Ezekiel 34

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 E la parola dell’Eterno mi fu rivolta in questi termini:
2 'Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, "Shepherds, theLord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Are not shepherdsmeant to feed a flock?	2 "igliuol d’uomo, profetizza contro i pastori d’Israele; profetizza, e di’ a quei pastori: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Guai ai pastori d’Israele, che non han fatto se non pascer se stessi! Non è forse il gregge quello che i pastori debbon pascere?
3 Yet you have fed on milk, you have dressed yourselves in wool, you have sacrificed the fattest sheep,but failed to feed the flock.	3 Voi mangiate il latte, vi vestite della lana, ammazzate ciò ch’è ingrassato, ma non pascete il gregge.
4 You have failed to make weak sheep strong, or to care for the sick ones, or bandage the injured ones.You have failed to bring back strays or look for the lost. On the contrary, you have ruled them cruel y andharshly.	4 Voi non avete fortificato le pecore deboli, non avete guarito la malata, non avete fasciato quella ch’era ferita, non avete ricondotto la smarrita, non avete cercato la perduta, ma avete dominato su loro con violenza e con asprezza.
5 For lack of a shepherd they have been scattered, to become the prey of al the wild animals; they havebeen scattered.	5 Ed esse, per mancanza di pastore, si sono disperse, son diventate pasto a tutte le fiere dei campi, e si sono disperse.
6 My flock is astray on every mountain and on every high hil ; my flock has been scattered al over theworld; no one bothers about them and no one looks for them.	6 Le mie pecore vanno errando per tutti i monti e per ogni alto colle; le mie pecore si disperdono su tutta la faccia del paese, e non v’è alcuno che ne domandi, alcuno che le cerchi!
7 "Very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	7 Perciò, o pastori, ascoltate la parola dell’Eterno!
8 As I live, I swear it -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- since my flock has been pil aged and for lack of ashepherd is now the prey of every wild animal, since my shepherds have ceased to bother about my flock, sincemy shepherds feed themselves rather than my flock,	8 Com’è vero ch’io vivo, dice il Signore, l’Eterno, poiché le mie pecore sono abbandonate alla rapina; poiché le mie pecore, essendo senza pastore, servon di pasto a tutte le fiere de’ campi, e i miei pastori non cercano le mie pecore; poiché i pastori pascon se stessi e non pascono le mie pecore,
9 very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	9 perciò, ascoltate, o pastori, la parola dell’Eterno!
10 The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against the shepherds. I shall take my flock out of theircharge and henceforth not al ow them to feed my flock. And the shepherds will stop feeding themselves,because I shal rescue my sheep from their mouths to stop them from being food for them.	10 Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Eccomi contro i pastori; io ridomanderò le mie pecore alle loro mani; li farò cessare dal pascere le pecore; i pastori non pasceranno più se stessi; io strapperò le mie pecore dalla loro bocca, ed esse non serviran più loro di pasto.
11 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shal take care of my flock and look after it.	11 Poiché, così dice il Signore, l’Eterno: Eccomi! io stesso domanderò delle mie pecore, e ne andrò in cerca.
12 As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shal I look after mysheep. I shal rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness.	12 Come un pastore va in cerca del suo gregge il giorno che si trova in mezzo alle sue pecore disperse, così io andrò in cerca delle mie pecore, e le ritrarrò da tutti i luoghi dove sono state disperse in un giorno di nuvole e di tenebre;
13 I shal bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shal gather them back from the countriesand bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in althe inhabited parts of the country.	13 e le trarrò di fra i popoli e le radunerò dai diversi paesi, e le ricondurrò sul loro suolo, e le pascerò sui monti d’Israele, lungo i ruscelli e in tutti i luoghi abitati del paese.
14 I shal feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground.There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel.	14 Io le pascerò in buoni pascoli, e i loro ovili saranno sugli alti monti d’Israele; esse riposeranno quivi in buoni ovili, e pascoleranno in grassi pascoli sui monti d’Israele.
15 I myself shal pasture my sheep, I myself shal give them rest -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	15 Io stesso pascerò le mie pecore, e io stesso le farò riposare, dice il Signore, l’Eterno.
