Ezekiel 34

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 E disse Iddio a me:
2 'Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, "Shepherds, theLord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Are not shepherdsmeant to feed a flock?	2 O figliuolo d' uomo, profeta de' pastori d' Israel; profeta, e dirai alli pastori: questo dice lo Signore Iddio guai a' pastori d' Israel, i quali pascevano s medesimi; or non sono pasciute le greggie da' pastori?
3 Yet you have fed on milk, you have dressed yourselves in wool, you have sacrificed the fattest sheep,but failed to feed the flock.	3 Voi manicavate lo latte, e coprivatevi di lana, e la bestia ch' era grassa voi uccidevate; e la mia greggia non pascevate.
4 You have failed to make weak sheep strong, or to care for the sick ones, or bandage the injured ones.You have failed to bring back strays or look for the lost. On the contrary, you have ruled them cruel y andharshly.	4 E non consolidaste quello animale ch' era infermo, e quello ch' era infermo non sanaste, e quello ch' era rotto non legaste, e quello ch' era gittato non ricoglieste, e quello ch' era perso non cercaste; ma (inanzi) comandavate loro con (grande) austerità e con potenza.
5 For lack of a shepherd they have been scattered, to become the prey of al the wild animals; they havebeen scattered.	5 E le mie pecore sono disperse, però che non ci fu pastore; e sono fatte a divoramento di tutte le (fiere) bestie del campo, e sono disperse.
6 My flock is astray on every mountain and on every high hil ; my flock has been scattered al over theworld; no one bothers about them and no one looks for them.	6 Le mie greggie errarono in tutti li monti e in ogni colle alto e sopra ogni faccia della terra; e non era chi le richiedesse.
7 "Very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	7 E però, o pastori, udite la parola di Dio:
8 As I live, I swear it -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- since my flock has been pil aged and for lack of ashepherd is now the prey of every wild animal, since my shepherds have ceased to bother about my flock, sincemy shepherds feed themselves rather than my flock,	8 Io vivo, dice lo Signore Iddio, però che le mie greggie sono venute in rapina, e le mie pecore in divoramento di tutte le bestie del campo, però che non ci è pastore, e li pastori non addimandarono la mia greggia, ma li pastori pasceano sè medesimi, e non pasceano la mia greggia;
9 very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	9 e però, pastori, udite la parola di Dio:
10 The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against the shepherds. I shall take my flock out of theircharge and henceforth not al ow them to feed my flock. And the shepherds will stop feeding themselves,because I shal rescue my sheep from their mouths to stop them from being food for them.	10 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ecco me sopra li pastori, io richiederò la mia greggia della loro mano, e farolli cessare acciò che non pascano più la mia greggia, e li pastori non pascano più sè medesimi; e libererò la mia greggia della loro bocca, e non sarà più loro in esca.
11 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shal take care of my flock and look after it.	11 Però che questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ecco, io medesimo richiederò le mie pecore, e visiterolle.
12 As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shal I look after mysheep. I shal rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness.	12 Sì come visita lo pastore la sua greggia,,nel di quando sarà fatto nel mezzo delle pecore dispartite; così visiterò io le mie pecore (e visiterolle), e leverolle di tutti i luoghi ne' quali furono disperse nel dì del nuvolo e della oscuritade.
13 I shal bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shal gather them back from the countriesand bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in althe inhabited parts of the country.	13 E menerolle de' popoli, e radunerolle della terra sua; e pascerolle nelli monti e nelli rivi d' Israel, e in tutte le sedie della terra.
14 I shal feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground.There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel.	14 E pascerolle nelle pasture (gratissime e) abbondevoli, e le loro pasture saranno nelli alti monti d' Israel; e quivi si riposeranno nell' erbe fresche, e pasceranno nelle pasture grasse sopra li monti d'Israel.
15 I myself shal pasture my sheep, I myself shal give them rest -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	15 Io pascerò le mie pecore, io le farò andare allo riposo del dormire, dice lo Signore Iddio.
16 I shal look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. Ishall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them.	16 E cercherò (per) quello ch' era perduto, e quello ch' era gittato rimenerò alla casa, e rilegherò quello ch' era (sciolto e) rotto, e quello ch' era infermo io farò sano, e quello che sarà grasso e forte guarderò; e pascerollo nel giudicio.
