Leviticus 6

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
2 'Give these orders to Aaron and his sons: "This is the ritual for the burnt offering (that is, the burntoffering that stays on the altar brazier al night until morning and is consumed by the altar fire).	2 Transmite esta orden a Aarón y a sus hijos: Este es el ritual del holocausto que arde toda la noche sobre el altar, hasta la mañana siguiente, y por el cual el fuego del altar se mantiene encendido:
3 "The priest wil put on his linen tunic and put his linen drawers on to cover himself. He wil then removethe fatty ashes of the burnt offering consumed by the altar fire and put them at the side of the altar.	3 El sacerdote se vestirá con su túnica de lino y se cubrirá con pantalones de lino. Luego recogerá las cenizas a que habrá quedado reducido el holocausto por la acción del fuego, y las depositará a un costado del altar.
4 He wil then take off his clothes, put on others and carry the ashes to a clean place outside the camp.	4 Entones se cambiará las vestiduras y llevará las cenizas fuera del campamento, a un lugar puro.
5 "The fire on the altar that consumes the burnt offering must not be allowed to go out. Every morning thepriest wil make it up with wood, arranging the burnt offering on it and burning the fat from the communionsacrifices.	5 El fuego permanecerá siempre encendido sobre el altar y no deberá extinguirse. Todas las mañanas el sacerdote lo avivará con leña, dispondrá el holocausto sobre él, y hará arder las partes grasosas de los sacrificios de comunión.
6 The fire must always be burning on the altar; it must never go out.	6 Un fuego perpetuo, que nunca deberá extinguirse, permanecerá encendido sobre el altar.
7 'This is the ritual for the cereal offering: "One of the descendants of Aaron wil bring it into Yahweh'spresence in front of the altar,	7 Este es el ritual de la oblación, que los hijos de Aarón ofrecerán delante del Señor, frente al altar:
8 wil take a handful of the wheaten flour (with the oil and al the incense which have been added to it) andburn the memorial on the altar as a smel pleasing to Yahweh;	8 El sacerdote tomará de la oblación un puñado de harina de la mejor calidad, con su aceite y con todo el incienso añadido a ella, y lo hará arder sobre el altar como un memorial para el Señor, como una ofrenda de aroma agradable.
9 and Aaron and his sons wil eat the remainder in the form of unleavened loaves. They will eat it insidethe holy place, in the court of the Tent of Meeting.	9 Aarón y sus hijos comerán el resto. Lo comerán sin levadura, en el recinto sagrado, o sea, en el atrio de la Carpa del Encuentro.
10 The portion I give them of the food burnt for me must not be baked with leaven; it is especial y holy,like the sacrifice for sin and the sacrifice of reparation.	10 Ese resto no deberá ser cocido con levadura. Yo les doy esa parte de las ofrendas que se queman en mi honor: es una cosa santísima, lo mismo que la ofrenda por el pecado y la ofrenda de reparación.
11 Al male descendants of Aaron are entitled to eat this portion of the food burnt for Yahweh (this is aperpetual law for al your descendants) and anyone who touches it wil become holy." '	11 Podrán comerla todos los varones descendientes de Aarón, como un derecho que tendrán siempre a lo largo de las generaciones, sobre las ofrendas que se queman para el Señor. Todo lo que toque esas ofrendas quedará santificado.
12 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	12 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
13 'This is the offering that Aaron and his sons must make to Yahweh on the day they are anointed: one-tenth of an ephah of wheaten flour as a perpetual cereal offering, half in the morning and half in the evening.	13 Esta es la ofrenda que Aarón y sus hijos harán al Señor, el día en que aquel reciba la unción: Presentarán la décima parte de una medida de harina de la mejor calidad –la mitad por la mañana y la mitad por la tarde– como oblación perpetua.
14 It wil be prepared on the griddle and mixed with oil; you wil bring the paste as a cereal offering inseveral pieces, offering them as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	14 Deberá estar preparada con aceite, en una sartén; la presentarás bien embebida en aceite, la cortarás en pedazos y la ofrecerás como una oblación de aroma agradable al Señor.
15 When one of his sons is anointed priest to succeed him, he wil do the same. This is a perpetual law.'The entire cereal offering wil be burnt for Yahweh.	15 Así deberá prepararla también el sacerdote que sea consagrado por la unción entre los hijos de Aarón, para ser su sucesor: este es un decreto del Señor, válido para siempre. La oblación deberá arder enteramente,
16 Every cereal offering made by a priest wil be a total sacrifice; none of it wil be eaten.'	16 y toda oblación de un sacerdote será quemada en su totalidad: nadie la podrá comer.
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	17 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
18 'Speak to Aaron and his sons and say: "This is the ritual for the sacrifice for sin: "The victim must beslaughtered before Yahweh on the spot where the burnt offerings are slaughtered. It is especially holy.	18 Habla en estos términos a Aarón y a sus hijos: Este es el ritual del sacrificio por el pecado: La víctima del sacrificio por el pecado deberá será inmolada en el mismo lugar en que se inmola el holocausto, delante del Señor: es una cosa santísima.
19 The priest who offers this sacrifice wil eat it. It wil be eaten inside the holy place, in the court of theTent of Meeting.	19 El sacerdote que la ofrezca como sacrificio por el pecado, comerá de ella. Tendrá que ser comida en el recinto sagrado, o sea, en el atrio de la Carpa del Encuentro.
20 Everything touching the victim's meat wil become holy, and if any of the blood splashes on clothing,the stain will be washed off inside the holy place.	20 Todo cuanto toque la carne de la víctima quedará santificado; y si la sangre salpica alguna vestidura, tendrás que lavar en el recinto sagrado la parte salpicada.
21 The earthenware vessel in which the meat is cooked must be broken; if a bronze vessel has beenused for the cooking, it must be scrubbed and thoroughly rinsed with water.	21 La vasija de barro en que haya sido cocida se deberá romper; y si fue cocida en un recipiente de bronce, este será fregado y limpiado con agua.
22 Any male who is a priest may eat the sacrifice. It is especial y holy.	22 Sólo podrán comer de ella los varones de la familia sacerdotal: es una cosa santísima.
23 But no one may eat any of the victims offered for sin, the blood of which has been taken into the Tentof Meeting to make expiation inside the sanctuary. These must be burnt." '	23 En cambio, no se podrá comer ninguna víctima cuya sangre haya sido introducida en la Carpa del Encuentro para practicar el rito de expiación en el Santuario, sino que deberá ser consumida por el fuego.
