1 Wenn jemand sündigt dadurch, daß er eine laute Verfluchung hört und Zeuge sein könnte, da er Augenzeuge war oder es sonst in Erfahrung gebracht hat, macht aber keine Anzeige, so daß er schuldig wird -,	1 And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
2 oder jemand berührt etwas Unreines, sei es das Aas eines unreinen wilden Tieres oder das eines unreinen Haustieres oder eines unreinen Kriechtieres, und es entgeht ihm zunächst, so daß er unrein und schuldig wird,	2 Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
3 oder jemand kommt mit der Unreinheit eines Menschen in Berührung, mit irgendeiner Unreinheit, durch die man unrein werden kann, ohne es zu wissen, wird es dann aber inne, so daß er in Schuld gerät,	3 Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
4 oder jemand schwört in unbedachter Rede, etwas Böses oder Gutes zu tun, wie man eben unbesonnen schwören kann, ohne daran zu denken, bemerkt es aber danach, so daß er sich mit derartigem schuldig macht,	4 Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
5 wenn also jemand durch etwas Derartiges in Schuld gerät, soll er bekennen, wessen er sich schuldig gemacht,	5 And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
6 und er bringe als Buße für die begangene Verfehlung dem Herrn ein weibliches Tier vom Kleinvieh, ein Lamm oder eine Ziege, als Sündopfer dar; der Priester soll ihm Sühne verschaffen wegen seines Vergehens.	6 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
7 Wenn aber jemand den Preis für ein Schaf nicht aufbringt, so bringe er dem Herrn als Buße für seine Verfehlung zwei Turteltauben oder zwei junge Tauben dar, die eine als Sündopfer, die andere als Brandopfer.	7 And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
8 Er soll sie zum Priester tragen; dieser bringe die zum Sündopfer bestimmte Taube zuerst dar und knicke ihr dicht vor dem Genick den Kopf ab, ohne ihn abzutrennen.	8 And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
9 Dann sprenge er von dem Blut des Sündopfers an die Wand des Altares; der Rest des Blutes aber werde an den Sockel des Altares ausgepreßt, denn es ist ein Sündopfer.	9 And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
10 Die andere Taube aber verwende er vorschriftsmäßig als Brandopfer. So soll der Priester für ihn Sühne schaffen wegen des Vergehens, dessen er sich schuldig gemacht hat, und es wird ihm Verzeihung zuteil.	10 And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
11 Wenn er aber zwei Turteltauben oder zwei junge Tauben nicht aufbringt, so bringe er als Opfergabe für sein Vergehen ein Zehntel Epha Mehl als Sündopfer dar; er gieße kein Öl darauf und tue keinen Weihrauch dazu - denn es ist ein Sündopfer.	11 But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
12 Er bringe es zum Priester; dieser hebe eine reichliche Handvoll davon ab als dessen duftenden Teil und lasse es auf dem Altar über den Feueropfern des Herrn in Rauch aufgehen - denn es ist ein Sündopfer.	12 Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
13 So schafft der Priester für ihn Sühne wegen des Vergehens, dessen er sich bei irgendeinem Anlaß schuldig gemacht hat, und es wird ihm Verzeihung zuteil. Der Rest soll wie beim Speiseopfer dem Priester gehören."	13 And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.
14 Der Herr redete zu Moses:	14 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
15 "Wenn jemand etwas veruntreut und sich versehentlich an den Abgaben für den Herrn versündigt, dann bringe er dem Herrn als Buße einen fehlerlosen Widder von seinem Kleinvieh, der nach deiner Schätzung zwei Silbersekel heiligen Gewichtes wert ist, als Schuldopfer dar.	15 If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:
16 Was er dem Heiligtum entzogen hat, soll er zurückerstatten, noch ein Fünftel davon hinzulegen und es dem Priester geben. Der Priester schaffe Sühne für ihn mit dem Widder des Schuldopfers, und es wird ihm Verzeihung zuteil.	16 And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
17 Vergeht sich jemand, übertritt er unbewußt eines der Gebote des Herrn in Dingen, die nicht getan werden dürfen, und gerät er so in Schuld und lädt Sünde auf sich,	17 And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
18 dann bringe er als Schuldopfer einen fehlerlosen Widder vom Kleinvieh nach deiner Schätzung zum Priester. Dieser soll ihm Sühne schaffen wegen des Verstoßes, den er unbewußt begangen hat; es wird ihm Verzeihung zuteil.	18 And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.
19 Ein Schuldopfer ist es, hat er sich doch gegen den Herrn verfehlt."	19 It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.
20 Der Herr sprach zu Moses:
21 "Wenn jemand sich vergeht und sich einer Veruntreuung gegen den Herrn schuldig macht, indem er gegenüber seinem Nächsten etwas Anvertrautes, Hinterlegtes oder Geraubtes ableugnet oder seinen Nächsten erpreßt
22 oder bestreitet, daß er etwas Verlorenes gefunden, oder einen Meineid geschworen hat wegen irgendeiner Handlung, deretwegen sich ein Mann vergehen kann,
23 wer so gesündigt hat und schuldig ist, gebe das Geraubte zurück, das er an sich genommen, das Erpreßte, das er erzwungen, das Verwahrte, das man ihm anvertraut, das Verlorene, das er gefunden,
24 oder alles, worum er den Meineid geschworen hat. Er muß es nach seinem vollen Wert ersetzen und noch ein Fünftel dazulegen; er soll es am Tage seines Schuldopfers dem Eigentümer erstatten.
25 Als seine Buße für den Herrn bringe er zum Priester einen fehlerlosen Widder vom Kleinvieh nach deiner Schätzung als Schuldopfer.
26 Der Priester soll für ihn Sühne schaffen vor dem Herrn, und es wird ihm jeweils die betreffende Untat vergeben, durch die er sich verschuldet hat."
