1 Then he made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high.	1 - Fece altresì un altare di rame lungo e largo venti cubiti e alto dieci.
2 He also made the molten sea. It was perfectly round, ten cubits in diameter, five in depth, and thirty in circumference;	2 Parimenti il mare di getto, di dieci cubiti da un orlo all'altro; esso era rotondo tutt'intorno; aveva cinque cubiti di altezza e misurava una circonferenza di trenta cubiti.
3 below the rim a ring of figures of oxen encircled the sea, ten to the cubit, all the way around; there were two rows of these cast in the same mold with the sea.	3 Sotto stavano delle figure di buoi e per dieci cubiti vi erano al di fuori tutto in giro all'alveo del mare delle sculture disposte in due ordini. 4 It rested on twelve oxen, three facing north, three west, three south, and three east, with their haunches all toward the center; the sea rested on their backs.	4 e il mare stesso poggiava sopra dodici buoi, dei quali tre erano a settentrione, tre a occidente, tre a mezzogiorno e gli altri tre ad oriente; essi sostenevano il mare ad essi sovrapposto ed eran disposti in modo che le loro parti posteriori eran di dentro sotto il mare.
5 It was a handbreadth thick, and its brim was made like that of a cup, being lily-shaped. It had a capacity of three thousand measures.	5 Il suo spessore era di un palmo; il suo orlo simile all'orlo di un calice o di un giglio sbocciato e conteneva tremila metrete.
6 Then he made ten basins for washing, placing five of them to the right and five to the left. Here were cleansed the victims for the holocausts; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.	6 Fece ancora dieci conche e le collocò cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra, per lavarvi tutto ciò che doveva essere offerto in olocausto, mentre i sacerdoti facevano le loro abluzioni nel mare.
7 He made the lampstands of gold, ten of them as was prescribed, and placed them in the nave, five to the right and five to the left.	7 Fece pure dieci candelabri d'oro secondo la forma, che era stata prescritta; e li pose nel tempio, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra.
8 He made ten tables and had them set in the nave, five to the right and five to the left; and he made a hundred golden bowls.	8 Così pure dieci mense; e le collocò nel tempio, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra; e parimenti cento fiale d'oro.
9 He made the court of the priests and the great courtyard and the gates of the courtyard; the gates he overlaid with bronze.	9 Fece altresì l'atrio dei sacerdoti e il grande portico, e le porte del portico che coprì di rame.
10 The sea was placed off to the southeast from the right side of the temple.	10 Collocò poi il mare dal lato destro verso oriente e mezzogiorno.
11 Huram also made the pots, the shovels and the bowls. Huram thus completed the work he had to do for King Solomon in the house of God:	11 Iram fabbricò altresì caldaie, padelle e coppe, e compì tutta l'opera del re nella casa del Signore,
12 two columns, two nodes for the capitals topping these two columns, and two networks covering the nodes of the capitals topping the columns;	12 vale a dire due colonne coi loro architravi e capitelli, e una specie di reticelle per coprire i capitelli sopra gli architravi;
13 also four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, with two rows of pomegranates to each network, to cover the two nodes of the capitals topping the columns.	13 le loro melagrane in numero di quattrocento e le due reticelle in modo che due ordini di melagrane si aggiungevano a ciascuna delle reticelle che coprivano i capitelli e gli architravi delle colonne.
14 He made the stands, and the basins on the stands;	14 Fece anche le basi e le conche sovrapposte alle basi,
15 one sea, and the twelve oxen under it;	15 il mare e i dodici buoi sotto il mare,
16 likewise the pots, the shovels and the forks. Huram-abi made all these articles for King Solomon from polished bronze for the house of the LORD.	16 e le caldaie, le padelle e le coppe. Tutti questi oggetti li fece per Salomone Iram, suo padre, nella casa del Signore con rame sceltissimo.
17 The king had them cast in the Jordan region, in the clayey ground between Succoth and Zeredah.	17 Il re li fece fondere nella regione del Giordano, nella terra argillosa tra Socot e Saredata.
18 Solomon made all these vessels, so many in number that the weight of the bronze was not ascertained.	18 La quantità poi dei vasi era innumerevole, talmente che non si sapeva quale ne fosse il peso in rame.
19 Solomon had all these articles made for the house of God: the golden altar, the tables on which the showbread lay,	19 Salomone fece fare tutti i vasi della casa di Dio e l'altare d'oro e le tavole e sovr'esse i pani della proposizione;
20 the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold which were to burn according to prescription before the sanctuary,	20 come pure i candelabri d'oro purissimo colle loro lucerne per splendere dinanzi al Santo dei Santi, secondo il rito.
21 flowers, lamps and gold tongs (this was the purest gold),	21 Pure d'oro purissimo furono certi fiorami, le lucerne e le mollette,
22 snuffers, bowls, cups and firepans of pure gold. As for the entry to the house, its inner doors to the holy of holies, as well as the doors to the nave, were of gold.	22 i turiboli, i bracieri, le coppe e i mortai; tutto fu fatto di oro purissimo. Anche le porte del tempio interiore, cioè del Santo dei Santi, e le porte del tempio esteriore erano d'oro, e così fu compiuto tutto il lavoro, che Salomone fece eseguire nella casa del Signore.
