CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAINLXX
Unto the end. A Canticle Psalm of the Resurrection. Shout joyfully to God, all the earth.1 εις το τελος ωδη ψαλμου αναστασεως αλαλαξατε τω θεω πασα η γη
Proclaim a psalm to his name. Give glory to his praise.2 ψαλατε δη τω ονοματι αυτου δοτε δοξαν αινεσει αυτου
Exclaim to God, “How terrible are your works, O Lord!” According to the fullness of your virtue, your enemies will speak lies about you.3 ειπατε τω θεω ως φοβερα τα εργα σου εν τω πληθει της δυναμεως σου ψευσονται σε οι εχθροι σου
Let all the earth adore you and sing psalms to you. May it sing a psalm to your name.4 πασα η γη προσκυνησατωσαν σοι και ψαλατωσαν σοι ψαλατωσαν τω ονοματι σου διαψαλμα
Draw near and see the works of God, who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men.5 δευτε και ιδετε τα εργα του θεου φοβερος εν βουλαις υπερ τους υιους των ανθρωπων
He converts the sea into dry land. They will cross the river on foot. There, we will rejoice in him.6 ο μεταστρεφων την θαλασσαν εις ξηραν εν ποταμω διελευσονται ποδι εκει ευφρανθησομεθα επ' αυτω
He rules by his virtue for eternity. His eyes gaze upon the nations. May those who exasperate him, not be exalted in themselves.7 τω δεσποζοντι εν τη δυναστεια αυτου του αιωνος οι οφθαλμοι αυτου επι τα εθνη επιβλεπουσιν οι παραπικραινοντες μη υψουσθωσαν εν εαυτοις διαψαλμα
Bless our God, you Gentiles, and make the voice of his praise be heard.8 ευλογειτε εθνη τον θεον ημων και ακουτισασθε την φωνην της αινεσεως αυτου
He has set my soul toward life, and he has granted that my feet may not be shaken.9 του θεμενου την ψυχην μου εις ζωην και μη δοντος εις σαλον τους ποδας μου
For you, O God, have tested us. You have examined us by fire, just as silver is examined.10 οτι εδοκιμασας ημας ο θεος επυρωσας ημας ως πυρουται το αργυριον
You have led us into a snare. You have placed tribulations on our back.11 εισηγαγες ημας εις την παγιδα εθου θλιψεις επι τον νωτον ημων
You have set men over our heads. We have crossed through fire and water. And you have led us out to refreshment.12 επεβιβασας ανθρωπους επι τας κεφαλας ημων διηλθομεν δια πυρος και υδατος και εξηγαγες ημας εις αναψυχην
I will enter your house with holocausts. I will repay my vows to you,13 εισελευσομαι εις τον οικον σου εν ολοκαυτωμασιν αποδωσω σοι τας ευχας μου
which my lips discerned and my mouth spoke, in my tribulation.14 ας διεστειλεν τα χειλη μου και ελαλησεν το στομα μου εν τη θλιψει μου
I will offer to you holocausts full of marrow, with the burnt offerings of rams. I will offer to you bulls as well as goats.15 ολοκαυτωματα μεμυαλωμενα ανοισω σοι μετα θυμιαματος και κριων ποιησω σοι βοας μετα χιμαρων διαψαλμα
Draw near and listen, all you who fear God, and I will describe to you how much he has done for my soul.16 δευτε ακουσατε και διηγησομαι παντες οι φοβουμενοι τον θεον οσα εποιησεν τη ψυχη μου
I cried out to him with my mouth, and I extolled him under my breath.17 προς αυτον τω στοματι μου εκεκραξα και υψωσα υπο την γλωσσαν μου
If I have seen iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not heed me.18 αδικιαν ει εθεωρουν εν καρδια μου μη εισακουσατω κυριος
And yet, God has heeded me and he has attended to the voice of my supplication.19 δια τουτο εισηκουσεν μου ο θεος προσεσχεν τη φωνη της δεησεως μου
Blessed is God, who has not removed my prayer, nor his mercy, from me.20 ευλογητος ο θεος ος ουκ απεστησεν την προσευχην μου και το ελεος αυτου απ' εμου
