobre ti o o meu laço perante grande concurso de povo; serás tirado para fora, na rede.
4 I shal throw you out into the wilds and make al the birds of heaven settle on you, and glut all thebeasts of the earth with you.	4 Lá te deixarei sobre o solo; lançar-te-ei por terra, farei vir sobre ti todos os pássaros do céu, dar-te-ei por pasto a todos os animais da terra,
5 I shal strew your flesh on your mountains and fil the val eys with your corruption;	5 largarei teu cadáver sobre as montanhas, encherei os vales com os teus destroços.
6 I shal water the country with what flows from you, with your blood, on the mountainsides, and you wilfill the ravines.	6 Com o líquido que de ti correr, regarei as montanhas, teu sangue encherá as torrentes.
7 When I extinguish you I shal cover the skies and darken the stars. I shall cover the sun with cloudsand the moon wil not give its light.	7 Quando estiveres morto, velarei os céus, obscurecerei as estrelas, cobrirei o solo de nuvens, e a lua cessará de clarear.
8 I shal dim every luminary in heaven because of you and cover your country in darkness -declares theLord Yahweh.	8 Eu obumbrarei todos os astros do céu por tua causa; sobre a terra estenderei trevas - oráculo do Senhor Javé.
9 "I shall grieve the heart of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, incountries unknown to you.	9 Mergulharei na dor o coração de inúmeras gentes, enviando teus cativos entre as nações, a terras que não conheces;
10 I shal stun many peoples with shock at your fate; their kings wil tremble with horror at your fate,when I brandish my sword before their eyes. The day you fal , each wil tremble in terror for his life.	10 farei tremer por causa de ti numerosos povos, cujos reis serão enregelados de horror; quando eu brandir diante deles a minha espada, eles tremerão sem cessar, pela sua própria vida, no dia da tua queda.
11 For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon wil overtake you.	11 Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: a espada do rei de Babilônia virá sobre ti.
12 I shal make your throngs of subjects fall at the swords of my warriors. They are the most barbarousof nations. They wil annihilate the pride of Egypt, and al its throngs will be destroyed.	12 Farei tombar todo o teu povo sob o gládio dos guerreiros; os mais ferozes de todos os povos abaterão o orgulho do Egito. Sua população inteira será aniquilada.
13 I shal also destroy al its cattle beside the plentiful waters. No human foot wil churn them, no animalfoot wil churn them up again;	13 Exterminarei todo o seu gado às margens de seus grandes rios, cujas águas não mais serão perturbadas por nenhum pé de homem nem de animal.
14 then I shal let their waters settle and make their rivers glide like oil -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	14 Então deixarei repousar as suas águas, farei correr as águas como óleo, - oráculo do Senhor Javé.
15 "When I reduce Egypt to a ruin and the country is stripped of its contents, when I strike all those wholive there, they wil know that I am Yahweh.	15 Quando eu houver reduzido o Egito a um deserto, quando ele estiver despojado de tudo o que contém, quando eu tiver ferido seus habitantes, saber-se-á que sou eu o Senhor.
16 "Such is the lament which the daughters of the nations wil raise. They wil raise it over Egypt and allits throng. This is the lament they will raise -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	16 Tal é a ode fúnebre que cantarão as filhas das nações; elas a cantarão sobre o Egito e seus habitantes, - oráculo do Senhor Javé.
17 In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,	17 No décimo segundo ano, no décimo quinto dia do... mês, foi-me a palavra do Senhor dirigida nestes termos:
18 'Son of man, lament over the throng of Egypt, for down she must go with the daughters of majesticnations to the depths of the underworld with those who sink into oblivion.	18 filho do homem, entoa um cântico fúnebre sobre o povo do Egito: faze-os descer, ele e as filhas das nações, às moradas infernais, com aqueles que descem à fossa.
19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Down with you, make your bed with the uncircumcised,	19 Eles tombarão no meio dos que pereceram pela espada; toda a sua força desaparecerá.
20 with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. (The sword has been given, it has been drawn.)She and al her throngs have fallen.	20 A elite dos heróis com seus aliados dirão ao faraó, do seio da região dos mortos:
21 From the depths of Sheol, the mightiest heroes, her al ies, wil say to her, "They have come down,they have lain down, uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword."	21 não vales mais do que os outros. Desce; deita-te aos pés dos incircuncisos, dos que pereceram pela espada.
