1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion.	1 Loda il Signore, o Gerusalemme, loda il tuo Dio, o Sionne.
2 For he has reinforced the bars of your gates. He has blessed your sons within you.	2 Perchè Egli ha rafforzate le sbarre delle tue porte, ha benedetti in te i tuoi figlioli.
3 He has stationed peace at your borders, and he has satisfied you with the fat of the grain.	3 Egli ha messa ai tuoi confini la pace e ti pasce di fior di frumento.
4 He sends forth his eloquence to the earth. His word runs swiftly.	4 Egli manda i suoi ordini alla terra, e la sua parola corre veloce.
5 He provides snow like wool. He strews clouds like ashes.	5 Fa cader la neve come fiocchi di lana, sparge la nebbia come cenere.
6 He sends his ice crystals like morsels. Who can stand firm before the face of his cold?	6 Lancia il suo ghiaccio a pezzetti: chi può resistere al suo gelo?
7 He will send forth his word, and it will melt them. His Spirit will breathe out, and the waters will flow.	7 Manda il suo ordine e fa liquefare il ghiaccio, fa soffiare il suo vento e scorrono le acque.
8 He announces his word to Jacob, his justices and his judgments to Israel.	8 Egli annunzia la sua parola a Giacobbe, le sue leggi e i suoi decreti a Israele.
9 He has not done so much for every nation, and he has not made his judgments manifest to them. Alleluia.	9 A nessun altro popolo fece altrettanto, a nessun altro manifestò i suoi giudizi. Alleluia.
