1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Der Herr sprach zu Mose:
2 “In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall raise the tabernacle of the testimony,	2 Am ersten Tag des ersten Monats sollst du die Wohnstätte des Offenbarungszeltes aufstellen.
3 and you shall place the ark in it, and you shall release the veil before it.	3 Stell die Lade der Bundesurkunde hinein und verdeck die Lade durch den Vorhang!
4 And having brought in the table, you shall place the things which were solemnly commanded upon it. The lampstand shall stand with its lamps,	4 Bring den Tisch hinein und leg seine Ausrüstung zurecht; stell den Leuchter auf und setz seine Lampen auf!
5 and the altar of gold, in which the incense is burned, shall stand before the ark of the testimony. You shall place the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle,	5 Stell den goldenen Räucheraltar vor die Lade der Bundesurkunde und häng den Vorhang vor den Eingang der Wohnstätte!
6 and before it, the altar of holocaust.	6 Errichte den Brandopferaltar vor dem Eingang der Wohnstätte, des Offenbarungszeltes!
7 The washtub shall stand between the altar and the tabernacle, and you shall fill it with water.	7 Das Becken stell zwischen das Offenbarungszelt und den Altar und gieß Wasser hinein!
8 And you shall encompass the atrium and its entrance with hangings.	8 Errichte den Vorhof ringsum und häng den Vorhang an das Tor des Vorhofs!
9 And, having taken up the oil of unction, you shall anoint the tabernacle along with its articles, so that they may be sanctified.	9 Nimm das Salböl und salbe die Wohnstätte und alles, was in ihr ist. Weihe sie mit allen ihren Geräten! So wird sie heilig sein.
10 The altar of holocaust and all its vessels,	10 Salbe auch den Brandopferaltar mit all seinen Geräten und weihe den Altar! So wird der Altar hochheilig sein.
11 the washtub with its base, and all things, you shall consecrate with the oil of unction, so that they may be the Holy of holies.	11 Salbe das Becken mit seinem Gestell und weihe es!
12 And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony, and, having washed them with water,	12 Dann lass Aaron und seine Söhne zum Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes herantreten und wasche sie mit Wasser!
13 you shall clothe them in the holy vestments, so that they may minister to me, and so that their unction may accomplish an everlasting priesthood.”	13 Bekleide Aaron mit den heiligen Gewändern, salbe und weihe ihn, damit er mir als Priester dient.
14 And Moses did all that the Lord had instructed.	14 Dann lass seine Söhne herantreten und bekleide sie mit Leibröcken;
15 Therefore, in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was put in place.	15 salbe sie, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, damit sie mir als Priester dienen. Ihre Salbung soll ihnen ein immer währendes Priestertum sichern von Generation zu Generation.
16 And Moses raised it up, and he positioned the panels as well as the bases and the bars, and he set up the columns,	16 Mose tat es. Er machte alles, wie es der Herr ihm befohlen hatte.
17 and he stretched out the roof over the tabernacle, imposing a cover above it, just as the Lord had decreed.	17 Im zweiten Jahr, am ersten Tag des ersten Monats, stellte man die Wohnstätte auf.

19 And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, in order to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.	19 Dann spannte er das Zelt über die Wohnstätte und legte die Decke des Zeltes darüber, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
20 And he placed the table in the tabernacle of the testimony, at the north side, beyond the veil,	20 Dann nahm er die Bundesurkunde, legte sie in die Lade, brachte die Stangen an der Lade an und setzte die Deckplatte oben auf die Lade.
21 arranging before it the bread of the presence, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.	21 Er brachte die Lade in die Wohnstätte, spannte die Vorhangdecke auf und verdeckte so die Lade der Bundesurkunde, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
22 And he placed the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, away from the table, on the south side,	22 Er stellte den Tisch in das Offenbarungszelt, an die Nordseite der Wohnstätte, vor den Vorhang.
23 setting the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.	23 Darauf schichtete er die Brote vor dem Herrn auf, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
24 He also positioned the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony, opposite the veil,	24 Er stellte den Leuchter in das Offenbarungszelt, dem Tisch gegenüber, an die Südseite der Wohnstätte.
25 and he heaped upon it the incense of aromatics, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.	25 Er setzte die Lampen vor dem Herrn auf, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
26 And he positioned the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony,	26 Dann stellte er den goldenen Altar in das Offenbarungszelt vor den Vorhang.
27 and the altar of holocaust in the vestibule of the testimony, offering the holocaust and the sacrifices upon it, just as the Lord had decreed.	27 Er ließ auf ihm duftendes Räucherwerk verbrennen, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
28 Likewise, he stationed the washtub between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.	28 Dann hängte er den Vorhang an den Eingang der Wohnstätte.
29 And Moses and Aaron, along with his sons, washed their hands and feet,	29 Den Brandopferaltar stellte er an den Eingang der Wohnstätte, des Offenbarungszeltes, und brachte auf ihm das Brand- und Speiseopfer dar, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
30 whenever they would enter the covering of the covenant, and when they approached to the altar, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.	30 Er stellte das Becken zwischen das Offenbarungszelt und den Altar und goss Wasser zum Waschen hinein.
31 And he raised up the atrium around the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging at its entrance. After all these things were perfected,	31 Darin wuschen Mose, Aaron und seine Söhne ihre Hände und Füße.
32 the cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.	32 Wenn sie in das Offenbarungszelt eintraten oder sich dem Altar näherten, wuschen sie sich, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
33 Neither could Moses enter the covering of the covenant: the cloud was covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord was flashing. For the cloud had covered everything.	33 Er errichtete den Vorhof um die Wohnstätte und den Altar und ließ den Vorhang am Tor des Vorhofs aufhängen. So vollendete Mose das Werk.
34 Whenever the cloud departed from the tabernacle, the sons of Israel set out by their companies.	34 Dann verhüllte die Wolke das Offenbarungszelt und die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllte die Wohnstätte.
35 But if it remained hanging over it, they remained in the same place.	35 Mose konnte das Offenbarungszelt nicht betreten, denn die Wolke lag darauf, und die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllte die Wohnstätte.
36 Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.	36 Immer, wenn die Wolke sich von der Wohnstätte erhob, brachen die Israeliten auf, solange ihre Wanderung dauerte.
	37 Wenn sich aber die Wolke nicht erhob, brachen sie nicht auf, bis zu dem Tag, an dem sie sich erhob.
	38 Bei Tag schwebte über der Wohnstätte die Wolke des Herrn, bei Nacht aber war an ihr Feuer vor den Augen des ganzen Hauses Israel, solange ihre Wanderung dauerte.
