1 How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?	1 Del maestro de coro. Salmo. De David.
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?	2 ¿Hasta cuándo, Yahveh, me olvidarás? ¿Por siempre? ¿Hasta cuándo me ocultarás tu rostro?
3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;	3 ¿Hasta cuándo tendré congojas en mi alma, en mi corazón angustia, día y noche? ¿Hasta cuándo triunfará sobre mí mi enemigo?
4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.	4 ¡Mira, respóndeme, Yahveh, Dios mío! ¡Ilumina mis ojos, no me duerma en la muerte,
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.	5 no diga mi enemigo: «¡Le he podido!», no exulten mis adversarios al verme vacilar!
6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.	6 Que yo en tu amor confío; en tu salvación mi corazón exulte. ¡A Yahveh cantaré por el bien que me ha hecho Samodiaré al nombre de Yahveh, el Altísimo!
