1 And Beseleel made also the ark of setim wood: it was two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth, and the height was of one cubit and a half: and he overlaid it with the purest gold within and without.	1 Béséléel fit aussi l'arche de bois de sétim. Elle avait deux coudées et demie de long, une coudée et demie de large et une coudée et demie de haut; il la couvrit d'un or très pur au dedans et au dehors,
2 And he made to it a crown of gold round about,	2 Et il fit une couronne d'or qui régnait tout autour.
3 Casting four rings of gold at the four corners thereof: two rings in one side, and two in the other.	3 Il fit jeter en fonte quatre anneaux d'or qu'il mit aux quatre coins de l'arche, deux d'un côté et deux de l'autre.
4 And he made bars of setim wood, which he overlaid with gold,	4 Il fit aussi des bâtons de bois de sétim, qu'il couvrit d'or,
5 And he put them into the rings that were at the sides of the ark to carry it.	5 Et il les fit entrer dans les anneaux qui étaient aux côtés de l'arche, pour la porter.
6 He made also the propitiatory, that is, the oracle, of the purest gold, two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth.	6 Il fit encore le propitiatoire, c'est-à-dire l'oracle, d'un or très pur; il avait deux coudées et demie de long et une coudée et demie de large.
7 Two cherubims also of beaten gold, which he set on the two sides of the propitiatory:	7 Comme aussi deux chérubins d'or battu, qu'il mit aux deux côtés du propitiatoire:
8 One cherub in the top of one side, and the other cherub in the top of the other side: two cherubims at the two ends of the propitiatory,	8 Un chérubin à l'extrémité d'un des deux côtés, est l'autre chérubin à l'extrémité de l'autre côté. Ainsi chacun des deux chérubins était à l'une des extrémités du propitiatoire.
9 Spreading their wings, and covering the propitiatory, and looking one towards the other, and towards it.	9 Ils étendaient leurs ailes, dont ils couvraient le propitiatoire, et ils se regardaient l'un l'autre, aussi bien que le propitiatoire.
10 He made also the table of setim wood, in length two cubits, and in breadth one cubit, and in height it was a cubit and a half.	10 Il fit encore une table de bois de sétim qui avait deux coudées de long, une coudée de large et une coudée et demie de haut.
11 And he overlaid it with the finest gold, and he made to it a golden ledge round about.	11 Il la couvrit d'un or très pur, et il y fit tout autour une bordure d'or,
12 And to the ledge itself he made a polished crown of gold, of four fingers' breadth, and upon the same another golden crown.	12 Et, sur la bordure, une couronne d'or de sculpture à jour, haute de quatre doigts, et il mit encore au-dessus une autre couronne d'or.
13 And he cast four rings of gold, which he put in the four corners at each foot of the table,	13 Il fit fondre aussi quatre anneaux d'or, qu'il mit aux quatre coins de la table, un à chaque pied,
14 Over against the crown: and he put the bars into them, that the table might be carried.	14 Au-dessous de la couronne, et il y fit passer les bâtons, afin qu'ils servissent à porter la table.
15 And the bars also themselves he made of setim wood, and overlaid them with gold,	15 Les bâtons qu'il fit étaient de bois de sétim, et il les couvrit de lames d'or.
16 And the vessels for the divers uses of the table, dishes, bowls, and cups, and censers of pure gold, wherein the libations are to be offered.	16 Pour les différents usages de cette table, il fit des plats d'un or très pur, des coupes, des encensoirs et des tasses pour servir aux libations.
17 He made also the candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold. From the shaft whereof its branches, its cups, and bowls, and lilies came out:	17 Il fit aussi le chandelier de l'or le plus pur, battu au marteau. Il y avait des branches, des coupes, des pommes et des lis qui sortaient de sa tige.
18 Six on the two sides: three branches on one side, and three on the other.	18 Six branches sortaient des deux côtés de sa tige, trois d'un côté et trois de l'autre.
19 Three cups in manner of a nut on each branch, and bowls withal and lilies; and three cups of the fashion of a nut in another branch, and bowls withal and lilies. The work of the six branches that went out from the shaft of the candlestick was equal.	19 Il y avait trois coupes en forme de noix, avec des pommes et des lis en l'une des branches, et de même trois coupes en forme de noix, avec des pommes et des lis en l'autre branche. Et toutes les six branches qui sortaient de la tige étaient travaillées de même.
20 And in the shaft itself were four cups after the manner of a nut, and bowls withal at every one, and lilies:	20 Mais la tige du chandelier avait quatre coupes en forme de noix, accompagnées chacune de sa pomme et de son lis.
21 And bowls under two branches in three places, which together make six branches going out from one shaft.	21 Il y avait trois pommes en trois endroits de la tige, et de chaque pomme sortaient deux branches, qui faisaient en tout six branches naissant d'une même tige.
22 So both the bowls, and the branches were of the same, all beaten work of the purest gold.	22 Ces pommes et ces branches sortaient donc du chandelier, étant toutes d'un or très pur battu au marteau.
23 He made also the seven lamps with their snuffers, and the vessels where the snuffings were to be put out, of the purest gold.	23 Il fit aussi d'un or très pur sept lampes avec leurs mouchettes et les vases destinés pour y éteindre ce qui avait été mouché des lampes.
24 The candlestick with all the vessels thereof weighed a talent of gold.	24 Le chandelier, avec tout ce qui servait à son usage, pesait un talent d'or.
25 He made also the altar of incense of setim wood, being a cubit on every side foursquare, and in height two cubits: from the corners of which went out horns.	25 Il fit encore l'autel des parfums de bois de sétim, qui avait une coudée en carré et deux coudées de haut, et d'où sortaient quatre cornes aux quatre angles.
26 And he overlaid it with the purest gold, with its grate and the sides, and the horns.	26 Il le couvrit d'un or très pur, avec sa grille, ses quatre côtés et ses quatre cornes.
27 And he made to it a crown of gold round about, and two golden rings under the crown at each side, that the bars might be put into them, and the altar be carried.	27 Il fit une couronne d'or qui régnait tout autour, et il y avait des deux côtés, au-dessous de la couronne, deux anneaux d'or pour y faire entrer les bâtons qui devaient servir à porter l'autel.
28 And the bars themselves he made also of setim wood, and overlaid them with plates of gold.	28 Il fit ces bâtons de bois de sétim et les couvrit de lames d'or.
29 He compounded also the oil for the ointment of sanctification, and incense of the purest spices, according to the work of a perfumer.	29 Il composa aussi l'huile pour en faire les onctions de consécration et les parfums composés d'aromates très exquis, selon l'art des plus habiles parfumeurs.
