1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion.	1 Alleluia. Lodate Dio. Loda, o Gerusalemme, il Signore: loda, o Sionne, il tuo Dio.
2 For he has reinforced the bars of your gates. He has blessed your sons within you.	2 Perocché forti sbarre ha egli messe alle tue porte: ha benedetti i tuoi figliuoli dentro di te.
3 He has stationed peace at your borders, and he has satisfied you with the fat of the grain.	3 Egli ha messa ne' tuoi confini la pace, e di fior di frumento ti pasce.
4 He sends forth his eloquence to the earth. His word runs swiftly.	4 Egli manda la sua parola alla terra: la sua parola corre velocemente.
5 He provides snow like wool. He strews clouds like ashes.	5 Ei da la neve come fiocchi di lana: come cenere sparge la nebbia.
6 He sends his ice crystals like morsels. Who can stand firm before the face of his cold?	6 Manda il suo gelo come pezzi di pane: chi può reggere al freddo, ch'ei porta?
7 He will send forth his word, and it will melt them. His Spirit will breathe out, and the waters will flow.	7 Manderà i suoi ordini, e farà, ch'i si sciolgano: soffierà lo spirito di lui, e scorreranno le acque.
8 He announces his word to Jacob, his justices and his judgments to Israel.	8 Egli, che annunzia la sua parola a Giacobbe, i suoi precetti, e i suoi giudizj ad Israele.
9 He has not done so much for every nation, and he has not made his judgments manifest to them. Alleluia.	9 Non ha fatto cosi a tutte le nazioni, né ha manifestati ad essi i suoi giudizj. Alleluia.