22 'Assyria is there and al her hordes, with their graves al round her; all of them slaughtered, fal en bythe sword;	22 É lá que se encontram Assur e todo o seu exército em torno do seu sepulcro, todos degolados, feridos pela espada;
23 their graves have been made in the deepest part of the abyss, and her hordes, with their graves alround her; all of them slaughtered, kil ed by the sword, who once spread terror through the world of the living.	23 foram postos seus túmulos no mais profundo da fossa; seu exército está ordenado em torno de seu sepulcro, todos degolados, feridos pela espada, eles, que haviam semeado o terror na terra dos vivos.
24 'Elam is there and al her throng round her grave, al of them slaughtered, fallen by the sword; theyhave gone down uncircumcised to the depths of the underworld, who once spread terror throughout the world ofthe living. They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	24 É lá que se encontram Elão e seu exército, em volta do seu sepulcro; todos degolados, feridos pela espada, lá desceram eles incircuncisos às moradas subterrâneas. Os que haviam semeado o terror sobre a terra dos vivos levam sua ignomínia com os que descem à fossa.
25 Among the slaughtered, they have put a bed for her, among her throng with their tombs round her, alof them uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror throughout the world of the living.They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion. They have been put among the slaughtered.	25 No meio desses mortos, foi-lhe dado seu lugar, com suas tropas que rodeiam o túmulo, todos incircuncisos, degolados, traspassados pela espada; os que haviam semeado o terror sobre a terra dos vivos levam sua ignomínia com os que desceram à fossa, e estão colocados entre os mortos.
26 'Meshech, Tubal are there and al her throng, with their graves round her, al of them uncircumcised,slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror through the world of the living.	26 É lá que se encontram Méchec, Tubal e suas tropas em torno dos seus sepulcros, todos incircuncisos, degolados pela espada. Eles, que haviam semeado o terror na terra dos vivos.
27 They do not lie with the heroes who fell long ago, those who went down to Sheol ful y armed, whohad their swords laid under their heads and their shields put under their bones, since the heroes inspired theworld of the living with terror.	27 eles não jazem entre os heróis que outrora tombaram, que desceram à morada dos mortos com suas armas de guerra, sobre cuja cabeça foi colocada sua espada e seu escudo sobre seus ossos, porque sua valentia era temida na terra dos vivos.
28 But you wil be broken with the uncircumcised and lie with those slaughtered by the sword.	28 Mas tu estarás deitado entre os incircuncisos, entre os que morreram a fio de espada.
29 'Edom is there, her kings and al her princes who, despite their valour, have been laid with thoseslaughtered by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who sink into oblivion.	29 É lá que se encontram Edom, seus reis e todos os seus príncipes, que foram postos, a despeito de sua valentia, com as vítimas da espada; ei-los jazendo com os incircuncisos, entre aqueles que desceram à fossa.
30 'Al the princes of the north and al the Sidonians are there, who have gone down with theslaughtered, because of the terror which their power inspired. Ashamed, uncircumcised, they lie among thoseslaughtered by the sword and bear their shame with those who sink into oblivion.	30 É lá que se encontram todos os príncipes do norte, assim como os sidônios que, apesar do terror inspirado pela sua valentia, lá desceram com os mortos. Eles jazem entre os incircuncisos, entre as vítimas da espada, e trazem sua ignomínia com aqueles que desceram à fossa.
31 'Pharaoh wil see them and take comfort at the sight of al this throng slaughtered by the sword --Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	31 Vendo-os todos, o faraó se consolará da sorte de seu povo; porque o faraó estará transpassado pela espada com todo o seu exército - oráculo do Senhor Javé.
32 For having spread terror through the world of the living, he wil be laid with the uncircumcised, withthose slaughtered by the sword, Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.'	32 A despeito do terror que ele tinha semeado sobre a terra dos vivos, ei-lo que jaz entre os incircuncisos, no meio dos que foram mortos pela espada, o faraó, com todo o seu exército, - oráculo do Senhor Javé.
