1 These are the last words of David: Thus speaks David son of Jesse, thus speaks the man raised toeminence, the anointed of the God of Jacob, the singer of the songs of Israel:	1 Ecco le ultime parole di David: « Disse David figlio d'Isai, disse l'uomo a cui fu parlato del Cristo del Dio di Giacobbe, l'egregio salmista d'Israele:

7 no one touches them except with a pitchfork or spear-shaft, and then only to burn them to nothing!	7 ma se uno vuol toccarle s'arma di ferro o d'asta di lancia: bruciate col fuoco saranno consumate fino alla distruzione ».

Banaia gli andò contro col bastone, e, strappata a forza la lancia di mano all'Egiziano, lo uccise colla sua stessa lancia.
22 Such were the exploits of Benaiah son of Jehoiada, winning him a name among the thirty champions.	22 Queste cose fece Banaia figlio di Ioiada.
