2 All nations, clap your hands. Shout joyfully to God with a voice of exultation.	2 Dio è per noi rifugio e presidio, grande aiuto s'è mostrato nell'angustia.
3 For the Lord is exalted and terrible: a great King over all the earth.	3 Per questo non temeremmo se si sconvolgesse la terra, se precipitassero i monti in seno al mare.
4 He has subjected the peoples to us and subdued the nations under our feet.	4 Fremono, spumeggiano le sue acque, sobbalzano i monti al suo impeto.
5 He has chosen us for his inheritance: the splendor of Jacob, whom he has loved.	5 Il fiume con i suoi canali allieta la città di Dio, ha santificato l'Altissimo la sua dimora.
6 God ascends with jubilation, and the Lord with the voice of the trumpet.	6 Dio sta in mezzo ad essa: non vacillerà; la soccorre l'Altissimo al sorgere del mattino.
7 Sing psalms to our God, sing psalms. Sing psalms to our King, sing psalms.	7 Fremettero le genti, vacillarono i regni, emise il suo grido, si scosse la terra.
8 For God is the King of all the earth. Sing psalms wisely.	8 Il Signore delle Schiere è con noi, una rocca è per noi il Dio di Giacobbe.
9 God will reign over the peoples. God sits upon his holy throne.	9 Orsù, le gesta del Signore osservate, poiché egli sparge desolazione sulla terra;
10 The leaders of the peoples have been gathered together by the God of Abraham. For the strong gods of the earth have been exceedingly exalted.	10 fa cessare la guerra fino ai confini della terra: spezza l'arco, frantuma la lancia, dà alle fiamme i carri di guerra.
	11 Cessate, e riconoscete che io, Dio, trionfo sui popoli, trionfo sulla terra.
	12 Il Signore delle Schiere è con noi, una rocca è per noi il Dio di Giacobbe.
