Ezekiel 43

1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:	1 El hombre me llevó hacia la puerta que miraba al oriente,
2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.	2 y yo vi que la gloria del Dios de Israel venía desde el oriente, con un ruido semejante al de las aguas caudalosas, y la tierra se iluminó con su Gloria.
3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.	3 Esta visión era como la que yo había visto cuando el Señor vino a destruir la ciudad, y como la que había visto junto al río Quebar. Entonces caí con el rostro en tierra.
4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.	4 La gloria del Señor entró en la Casa por la puerta que daba al oriente.
5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.	5 El espíritu me levantó y me introdujo en el atrio interior, y yo vi que la gloria del Señor llenaba la Casa.
6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.	6 Y oí que alguien me hablaba desde la Casa, mientras el hombre permanecía de pie junto a mí.
7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.	7 La voz me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, este es el lugar de mi trono, el lugar donde se asienta la planta de mis pies. Aquí habitaré para siempre en medio de los israelitas. El pueblo de Israel no profanará más mi Nombre: ni ellos ni sus reyes con sus prostituciones, ni los cadáveres de sus reyes con sus tumbas.
8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.	8 Al poner su umbral junto al mío y los postes de sus puertas al lado de los míos, con un simple muro de por medio, los israelitas mancharon mi santo Nombre con las abominaciones que cometieron, y yo los devoré con mi indignación.
9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.	9 Pero, de ahora en adelante, alejarán de mi sus prostituciones y los cadáveres de sus reyes, y yo habitaré en medio de ellos para siempre.
10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.	10 En cuanto a ti, hijo de hombre, describe la Casa al pueblo de Israel. Que ellos se avergüencen de sus culpas y tomen las medidas de su dueño.
11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.	11 Y si se avergüenzan de lo que hicieron, tú les darás a conocer la forma de la Casa y su diseño, sus salidas y sus entradas, y todos los preceptos y leyes concernientes a ella. Fíjalas por escrito a la vista de todos, para que observen todo lo concerniente a ella y lo realicen.
12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.	12 Esta es la ley concerniente a la Casa: todo su ámbito y sus alrededores, sobre la cima de la montaña, son un lugar santísimo. Tal es la ley concerniente a la Casa».
13 And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.	13 Estas son las dimensiones del altar, con sus medidas en codos, a razón de un codo y palmo, es decir, de medio metro por cada codo. La fosa circundante medía medio metro de alto por medio de ancho, con un reborde de un palmo sobre su contorno. La altura del altar era la siguiente:
14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.	14 desde el basamento sobre el suelo hasta la plataforma inferior, un metro de alto y medio de ancho; y desde la plataforma pequeña hasta la plataforma más grande, dos metros de alto y uno de ancho.
15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.	15 Desde allí hasta al ara del altar había dos metros, y por encima de ella sobresalían cuatro cuernos.
16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.	16 El ara medía seis metros de largo por seis de ancho: era un cuadrado perfecto.
17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.	17 La plataforma superior era un cuadrado de siete metros de largo por siete de ancho, con un reborde de veinticinco centímetros. La fosa circundante era de medio metro, y sus gradas estaban vueltas hacia el oriente.
18 And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.	18 El hombre me dijo: Hijo de hombre, así habla el Señor: Estas son las prescripciones concernientes al altar, cuando sea erigido para ofrecer el holocausto sobre él y rociarlo con sangre.
19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.	19 Tú darás un ternero como sacrificio por el pecado a los sacerdotes levitas, a los descendientes de Sadoc que se acercan a mí para servirme –oráculo del Señor–.
20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.	20 Luego tomarás una parte de su sangre y la echarás sobre los cuatro cuernos del altar, sobre los cuatro ángulos del zócalo y alrededor de todo su reborde. Así le quitarás el pecado y harás la expiación por él.
21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.	21 Después tomarás el ternero del sacrificio por el pecado, y este será quemado en una dependencia de la Casa, fuera del Santuario.
22 And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.	22 El segundo día, ofrecerás un chivo sin defecto como sacrificio por el pecado y se quitará el pecado del altar, como se había hecho con el ternero.
23 When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.	23 Cuando hayas acabado de quitar el pecado, tomarás un ternero sin defecto y un carnero sin defecto, sacados del rebaño,
24 And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.	24 y los presentarás delante del Señor: los sacerdotes les echarán sal y los ofrecerán en holocausto al Señor.
25 Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.	25 Durante siete días, ofrecerás diariamente un chivo en sacrificio por el pecado; también se ofrecerá un ternero y un carnero sin defecto, sacados del rebaño.
26 Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.	26 Durante siete días se hará la expiación por el altar, se lo purificará y se lo dedicará.
27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.	27 Al cabo de estos días, desde el día octavo en adelante, los sacerdotes ofrecerán sobre el altar los holocaustos de ustedes y sus sacrificios de comunión, y yo los aceptaré –oráculo del Señor–.
