1 - Davide ebbe questi figli, che gli nacquero in Ebron: il primogenito Amnon da Achinoam di Jezrael, il secondo Daniel nato da Abigail di Carmelo,	1 The following were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: the first-born, Amnon, by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second, Daniel, by Abigail of Carmel;
2 il terzo Absalom figlio di Maaca figlia di Tolmai, re di Gessur, il quarto Adonia figlio di Aggit,	2 the third, Absalom, son of Maacah, who was the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah, son of Haggith;
3 il quinto Safatia da Abital, il sesto Jetraam da Egla sua moglie.	3 the fifth, Shephatiah, by Abital; the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah.
4 Questi sei dunque gli nacquero in Ebron, dove regnò sette anni e sei mesi, mentre in Gerusalemme regnò trentatrè anni.	4 Six in all were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. Then he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem,

9 Tutti costoro furono figli di Davide, senza contare i figli delle concubine. Ebbero come sorella Tamar.	9 All these were sons of David, in addition to other sons by concubines; and Tamar was their sister.
10 Il figlio di Salomone fu Roboam, il cui figlio Abia generò Asa, da costui nacque Josafat,	10 The son of Solomon was Rehoboam, whose son was Abijah, whose son was Asa, whose son was Jehoshaphat,
11 padre di Joram, il qual Joram generò Ocozia, dal quale nacque Joas	11 whose son was Joram, whose son was Ahaziah, whose son was Joash,
12 e il cui figlio Amasia generò Azaria. Azaria ebbe come figlio Joatan,	12 whose son was Amaziah, whose son was Azariah, whose son was Jotham,
13 che generò Acaz, padre di Ezechia, da cui nacque Manasse.	13 whose son was Ahaz, whose son was Hezekiah, whose son was Manasseh,

15 e i figli di Josia furono: Joanan primogenito, il secondo Joachim, il terzo Sedecia, il quarto Sellum.	15 The sons of Josiah were: the first-born Johanan; the second, Jehoiakim; the third, Zedekiah; the fourth, Shallum.
16 Da Joachim nacquero Jeconia e Sedecia.	16 The sons of Jehoiakim were: Jeconiah, his son; Zedekiah, his son.
17 I figli di Jeconia furono: Asir, Salatiel,	17 The sons of Jeconiah the captive were: Shealtiel,
18 Melchiram, Fadaia, Senneser, Jecemia, Sama, Nadabia.	18 Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Shama, and Nedabiah.
19 Da Fadaia nacquero: Zorobabele e Semei. Zorobabele generò Mosolla, Anania, e Salomit loro sorella,	19 The sons of Pedaiah were Zerubbabel and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam and Hananiah; Shelomith was their sister.
20 Asaban, Ool, Barachia, Asadia e Josabeset, cinque in tutto.	20 The sons of Meshullam were Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, Jushabhesed--five.
21 Il figlio di Anania fu Faltias padre di Jeseia, di cui fu figliuolo Rafaia. Costui ebbe un figlio di nome Arnan, da cui nacque Obdia, di cui fu figlio Sechenia.	21 The sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah, Jeshaiah, Rephaiah, Arnan, Obadiah, and Shecaniah.
22 Semeia, figlio di Sechenia, ebbe quali figli Attus, Jegaal, Baria, Naaria, Safat, sei di numero.	22 The sons of Shecaniah were Shemiah, Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, Shaphat--six.
23 I figli di Naaria: Elioenai, Ezechia e Ezricam, tre in tutto.	23 The sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam--three.
24 Figli di Elioenai: Oduia, Eliasub, Feleia, Accub, Joanan, Dalaia e Anani, sette in tutto.	24 The sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani--seven.
