2 Fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." Their deeds are loathsome and corrupt; not one does what is right.	2 Quando gli Zifei andarono a dire a Saul: « Oh non s'è nascosto tra noi David? »
3 God looks down from heaven upon the human race, To see if even one is wise, if even one seeks God.	3 Salvami pel tuo nome, o Dio, rendimi giustizia colla tua potenza.
4 All have gone astray; all alike are perverse. Not one does what is right, not even one.	4 O Dio, esaudisci la mia preghiera, porgi l'orecchio alle parole della mia bocca.
5 Will these evildoers never learn? They devour my people as they devour bread; they do not call upon God.	5 Perché degli stranieri si son levati contro di me, dei violenti m'attentano la vita; gente che non tiene Dio davanti agli occhi.
6 They have good reason to fear, though now they do not fear. For God will certainly scatter the bones of the godless. They will surely be put to shame, for God has rejected them.	6 Ma ecco Dio m'aiuta, il Signore difende la mia vita.
7 Oh, that from Zion might come the deliverance of Israel, That Jacob may rejoice and Israel be glad when God restores the people!	7 Fai ricadere il male sopra i miei nemici, nella tua fedeltà annientali.
	8 Allora t'offrirò spontanei sacrifizi, e darò lode al tuo nome, perchè è buono,
	9 Perchè tu m'hai salvato da ogni tribolazione, e l'occhio mio può guardar con disprezzo i miei nemici.
