1 For the leader; of David. For remembrance.	1 Salmo di Davide, da rammemorare; dato al capo de’ Musici O DIO, affrettati a liberarmi; O Signore, affrettati in mio aiuto.
2 Graciously rescue me, God! Come quickly to help me, LORD!	2 Quelli che cercano l’anima mia sien confusi e svergognati; Quelli che prendono piacere nel mio male voltin le spalle, E sieno svergognati.
3 Confound and put to shame those who seek my life. Turn back in disgrace those who desire my ruin.	3 Quelli che dicono: Eia, eia! Voltin le spalle, per ricompensa del vituperio che mi fanno.
4 Let those who say "Aha!" turn back in their shame.	4 Rallegrinsi, e gioiscano in te Tutti quelli che ti cercano; E quelli che amano la tua salute Dicano del continuo: Magnificato sia Iddio.
5 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. May those who long for your help always say, "God be glorified!"	5 Ora, quant’è a me, io son povero e bisognoso; O Dio, affrettati a venire a me; Tu sei il mio aiuto, ed il mio liberatore; O Signore, non tardare
6 Here I am, afflicted and poor. God, come quickly! You are my help and deliverer. LORD, do not delay!
