1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Jahvè si rivolse a Mosè:
2 "Give Aaron and his sons the following command: This is the ritual for holocausts. The holocaust is to remain on the hearth of the altar all night until the next morning, and the fire is to be kept burning on the altar.	2 «Ordina ad Aronne e ai suoi figli: “Questa è la legge dell’olocausto, che sta sul braciere dell’altare per tutta la notte fino al mattino, mentre il fuoco dell’altare è mantenuto acceso.
3 The priest, clothed in his linen robe and wearing linen drawers on his body, shall take away the ashes to which the fire has reduced the holocaust on the altar, and lay them at the side of the altar.	3 Il sacerdote, indossata la sua lunga veste di lino e vestite le mutande di lino sopra la carne, toglierà la cenere in cui il fuoco avrà ridotto l’olocausto sopra l’altare e la metterà a lato dell’altare.
4 Then, having taken off these garments and put on other garments, he shall carry the ashes to a clean place outside the camp.	4 Indi si spoglierà le vesti e ne indosserà altre e trasporterà le ceneri fuori dell’accampamento in un luogo puro.
5 The fire on the altar is to be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest shall put firewood on it. On this he shall lay out the holocaust and burn the fat of the peace offerings.	5 Il fuoco che arde sopra l’altare non deve spegnersi mai e il sacerdote, ogni mattina, alimenterà il fuoco con legna; sopra di esso disporrà l’olocausto e vi farà salire in fumo il grasso dei sacrifici pacifici.
6 The fire is to be kept burning continuously on the altar; it must not go out.	6 Un fuoco continuo arderà sull’altare: non deve mai spegnersi.
7 "This is the ritual of the cereal offering. One of Aaron's sons shall first present it before the LORD, in front of the altar.	7 Questa è la legge dell’oblazione: i figli di Aronne la offriranno al cospetto di Jahvè innanzi all’altare.
8 Then he shall take from it a handful of its fine flour and oil, together with all the frankincense that is on it, and this he shall burn on the altar as its token offering, a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.	8 Il sacerdote preleverà da essa un pugno di fior di farina con olio e tutto l'incenso che è sull’oblazione e dell’oblazione farà salire in fumo la rievocazione: profumo soave per Jahvè.
9 The rest of it Aaron and his sons may eat; but it must be eaten in the form of unleavened cakes and in a sacred place: in the court of the meeting tent they shall eat it.	9 Aronne e i suoi figli mangeranno il resto senza fermento; mangeranno in luogo sacro, nel recinto della Tenda del convegno.
10 It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it to them as their portion from the oblations of the LORD; it is most sacred, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.	10 La parte che dai miei sacrifici di fuoco io ho assegnato a loro non sarà cotta con fermento: essa è cosa santissima come la vittima espiatoria e la vittima di riparazione;
11 All the male descendants of Aaron may partake of it as their rightful share in the oblations of the LORD perpetually throughout your generations. Whatever touches the oblations becomes sacred."	11 ogni maschio tra i figli di Aronne ne potrà mangiare; statuto perpetuo per le vostre generazioni, per quanto concerne i sacrifici di fuoco per Jahvè. Tutto ciò che toccherà queste cose sarà sacro”».
12 The LORD said to Moses,	12 Jahvè si rivolse a Mosè:
13 "This is the offering that Aaron and his sons shall present to the LORD (on the day he is anointed): one tenth of an ephah of fine flour for the established cereal offering, half in the morning and half in the evening.	13 «Questa è l’offerta che Aronne e i suoi figli offriranno a Jahve nel giorno della loro consacrazione: un decimo di efa di fior di farina, come oblazione perpetua, metà al mattino e metà alla sera.
14 It shall be well kneaded and fried in oil on a griddle when you bring it in. Having broken the offering into pieces, you shall present it as a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.	14 Essa sarà cotta con l’olio nella teglia; la porterai impastata e la offrirai come oblazione, in diversi pezzi: profumo soave per Jahvè.
15 Aaron's descendant who succeeds him as the anointed priest shall do likewise. This is a perpetual ordinance: for the Lord the whole offering shall be burned.	15 La offrirà anche il sacerdote che sarà unto tra i suoi fratelli: è uno Statuto perpetuo. Essa sarà fatta salire in fumo interamente per Jahvè.
16 Every cereal offering of a priest shall be a whole burnt offering; it may not be eaten."	16 Ogni oblazione sacerdotale sarà totale, non se ne potrà mangiare».
17 The LORD said to Moses,	17 Jahvè si rivolse a Mosè:
18 "Tell Aaron and his sons: This is the ritual for sin offerings. At the place where holocausts are slaughtered, there also, before the LORD, shall the sin offering be slaughtered. It is most sacred.	18 «Dì ad Aronne e ai suoi figli: “Questa è la legge del sacrificio espiatorio. La vittima del sacrificio espiatorio sarà immolata dove si immola la vittima dell’olocausto, davanti a Jahvè: essa è santissima.
19 The priest who presents the sin offering may partake of it; but it must be eaten in a sacred place, in the court of the meeting tent.	19 Ne mangerà il sacerdote che l’avrà offerta, nel luogo sacro, nel recinto della Tenda del convegno.
20 Whatever touches its flesh shall become sacred. If any of its blood is spilled on a garment, the stained part must be washed in a sacred place.	20 Tutto ciò che toccherà la sua carne sarà sacro e, se il sangue spruzza le vesti, quanto è stato spruzzato sarà lavato in luogo sacro;
21 A clay vessel in which it has been cooked shall thereafter be broken; if it is cooked in a bronze vessel, this shall be scoured afterward and rinsed with water.	21 il vaso di terra in cui fu bollita la carne sarà spezzato; se è bollita in un recipiente di bronzo questo sarà strofinato e risciacquato abbondantemente con acqua.
22 All the males of the priestly line may partake of the sin offering, since it is most sacred.	22 Ogni maschio tra i sacerdoti ne può mangiare: essa è santissima.
23 But no one may partake of any sin offering of which some blood has been brought into the meeting tent to make atonement in the sanctuary; such an offering must be burned up in the fire.	23 Ma ogni vittima espiatoria, il cui sangue fu portato nella Tenda del convegno per il rito espiatorio nel santuario, non si deve mangiare: sarà bruciata sul fuoco”».
