1 And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;	1 - Quando sarai entrato nella terra che il Signore Dio tuo ti darà a possedere, e l'avrai conquistata e v'abiterai,
2 That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.	2 prenderai le primizie di tutte le tue raccolte, le porrai in una cesta, e ti recherai al luogo che il Signore Dio tuo avrà scelto perchè ivi s'invochi il suo nome.
3 And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.	3 Ti presenterai al sacerdote che sarà [in carica] in quel tempo, e gli dirai: - Io professo oggi innanzi al Signore Dio tuo, d'esser entrato nella terra della quale egli aveva giurato ai nostri padri che ce l'avrebbe data. -
4 And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.	4 Ed il sacerdote, ricevuta dalle tue mani la cesta, la porrà innanzi all'altare del Signore Dio tuo,
5 And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:	5 e tu, alla presenza del Signore Dio tuo, dirai: - Il Siro perseguitava il padre mio, il quale andò in Egitto e vi trasmigrò con pochissima gente, cresciuta poi in popolo grande, forte ed innumerevole.
6 And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:	6 Gli Egiziani ci angariarono e ci perseguitarono, imponendoci pesi gravissimi.
7 And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:	7 E noi gridammo al Signore Dio dei padri nostri; il quale ci esaudì, rimirò la nostra umiliazione, i travagli e le angustie nostre,
8 And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:	8 e ci condusse via dall'Egitto con mano forte e braccio disteso, tra grande spavento, con maraviglie e prodigi,
9 And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.	9 e ci fece entrar qui, dandoci una terra che stilla latte e miele.
10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:	10 Per questo dunque io offro ora le primizie de' frutti della terra che il Signore m'ha dato. - Le deporrai dinanzi al Signore Dio tuo, e, dopo adorato il Signore Dio tuo,
11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.	11 con tutti quei beni che il Signore Dio tuo ha dato a te ed alla tua casa, farai festa tu ed il levita ed il forestiero che è teco.
12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;	12 L'anno terzo, quando avrai finito di levar la decima di tutte le raccolte, darai [un'altra decima] per il levita, per il forestiero, per il pupillo e per la vedova che sono entro le tue porte, acciò mangino e si sazino.
13 Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:	13 Ed al cospetto del Signore Dio tuo dirai: - Ho levato di casa mia quello che era messo da parte, e l'ho dato al levita, al forestiero, al pupillo, alla vedova, come tu mi comandasti; non ho trasgredito i tuoi ordini, nè ho dimenticato il tuo precetto;
14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.	14 non ho mangiato di queste cose durante il mio lutto, non le ho messe da parte per uso alcuno immondo, nè me ne son servito affatto per alcun morto. Ho obbedito alla voce del Signore Dio mio, e tutto ho fatto come m'hai comandato.
15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.	15 Dal tuo santuario, e dall'eccelsa tua abitazione ne' cieli, riguarda e benedici ad Israele tuo popolo, ed alla terra che tu ci hai data, come avevi giurato ai padri nostri, terra che stilla latte e miele. -
16 This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.	16 Oggi il Signore Dio tuo ti comanda che tu eseguisca questi precetti e leggi, che tu custodisca e li adempia con tutto il cuore e con tutta l'anima.
17 Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:	17 Oggi tu hai scelto il Signore, perchè egli sia il tuo Dio, e tu cammini per le sue vie, custodisca i suoi statuti e precetti e leggi, ed obbedisca a' suoi comandamenti.
18 And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;	18 Ed oggi il Signore ha scelto te, perchè tu sia il popolo suo speciale, come t'ha detto, e tu custodisca tutti i suoi comandamenti;
19 And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.	19 così, ti farà essere la più eccelsa di tutte le nazioni da lui create, per la sua lode, pel suo nome, e per la sua gloria, talchè tu sia il popolo santo del Signore tuo, come egli ha detto».
