Psalms 105

1 Give thanks to the LORD, invoke his name; make known among the peoples his deeds!	1 הודו ליהוה קראו בשמו הודיעו בעמים עלילותיו
2 Sing praise, play music; proclaim all his wondrous deeds!	2 שירו לו זמרו לו שיחו בכל נפלאותיו
3 Glory in his holy name; rejoice, O hearts that seek the LORD!	3 התהללו בשם קדשו ישמח לב מבקשי יהוה
4 Rely on the mighty LORD; constantly seek his face.	4 דרשו יהוה ועזו בקשו פניו תמיד
5 Recall the wondrous deeds he has done, his signs and his words of judgment,	5 זכרו נפלאותיו אשר עשה מפתיו ומשפטי פיו
6 You descendants of Abraham his servant, offspring of Jacob the chosen one!	6 זרע אברהם עבדו בני יעקב בחיריו
7 The LORD is our God who rules the whole earth.	7 הוא יהוה אלהינו בכל הארץ משפטיו
8 He remembers forever his covenant, the pact imposed for a thousand generations,	8 זכר לעולם בריתו דבר צוה לאלף דור
9 Which was made with Abraham, confirmed by oath to Isaac,	9 אשר כרת את אברהם ושבועתו לישחק
10 And ratified as binding for Jacob, an everlasting covenant for Israel:	10 ויעמידה ליעקב לחק לישראל ברית עולם
11 "To you I give the land of Canaan, your own allotted heritage."	11 לאמר לך אתן את ארץ כנען חבל נחלתכם
12 When they were few in number, a handful, and strangers there,	12 בהיותם מתי מספר כמעט וגרים בה
13 Wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another,	13 ויתהלכו מגוי אל גוי מממלכה אל עם אחר
14 He let no one oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings:	14 לא הניח אדם לעשקם ויוכח עליהם מלכים
15 " Do not touch my anointed, to my prophets do no harm."	15 אל תגעו במשיחי ולנביאי אל תרעו
16 Then he called down a famine on the land, destroyed the grain that sustained them.	16 ויקרא רעב על הארץ כל מטה לחם שבר
17 He had sent a man ahead of them, Joseph, sold as a slave.	17 שלח לפניהם איש לעבד נמכר יוסף
18 They shackled his feet with chains; collared his neck in iron,	18 ענו בכבל רגליו ברזל באה נפשו
19 Till his prediction came to pass, and the word of the LORD proved him true.	19 עד עת בא דברו אמרת יהוה צרפתהו
20 The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free.	20 שלח מלך ויתירהו משל עמים ויפתחהו
21 He made him lord over his palace, ruler over all his possessions,	21 שמו אדון לביתו ומשל בכל קנינו
22 To instruct his princes by his word, to teach his elders wisdom.	22 לאסר שריו בנפשו וזקניו יחכם
23 Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob lived in the land of Ham.	23 ויבא ישראל מצרים ויעקב גר בארץ חם
24 God greatly increased his people, made them too many for their foes.	24 ויפר את עמו מאד ויעצמהו מצריו
25 He turned their hearts to hate his people, to treat his servants unfairly.	25 הפך לבם לשנא עמו להתנכל בעבדיו
26 He sent his servant Moses, Aaron whom he had chosen.	26 שלח משה עבדו אהרן אשר בחר בו
27 They worked his signs in Egypt and wonders in the land of Ham.	27 שמו בם דברי אתותיו ומפתים בארץ חם
28 He sent darkness and it grew dark, but they rebelled against his word.	28 שלח חשך ויחשך ולא מרו את דבריו
29 He turned their waters into blood and killed all their fish.	29 הפך את מימיהם לדם וימת את דגתם
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, even the chambers of their kings.	30 שרץ ארצם צפרדעים בחדרי מלכיהם
31 He spoke and there came swarms of flies, gnats through all their country.	31 אמר ויבא ערב כנים בכל גבולם
32 For rain he gave them hail, flashes of lightning throughout their land.	32 נתן גשמיהם ברד אש להבות בארצם
33 He struck down their vines and fig trees, shattered the trees of their country.	33 ויך גפנם ותאנתם וישבר עץ גבולם
34 He spoke and the locusts came, grass hoppers without number.	34 אמר ויבא ארבה וילק ואין מספר
35 They devoured every plant in the land; they ravaged the crops of their fields.	35 ויאכל כל עשב בארצם ויאכל פרי אדמתם
36 He struck down every firstborn in the land, the first fruits of all their vigor.	36 ויך כל בכור בארצם ראשית לכל אונם
37 He brought his people out, laden with silver and gold; no stragglers among the tribes.	37 ויוציאם בכסף וזהב ואין בשבטיו כושל
38 Egypt rejoiced when they left, for panic had seized them.	38 שמח מצרים בצאתם כי נפל פחדם עליהם
39 He spread a cloud as a cover, and made a fire to light up the night.	39 פרש ענן למסך ואש להאיר לילה
40 They asked and he brought them quail; with bread from heaven he filled them.	40 שאל ויבא שלו ולחם שמים ישביעם
41 He split the rock and water gushed forth; it flowed through the desert like a river.	41 פתח צור ויזובו מים הלכו בציות נהר
42 For he remembered his sacred word to Abraham his servant.	42 כי זכר את דבר קדשו את אברהם עבדו
43 He brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with shouts of triumph.	43 ויוצא עמו בששון ברנה את בחיריו
44 He gave them the lands of the nations, the wealth of the peoples to own,	44 ויתן להם ארצות גוים ועמל לאמים יירשו
45 That they might keep his laws and observe his teachings. Hallelujah!	45 בעבור ישמרו חקיו ותורתיו ינצרו הללו יה