17 "As for you, my sheep, the Lord Yahweh says this: I shall judge between sheep and sheep, betweenrams and he-goats.	17 E voi, greggie mie, (siete) questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ecco io farò giudicio tra pecora e pecora, e tra montone e montone.
18 Not content to drink the clearest of the water, you foul the rest with your feet.	18 Or non era assai a voi di pascere le buone pasture? e lo residuo delle pasture conculcaste coi piedi vostri; e conciosia cosa che voi beveste purissime acque (e nette), lo rimanente di quelle acque voi intorbidaste colli piedi.
19 And my sheep must graze on what your feet have trampled and drink what your feet have fouled.	19 E le mie pecore si pascevano di quelle cose che voi avevate conculcato; e quello che voi turbavate colli vostri piedi, quello beveano.
20 Very wel , the Lord Yahweh says this: I myself shall judge between the fat sheep and the thin sheep.	20 Però questo dice lo Signore Iddio a voi: ecco io medesimo giudico fra pecora grassa e macilenta.
21 Since you have jostled with flank and shoulder and butted al the ailing sheep with your horns, untilyou have scattered them outside,	21 Però che voi le perseguitavi da ogni lato, e ventolavate con le vostre corna tutte le pecore inferme, acciò che si disperdessero.
22 I shal come and save my sheep and stop them from being victimised. I shal judge between sheepand sheep.	22 Io salverò la mia greggia, e non sarà oltre [in] rapina; e io giudicherò tra pecora e pecora.
23 "I shal raise up one shepherd, my servant David, and put him in charge of them to pasture them; hewil pasture them and be their shepherd.	23 E risusciterò sopra loro uno pastore lo quale pasca loro, cioè lo mio servo David; egli pascerà quelle, egli sarà loro pastore.
24 I, Yahweh, shal be their God, and my servant David wil be ruler among them. I, Yahweh, havespoken.	24 E io Signore sarò loro Iddio, e lo mio servo David sarà principe nel mezzo di loro; e io Signore hoe parlato.
25 I shal make a covenant of peace with them; I shal rid the country of wild animals. They wil be ableto live secure in the desert and go to sleep in the woods.	25 E farò con loro lo patto della pace, e farò cessare le bestie pessime della terra; e quelli che àbitano nel deserto, dormiranno securi ne' salti, (che tanto è a dire, quanto bestie salvatiche).
26 I shal settle them round my hil ; I shall send rain at the proper time; it wil be a rain of blessings.	26 E porrolli Lel circuito del mio colle in benedizione, e farò venire lo vento acquaio nel suo tempo (cioè convenevole); e saranno piove di benedizione.
27 The trees of the countryside wil yield their fruit and the soil wil yield its produce; they will be secureon their soil. And they wil know that I am Yahweh when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from theclutches of their slave-masters.	27 E l' arbore del campo darà lo suo frutto, e la terra darà li suoi germogli, e saranno nella sua terra sanza paura; e sapranno ch' io sono Iddio, quando io averò spezzate le catene dello loro giogo, e averolli liberati delle mani del signore loro.
28 No more wil they be a prey to the nations, no more wil the wild animals of the country devour them.They wil live secure, with no one to frighten them.	28 E non saranno più in rapina alle genti, e le bestie della terra non li divoreranno; e abiteranno fidatamente sanza niuna paura.
29 I shal make splendid vegetation grow for them; no more wil they suffer from famine in the country;no more will they have to bear the insults of other nations.	29 E risusciterò loro lo germoglio (giusto e) nominato; e non saranno più mancati di fame nella terra, e nè porteranno più vituperii delle genti.
30 So they wil know that I, their God, am with them and that they, the House of Israel, are my people --declares the Lord Yahweh.	30 E sapranno ch' io sono lo Signore loro, ed egli mio popolo, casa d' Israel, dice lo Signore (loro) Iddio.
31 And you, my sheep, are the flock of my human pasture, and I am your God -- declares the LordYahweh." '	31 Ma voi siete mie greggie della mia pastura, e siete uomini; io sono lo vostro Iddio, dice lo Signore Iddio.
