Leviticus 6

NEW JERUSALEM	JERUSALEM
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Yahvé parla à Moïse et dit:
2 'Give these orders to Aaron and his sons: "This is the ritual for the burnt offering (that is, the burntoffering that stays on the altar brazier al night until morning and is consumed by the altar fire).	2 Donne ces ordres à Aaron et à ses fils: Voici le rituel de l'holocauste. (C'est l'holocauste qui setrouve sur le brasier de l'autel toute la nuit jusqu'au matin et que le feu de l'autel consume.)
3 "The priest wil put on his linen tunic and put his linen drawers on to cover himself. He wil then removethe fatty ashes of the burnt offering consumed by the altar fire and put them at the side of the altar.	3 Le prêtre revêtira sa tunique de lin et d'un caleçon de lin couvrira son corps. Puis il enlèvera lacendre grasse de l'holocauste consumé par le feu sur l'autel et la déposera à côté de l'autel.
4 He wil then take off his clothes, put on others and carry the ashes to a clean place outside the camp.	4 Il retirera alors ses vêtements; il en revêtira d'autres et transportera cette cendre grasse en un lieupur hors du camp.
5 "The fire on the altar that consumes the burnt offering must not be allowed to go out. Every morning thepriest wil make it up with wood, arranging the burnt offering on it and burning the fat from the communionsacrifices.	5 Le feu qui sur l'autel consume l'holocauste ne s'éteindra pas. Chaque matin le prêtre l'alimenterade bois. Il y disposera l'holocauste et y fera fumer les graisses des sacrifices de communion.
6 The fire must always be burning on the altar; it must never go out.	6 Un feu perpétuel brûlera sur l'autel sans s'éteindre.
7 'This is the ritual for the cereal offering: "One of the descendants of Aaron wil bring it into Yahweh'spresence in front of the altar,	7 Voici le rituel de l'oblation: Après que l'un des fils d'Aaron l'aura apportée devant l'autel enprésence de Yahvé,
8 wil take a handful of the wheaten flour (with the oil and al the incense which have been added to it) andburn the memorial on the altar as a smel pleasing to Yahweh;	8 après qu'il en aura prélevé une poignée de fleur de farine (avec l'huile et tout l'encens qu'on y ajoint), après qu'il en aura fait fumer à l'autel le mémorial en parfum d'apaisement pour Yahvé,
9 and Aaron and his sons wil eat the remainder in the form of unleavened loaves. They will eat it insidethe holy place, in the court of the Tent of Meeting.	9 Aaron et ses fils mangeront le reste sous forme de pains sans levain. Ils le mangeront dans un lieupur sur le parvis de la Tente du Rendez-vous.
10 The portion I give them of the food burnt for me must not be baked with leaven; it is especial y holy,like the sacrifice for sin and the sacrifice of reparation.	10 On ne cuira pas avec du levain la part de mes mets que je leur donne. C'est une part très saintecomme le sacrifice pour le péché et le sacrifice de réparation.
11 Al male descendants of Aaron are entitled to eat this portion of the food burnt for Yahweh (this is aperpetual law for al your descendants) and anyone who touches it wil become holy." '	11 Tout mâle d'entre les fils d'Aaron pourra manger cette part des mets de Yahvé (c'est pour tousvos descendants une loi perpétuelle) et tout ce qui y touche se trouvera consacré.
12 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	12 Yahvé parla à Moïse et lui dit:
13 'This is the offering that Aaron and his sons must make to Yahweh on the day they are anointed: one-tenth of an ephah of wheaten flour as a perpetual cereal offering, half in the morning and half in the evening.	13 Voici l'offrande que feront à Yahvé Aaron et ses fils le jour de leur onction: un dixième demesure de fleur de farine à titre d'oblation perpétuelle, moitié le matin et moitié le soir.
14 It wil be prepared on the griddle and mixed with oil; you wil bring the paste as a cereal offering inseveral pieces, offering them as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	14 Elle sera préparée sur la plaque, à l'huile, comme un mélange; tu apporteras la pâte sous formed'oblation en plusieurs morceaux que tu offriras en parfum d'apaisement pour Yahvé.
15 When one of his sons is anointed priest to succeed him, he wil do the same. This is a perpetual law.'The entire cereal offering wil be burnt for Yahweh.	15 Le prêtre qui parmi ses fils recevra l'onction fera de même. C'est une loi perpétuelle. Pour Yahvécette oblation passera tout entière en fumée.
16 Every cereal offering made by a priest wil be a total sacrifice; none of it wil be eaten.'	16 Toute oblation faite par un prêtre doit être un sacrifice total, on n'en mangera pas.
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	17 Yahvé parla à Moïse et dit:
18 'Speak to Aaron and his sons and say: "This is the ritual for the sacrifice for sin: "The victim must beslaughtered before Yahweh on the spot where the burnt offerings are slaughtered. It is especially holy.	18 Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, dis-leur: Voici le rituel du sacrifice pour le péché. La victime en seraimmolée devant Yahvé, là où l'on immole l'holocauste. C'est une chose très sainte.
19 The priest who offers this sacrifice wil eat it. It wil be eaten inside the holy place, in the court of theTent of Meeting.	19 Le prêtre qui aura offert ce sacrifice la mangera. Elle sera mangée dans un lieu sacré sur le parvisde la Tente du Rendez-vous.
20 Everything touching the victim's meat wil become holy, and if any of the blood splashes on clothing,the stain will be washed off inside the holy place.	20 Tout ce qui en touchera la chair se trouvera consacré et, si du sang gicle sur les vêtements, latache sera nettoyée dans un lieu sacré.
21 The earthenware vessel in which the meat is cooked must be broken; if a bronze vessel has beenused for the cooking, it must be scrubbed and thoroughly rinsed with water.	21 Le vase d'argile où la viande aura cuit sera brisé et, si elle a cuit dans un vase de bronze, il serafrotté et rincé à grande eau.
22 Any male who is a priest may eat the sacrifice. It is especial y holy.	22 Tout mâle parmi les prêtres en pourra manger, c'est une chose très sainte;
23 But no one may eat any of the victims offered for sin, the blood of which has been taken into the Tentof Meeting to make expiation inside the sanctuary. These must be burnt." '	23 mais on ne mangera aucune des victimes offertes pour le péché, dont le sang aura été porté dansla Tente du Rendez-vous pour faire l'expiation dans le sanctuaire: elles seront livrées au feu.