16 I shal look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. Ishall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them.	16 Io cercherò la perduta, ricondurrò la smarrita, fascerò la ferita, fortificherò la malata, ma distruggerò la grassa e la forte: io le pascerò con giustizia
17 "As for you, my sheep, the Lord Yahweh says this: I shall judge between sheep and sheep, betweenrams and he-goats.	17 E quant’è a voi, o pecore mie, così dice il Signore, l’Eterno: Ecco, io giudicherò fra pecora e pecora, fra montoni e capri.
18 Not content to drink the clearest of the water, you foul the rest with your feet.	18 Vi par egli troppo poco il pascolar in questo buon pascolo, che abbiate a pestare co’ piedi ciò che rimane del vostro pascolo? il bere le acque più chiare, che abbiate a intorbidare co’ piedi quel che ne resta?
19 And my sheep must graze on what your feet have trampled and drink what your feet have fouled.	19 E le mie pecore hanno per pascolo quello che i vostri piedi han calpestato; e devono bere, ciò che i vostri piedi hanno intorbidato!
20 Very wel , the Lord Yahweh says this: I myself shall judge between the fat sheep and the thin sheep.	20 Perciò, così dice loro il Signore, l’Eterno: Eccomi, io stesso giudicherò fra la pecora grassa e la pecora magra.
21 Since you have jostled with flank and shoulder and butted al the ailing sheep with your horns, untilyou have scattered them outside,	21 Siccome voi avete spinto col fianco e con la spalla e avete cozzato con le corna tutte le pecore deboli finché non le avete disperse e cacciate fuori,
22 I shal come and save my sheep and stop them from being victimised. I shal judge between sheepand sheep.	22 io salverò le mie pecore, ed esse non saranno più abbandonate alla rapina; e giudicherò fra pecora e pecora.
23 "I shal raise up one shepherd, my servant David, and put him in charge of them to pasture them; hewil pasture them and be their shepherd.	23 E susciterò sopra d’esse un solo pastore, che le pascolerà: il mio servo Davide; egli le pascolerà, egli sarà il loro pastore.
24 I, Yahweh, shal be their God, and my servant David wil be ruler among them. I, Yahweh, havespoken.	24 E io, l’Eterno, sarò il loro Dio, e il mio servo Davide sarà principe in mezzo a loro. Io, l’Eterno, son quegli che ho parlato.
25 I shal make a covenant of peace with them; I shal rid the country of wild animals. They wil be ableto live secure in the desert and go to sleep in the woods.	25 E fermerò con esse un patto di pace; farò sparire le male bestie dal paese, e le mie pecore dimoreranno al sicuro nel deserto e dormiranno nelle foreste.
26 I shal settle them round my hil ; I shall send rain at the proper time; it wil be a rain of blessings.	26 E farò ch’esse e i luoghi attorno al mio colle saranno una benedizione; farò scenderà la pioggia a sua tempo, e saran piogge di benedizione.
27 The trees of the countryside wil yield their fruit and the soil wil yield its produce; they will be secureon their soil. And they wil know that I am Yahweh when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from theclutches of their slave-masters.	27 L’albero dei campi darà il suo frutto, e la terra darà i suoi prodotti. Esse staranno al sicuro sul loro suolo, e conosceranno che io sono l’Eterno, quando spezzerò le sbarre del loro giogo e le libererò dalla mano di quelli che le tenevano schiave.
28 No more wil they be a prey to the nations, no more wil the wild animals of the country devour them.They wil live secure, with no one to frighten them.	28 E non saranno più preda alle nazioni; le fiere dei campi non le divoreranno più, ma se ne staranno al sicuro, senza che nessuno più le spaventi.
29 I shal make splendid vegetation grow for them; no more wil they suffer from famine in the country;no more will they have to bear the insults of other nations.	29 E farò sorgere per loro una vegetazione, che le farà salire in fama; e non saranno più consumate dalla fame nel paese, e non porteranno più l’obbrobrio delle nazioni.
30 So they wil know that I, their God, am with them and that they, the House of Israel, are my people --declares the Lord Yahweh.	30 E conosceranno che io, l’Eterno, l’Iddio loro, sono con esse, e che esse, la casa d’Israele, sono il mio popolo, dice il Signore, l’Eterno.
31 And you, my sheep, are the flock of my human pasture, and I am your God -- declares the LordYahweh." '	31 E voi, pecore mie, pecore del mio pascolo, siete uomini, e io sono il vostro Dio, dice l’Eterno"
