1 Ich schaute, und siehe, das Lamm stand auf dem Berg Sion und mit ihm hundertvierundvierzigtausend, die seinen Namen tragen und den Namen seines Vaters, geschrieben auf ihren Stirnen.	1 And I beheld, and lo a lamb stood upon mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.
2 Und ich hörte eine Stimme aus dem Himmel wie das Rauschen vieler Wasser und wie das Rollen eines starken Donners, und die Stimme, die ich hörte, war wie von Harfenspielern, die ihre Harfen schlugen.	2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the noise of many waters, and as the voice of great thunder; and the voice which I heard, was as the voice of harpers, harping on their harps.
3 Und sie sangen die Weise eines neuen Liedes vor dem Thron und vor den vier Wesen und den Ältesten, und niemand konnte das Lied erlernen als die hundertvierundvierzigtausend, die losgekauft sind von der Erde.	3 And they sung as it were a new canticle, before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the ancients; and no man could say the canticle, but those hundred forty-four thousand, who were purchased from the earth.
4 Es sind jene, die sich mit Frauen nicht befleckt haben; denn jungfräulich sind sie. Sie folgen dem Lamm, wohin es geht. Sie wurden losgekauft aus den Menschen als Erstlinge für Gott und das Lamm.	4 These are they who were not defiled with women: for they are virgins. These follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, the firstfruits to God and to the Lamb:
5 In ihrem Mund wurde keine Lüge gefunden; makellos sind sie [vor dem Throne Gottes].	5 And in their mouth there was found no lie; for they are without spot before the throne of God.
6 Und ich sah einen anderen Engel hoch oben am Himmel fliegen; der hatte den Bewohnern der Erde eine ewige Heilsbotschaft zu künden, jedem Volk und Stamm, jeder Zunge und Nation.	6 And I saw another angel flying through the midst of heaven, having the eternal gospel, to preach unto them that sit upon the earth, and over every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people:
7 Er rief mit lauter Stimme: "Fürchtet Gott und gebt ihm Ehre; denn die Stunde seines Gerichtes ist gekommen. Betet ihn an, der den Himmel geschaffen hat und die Erde, das Meer und die Quellen der Wasser!"	7 Saying with a loud voice: Fear the Lord, and give him honour, because the hour of his judgment is come; and adore ye him, that made heaven and earth, the sea, and the fountains of waters.
8 Ein anderer, ein zweiter Engel folgte und rief: "Sie ist gefallen, sie ist gefallen, die Stadt Babylon, die große, die vom Glutwein ihrer Unzucht trinken ließ alle Völker."	8 And another angel followed, saying: That great Babylon is fallen, is fallen; which made all nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9 Ein anderer, ein dritter Engel folgte ihnen und rief mit lauter Stimme: "Wenn einer das Tier anbetet und sein Bild und das Malzeichen annimmt auf seiner Stirn oder Hand,	9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice: If any man shall adore the beast and his image, and receive his character in his forehead, or in his hand;
10 wird auch er trinken vom Glutwein Gottes, der ungemischt eingegossen ist in den Becher seines Zornes, und er wird gepeinigt werden in Feuer und Schwefel vor den heiligen Engeln und vor dem Lamm.	10 He also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mingled with pure wine in the cup of his wrath, and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the sight of the holy angels, and in the sight of the Lamb.
11 Und der Rauch von ihrer Qual wird aufsteigen in alle Ewigkeit, und sie werden nicht Ruhe haben Tag und Nacht, die das Tier anbeten und sein Bild und so einer das Malzeichen annimmt seines Namens."	11 And the smoke of their torments shall ascend up for ever and ever: neither have they rest day nor night, who have adored the beast, and his image, and whoever receiveth the character of his name.
12 Hier zeigt sich die Standhaftigkeit der Heiligen, die Gottes Gebote wahren und den Glauben an Jesus.	12 Here is the patience of the saints, who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 Und ich hörte eine Stimme vom Himmel, die [zu mir] sprach: "Schreibe: Selig die Toten, die im Herrn sterben von nun an! Wahrlich, spricht der Geist, sie werden ausruhen von ihren Mühen; denn ihre Werke folgen ihnen nach."	13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord. From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.
14 Ich schaute, und siehe, eine weiße Wolke, und auf der Wolke saß einer gleich einem Menschensohn, der hatte auf seinem Haupt einen goldenen Kranz und in seiner Hand eine scharfe Sichel.	14 And I saw, and behold a white cloud; and upon the cloud one sitting like to the Son of man, having on his head a crown of gold, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 Ein anderer Engel trat aus dem Tempel hervor und rief mit lauter Stimme dem zu, der auf der Wolke saß: "Leg deine Sichel an und ernte! Denn gekommen ist die Stunde des Erntens; ausgereift ist die Ernte der Erde."	15 And another angel came out from the temple crying with a loud voice to him that sat upon the cloud: Thrust in thy sickle, and reap, because the hour is come to reap: for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 Und der auf der Wolke saß, legte seine Sichel an die Erde, und die Erde wurde abgeerntet.	16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust his sickle into the earth, and the earth was reaped.
17 Und ein anderer Engel trat aus dem Tempel im Himmel; auch er hatte eine scharfe Sichel.	17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 Ein weiterer Engel kam vom Altare her; er hatte Macht über das Feuer, und er rief mit lauter Stimme dem zu, der die scharfe Sichel hatte: "Leg deine scharfe Sichel an und ernte die Trauben vom Weinstock der Erde; denn seine Beeren sind reif!"	18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire; and he cried with a loud voice to him that had the sharp sickle, saying: Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vineyard of the earth; because the grapes thereof are ripe.
19 Und der Engel legte seine [scharfe] Sichel an die Erde und sammelte die Ernte vom Weinstock der Erde und schüttete sie ein in die große Kelter des Zornes Gottes.	19 And the angel thrust in his sharp sickle into the earth, and gathered the vineyard of the earth, and cast it into the great press of the wrath of God:
20 Und die Kelter wurde getreten außerßalb der Stadt, und es floß Blut aus der Kelter bis hinan zu den Zügeln der Pferde, sechzehnhundert Stadien weit.	20 And the press was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the press, up to the horses' bridles, for a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
