1 [Hallelujah!] - Lobt den Herrn vom Himmel her, lobt ihn in den Höhen!	1 Praise ye the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise.
2 Lobt ihn, all seine Engel, lobt ihn, all seine Heerscharen!	2 The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.
3 Lobt ihn, Sonne und Mond, lobt ihn, ihr leuchtenden Sterne alle!	3 Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.
4 Lobt ihn, ihr höchsten Himmel und ihr Wasser über dem Himmel!	4 Who telleth the number of the stars: and calleth them all by their names.
5 Den Namen des Herrn sollen sie loben; denn er gebot, und sie waren erschaffen.	5 Great is our Lord, and great is his power: and of his wisdom there is no number.
6 Er stellte sie hin für immer und ewig; er gab ein Gesetz, das niemals vergeht.	6 The Lord lifteth up the meek, and bringeth the wicked down even to the ground.
7 Lobt den Herrn von der Erde her, ihr Meeresdrachen und ihr Tiefen alle!	7 Sing ye to the Lord with praise: sing to our God upon the harp.
8 Feuer und Hagel, Schnee und Nebel, du Sturmwind, der sein Wort vollzieht!	8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Who maketh grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men.
9 Berge und all ihr Hügel, Fruchtbäume und Zedern insgesamt!	9 Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.
10 Wilde Tiere und alles Vieh, Kriechtiere und beschwingte Vögel!	10 He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.
11 Ihr Könige der Erde und alle Völker, Fürsten und alle Richter der Erde!	11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him: and in them that hope in his mercy.
12 Jünglinge und auch ihr Jungfrauen, Greise mitsamt den Kindern!
13 Den Namen des Herrn sollen sie loben! Denn erhaben ist sein Name allein! Seine Hoheit geht über Erde und Himmel.
14 Seinem Volk verlieh er Stärke und Macht. - Ein Lobgesang für all seine Frommen, für Israels Söhne, das Volk, das ihm nahen darf. - [Hallelujah!]
