NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Jacob cal ed his sons and said, 'Gather round, so that I can tell you what is in store for you in the final days.	1 Poi Giacobbe chiamò i suoi figli e disse: "Radunatevi, affinché io vi annunzi ciò che avverrà nei giorni futuri.
2 Gather round, sons of Jacob, and listen; listen to Israel your father.	2 Adunatevi e ascoltate, o figli di Giacobbe, date ascolto a Israele, vostro padre!
3 Reuben, you are my first-born, my vigour, and the first-fruit of my manhood, foremost in pride,foremost in strength,	3 Ruben, primogenito mio sei tu, mio vigore e primizia della mia virilità, esuberante di fierezza ed esuberante di forza!
4 uncontrol ed as water: you wil not be foremost, for you climbed into your father's bed, and so defiledmy couch, to my sorrow.	4 Bollente come acqua, non avrai preminenza, perché salisti sul letto di tuo padre; allora tu profanasti il giaciglio della consorte.
5 Simeon and Levi are brothers in carrying out their malicious plans.	5 Simeone e Levi sono fratelli, strumenti di violenza sono i loro coltelli.

9 Judah is a lion's whelp; You stand over your prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, amighty lion: who dare rouse him?	9 Un giovane leone è Giuda: dalla preda, figlio mio, tu risali: si rannicchia, si accovaccia come un leone e come una leonessa; chi lo può disturbare?
10 The sceptre shall not pass from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until tribute bebrought him and the peoples render him obedience.	10 Non sarà tolto lo scettro da Giuda né il bastone di comando di tra i suoi piedi, finché sia portato il tributo a lui e sua sia l'obbedienza dei popoli.
11 He tethers his donkey to the vine, to its stock the foal of his she-donkey.
