1 Then he made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high.	1 Il fit un autel de bronze de 20 coudées de long, 20 coudées de large et 10 de haut.
2 He also made the molten sea. It was perfectly round, ten cubits in diameter, five in depth, and thirty in circumference;	2 Il fit la Mer en fonte, elle faisait 10 coudées de bord à bord et cinq de haut; une corde de 30 coudées en aurait fait le tour.
3 below the rim a ring of figures of oxen encircled the sea, ten to the cubit, all the way around; there were two rows of these cast in the same mold with the sea.	3 Des coloquintes la bordaient tout autour, il y en avait 10 par coudée: elles encerclaient la Mer. Il y avait deux rangées de coloquintes venues de fonte.
4 It rested on twelve oxen, three facing north, three west, three south, and three east, with their haunches all toward the center; the sea rested on their backs.	4 La Mer était posée sur 12 bœufs, trois tournés vers le nord, trois vers l’ouest, trois vers le sud, trois vers l’est; ils étaient tournés vers l’extérieur et portaient la Mer sur leur dos.
5 It was a handbreadth thick, and its brim was made like that of a cup, being lily-shaped. It had a capacity of three thousand measures.	5 Elle avait la largeur d’une main et son bord était façonné comme le bord d’une coupe, comme une fleur; elle pouvait contenir 3 000 mesures.
6 Then he made ten basins for washing, placing five of them to the right and five to the left. Here were cleansed the victims for the holocausts; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.	6 Il fit 10 bassins: cinq à droite et cinq à gauche. Ils servaient pour les purifications: on y lavait ce qui servait pour l’holocauste, mais les prêtres se purifiaient dans la Mer.
7 He made the lampstands of gold, ten of them as was prescribed, and placed them in the nave, five to the right and five to the left.	7 Il fit les 10 chandeliers dorés selon le modèle fixé et les plaça dans la première salle du Temple: cinq à droite et cinq à gauche.
8 He made ten tables and had them set in the nave, five to the right and five to the left; and he made a hundred golden bowls.	8 Il fit 10 tables: on les plaça dans le Temple: 10 à droite et 10 à gauche. Il fit également 100 cruches d’or.
9 He made the court of the priests and the great courtyard and the gates of the courtyard; the gates he overlaid with bronze.	9 Il fit la cour des prêtres et la grande cour avec leurs portes; les portes étaient recouvertes de bronze.
10 The sea was placed off to the southeast from the right side of the temple.	10 Il plaça la Mer du côté droit et regardant vers le Sud.
11 Huram also made the pots, the shovels and the bowls. Huram thus completed the work he had to do for King Solomon in the house of God:	11 Houram fit aussi les vases, les pelles et les coupes. Houram termina donc tout le travail que le roi Salomon lui avait commandé pour la Maison de Dieu:

13 also four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, with two rows of pomegranates to each network, to cover the two nodes of the capitals topping the columns.	13 les 400 grenades des deux filets, fixées en deux rangées pour chaque filet et qui recouvraient donc les chapiteaux au sommet des colonnes,
14 He made the stands, and the basins on the stands;	14 les 10 bassins avec leurs bases,
15 one sea, and the twelve oxen under it;	15 la Mer et les 12 bœufs qui la soutenaient,
16 likewise the pots, the shovels and the forks. Huram-abi made all these articles for King Solomon from polished bronze for the house of the LORD.	16 les vases, les pelles, les fourchettes. Houram-Abi fit en bronze poli tous ces objets commandés par le roi Salomon pour la Maison de Yahvé.
17 The king had them cast in the Jordan region, in the clayey ground between Succoth and Zeredah.	17 Le roi les fit fondre dans la plaine du Jourdain, près du gué d’Adam, entre Soukkoth et Sartan.
18 Solomon made all these vessels, so many in number that the weight of the bronze was not ascertained.	18 Ces objets faits par Salomon étaient si nombreux qu’on ne pouvait en compter le poids de bronze.
19 Solomon had all these articles made for the house of God: the golden altar, the tables on which the showbread lay,	19 Salomon fit faire tous les objets qui étaient dans la Maison de Dieu: l’autel en or et les tables pour les pains des offrandes,
20 the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold which were to burn according to prescription before the sanctuary,	20 les chandeliers d’or fin et leurs lampes pour les faire brûler selon la coutume devant le Sanctuaire: ils étaient en or fin,
21 flowers, lamps and gold tongs (this was the purest gold),	21 les décorations florales, les lampes, les éteignoirs en or fin,
22 snuffers, bowls, cups and firepans of pure gold. As for the entry to the house, its inner doors to the holy of holies, as well as the doors to the nave, were of gold.	22 les couteaux, les cruches, les écuelles, les encensoirs en or fin, la porte de la Maison, les portes intérieures qui menaient au Saint des Saints, en or fin.
