1 For the leader; of David. For remembrance.	1 Magistro chori. David. Ad commemorandum.
2 Graciously rescue me, God! Come quickly to help me, LORD!	2 Deus, in adiutorium meum intende; Domine, ad adiuvandum me festina.
3 Confound and put to shame those who seek my life. Turn back in disgrace those who desire my ruin.	3 Confundantur et revereantur, qui quaerunt animam meam. Avertantur retrorsum et erubescant, qui volunt mihi mala.
4 Let those who say "Aha!" turn back in their shame.	4 Convertantur propter confusionem suam, qui dicunt mihi: “ Euge, euge ”.
5 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. May those who long for your help always say, "God be glorified!"	5 Exsultent et laetentur in te omnes, qui quaerunt te; et dicant semper: “ Magnificetur Deus ”, qui diligunt salutare tuum.
6 Here I am, afflicted and poor. God, come quickly! You are my help and deliverer. LORD, do not delay!	6 Ego vero egenus et pauper sum; Deus, ad me festina. Adiutor meus et liberator meus es tu; Domine, ne moreris.
