1 Allorché io lo invocai esaudimmi il Dio di mia giustizia: tu nella tribolazione mi apristi strada spaziosa. Abbi pietà di me, ed esaudisci la mia preghiera.	1 For the leader; with stringed instruments. A psalm of David.
2 Figliuoli degli uomini, e fino a quando avrete stupido il cuore? E perché amate voi la vanità, e andate dietro alla menzogna?	2 Answer when I call, my saving God. In my troubles, you cleared a way; show me favor; hear my prayer.
3 Or ponete mente, come il Signore ha renduto mirabile il suo santo: il Signore mi esaudirà quando io alzerò verso di lui la mia voce.	3 How long will you people mock my honor, love what is worthless, chase after lies? Selah
4 Adiratevi, ma guardatevi dal peccare: pentitevi ne' vostri letti delle cose, che andate dicendo ne' vostri cuori.	4 Know that the LORD works wonders for the faithful; the LORD hears when I call out.
5 Sagrificate sagrifizio di giustizia, e confidate nel Signore: molti dicono: Chi farà a noi vedere il bene?	5 Tremble and do not sin; upon your beds ponder in silence.
6 La luce della tua faccia è impressa sopra di noi: tu nel cuor mio infondesti letizia.	6 Offer fitting sacrifice and trust in the LORD.
7 Per la copia del loro frumento, del vino, e dell'olio si sono moltiplicati.	7 Many say, "May we see better times! LORD, show us the light of your face!" Selah
8 In pace insieme io dormirò, e mi riposerò;	8 But you have given my heart more joy than they have when grain and wine abound.
9 Perocché tu solo, o Signore, mi hai fondato nella speranza.	9 In peace I shall both lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me secure.
