1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:	1 Poi mi condusse alla porta che guardava l'oriente.
2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.	2 Ed ecco che la gloria del Dio d'Israele entrava dalla parte d'oriente, e il suo rumore era come il rumore d'acque immense, e la terra risplendeva per la sua maestà.
3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.	3 E vidi una visione simile nell'aspetto a quella che avevo veduta, quando egli venne per distruggere la città, e la forma del suo aspetto era come quello che io avevo visto presso il fiume Cobar; ed io caddi bocconi.
4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.	4 E la maestà del Signore entrò nel tempio per la via della porta che guardava l'oriente.
5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.	5 Allora lo spirito mi levò in alto e mi fece entrare nell'atrio interiore, ed ecco che la casa era ripiena della gloria del Signore.
6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.	6 E sentii uno che mi parlava dalla casa, e l'uomo che mi stava accanto
7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.	7 mi disse: « Figlio dell'uomo, ecco il luogo del mio trono, il luogo ove poseranno i miei piedi, la mia dimora in mezzo ai figli d'Israele in eterno. Nè la casa d'Israele nè i suoi re contamineranno più il mio nome santo colle loro fornicazioni, coi cadaveri dei loro re e cogli alti luoghi.
8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.	8 Essi, che avevano fabbricata la loro porta presso la mia porta, le loro soglie presso le mie soglie, e c'era soltanto un muro tra me e loro, contaminarono il mio nome colle abominazioni da loro commesse, perciò nel mio furore li sterminai.
9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.	9 Ma ora tengati lungi da me la loro fornicazione e i cadaveri dei loro re, ed io starò in mezzo a loro per sempre.
10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.	10 Ma tu, o figlio dell'uomo, fa conoscere alla casa d'Israele il tempio. Affinchè si vergognino dei loro peccati, e misurino la fabbrica,
11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.	11 e si vergognino di tutto ciò che han fatto, mostra loro la forma della casa, le uscite e le entrate della fabbrica, e tutto il suo disegno, e tutti i suoi regolamenti, e tutto il suo ordine, e tutte le sue leggi; mettilo in iscritto sotto i loro occhi, affinchè ne custodiscano tutti i disegni e le cerimonie, e le mettano in esecuzione.
12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.	12 Questa è la legge della casa della cima del monte: il suo territorio tutto all'intorno è sacrosanto: tale è dunque la legge della casa ».
13 And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.	13 Ecco ora le misure dell'altare in cubiti perfetti, cioè d'un cubito e un palmo: il suo seno era un cubito, aveva un cubito di larghezza, e la cornice del suo seno, che si alzava sul suo margine tutto dall'intorno, era un palmo. Tale era dunque la fossa dell'altare.
14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.	14 E dal seno che era in terra, fino alla base inferiore, due cubiti, e un cubito di larghezza; e dalla base minore fino alla maggiore, quattro cubiti, e un cubito di larghezza.
15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.	15 E lo stesso Ariel era quattro cubiti, e da Ariel si alzavano in su quattro corna.
16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.	16 E Ariel aveva dodici cubiti di lunghezza e dodici cubiti di larghezza, un quadrangolo di lati uguali.
17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.	17 E la base aveva quattordici cubiti di lunghezza e quattordici cubiti di larghezza ai quattro suoi angoli, e gli girava intorno una cornice di mezzo cubito, e il suo seno era di un cubito tutt'all'intorno, e i suoi gradini eran volti ad oriente.
18 And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.	18 E mi disse: « Figlio dell'uomo, così parla il Signore Dio: Queste son le cerimonie riguardanti l'altare, quando sarà costruito, perchè vi sia offerto sopra l'olocausto e vi si effonda il sangue.
19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.	19 E tu le insegnerai ai sacerdoti e ai Leviti che son della stirpe di Sadoc, e si accostano a me — dice il Signore Dio — per offrirmi un vitello d'armento per il peccato.
20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.	20 Tu prenderai del sangue di esso, e ne getterai sulle quattro corna dell'altare, e sopra i quattro angoli della base, e sopra la cornice all'intorno, e farai la purificazione e l'espiazione dell'altare.
21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.	21 E preso il vitello offerto per il peccato, lo brucerai in luogo appartato della casa, fuori del santuario.
22 And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.	22 E il secondo giorno offrirai un capro senza macchia per il peccato, e si farà l'espiazione dell'altare, come fu fatta col vitello.
23 When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.	23 E quando ne avrai finita l'espiazione, offrirai un vitello di mandra senza difetto, e un ariete del gregge senza difetto.
24 And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.	24 E li offrirai nel cospetto del Signore, e i sacerdoti li cospargeranno di sale e li offriranno in olocausto al Signore.
25 Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.	25 Per sette giorni tu offrirai ogni giorno un capro per il peccato; così sarà pure offerto un vitello di armento e un ariete del gregge, privi di difetti.
26 Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.	26 Per sette giorni sarà fatta l'espiazione dell'altare, sarà purificato e consacrato.
27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.	27 Finiti i sette giorni, nell'ottavo giorno e in seguito i sacerdoti immoleranno sopra l'altare i vostri olocausti e quello che vien offèrto per la pace, e io resterò placato con voi dice il Signore Dio ».
