Ezekiel 34

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 Il Signore mi parlò e mi disse:
2 'Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, "Shepherds, theLord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Are not shepherdsmeant to feed a flock?	2 « Figlio dell'uomo, profetizza intorno ai pastori d'Israele, profetizza e di' a questi pastori: Queste cose dice il Signore Dio: Guai ai pastori d'Israele, i quali pascono se stessi. Non sono i greggi che son pasciuti dai pastori?
3 Yet you have fed on milk, you have dressed yourselves in wool, you have sacrificed the fattest sheep,but failed to feed the flock.	3 Voi invece a cibarvi del latte, a rivestirvi delle lane, a uccidere il gregge' grasso; ma il mio gregge non l'avete pasciuto.
4 You have failed to make weak sheep strong, or to care for the sick ones, or bandage the injured ones.You have failed to bring back strays or look for the lost. On the contrary, you have ruled them cruel y andharshly.	4 Non fortificaste il debole, non risanaste il malato, non legaste il fracassato, non faceste ritornare lo scacciato, non andaste a cercare il perduto; ma esercitaste il dominio con rigore e crudeltà.
5 For lack of a shepherd they have been scattered, to become the prey of al the wild animals; they havebeen scattered.	5 Le mie pecorelle si son disperse, perchè eran senza pastore, e son divenute preda di tutte le bestie del bosco, e si son disperse.
6 My flock is astray on every mountain and on every high hil ; my flock has been scattered al over theworld; no one bothers about them and no one looks for them.	6 I miei greggi errarono per tutti i monti, per tutte le alte colline, su tutta la faccia della terra sono stati dispersi i miei greggi, e nessuno se ne dette cura, nessuno dico, andò a cercarli.
7 "Very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	7 Per questo udito, o pastori, ascoltate la parola del Signore,
8 As I live, I swear it -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- since my flock has been pil aged and for lack of ashepherd is now the prey of every wild animal, since my shepherds have ceased to bother about my flock, sincemy shepherds feed themselves rather than my flock,	8 Io sono il Vivente — dice il Signore Dio: — perchè i miei greggi sono stati abbandonati alla rapina, le mie pecorelle ad esser divorate da tutte le bestie del bosco, non essendovi pastore, e perchè i miei pastori non han pensato al gregge, ed han pasciuto se stessi, senza pascere il mio gregge,
9 very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	9 per questo, o pastori, udite la parola del Signore:
10 The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against the shepherds. I shall take my flock out of theircharge and henceforth not al ow them to feed my flock. And the shepherds will stop feeding themselves,because I shal rescue my sheep from their mouths to stop them from being food for them.	10 Così parla il Signored Dio: Ecco io stesso farò l'uomo addosso ai pastori, e chiederò loro conto del mio gregge, e li toglierò da pascere il mio gregge, così i pastori non pasceranno più se stessi; io toglierò il mio gregge dalla loro bocca, e non sarà più loro cibo.
11 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shal take care of my flock and look after it.	11 Ed ora ecco quanto dice il Signore: Ecco io stesso andrò in cerca delle mie pecorelle, le visiterò,
12 As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shal I look after mysheep. I shal rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness.	12 come il pastore conta il suo gregge, quando si trova in mezzo alle sue pecorelle ch'eran disperse, così io conterò le mie pecorelle e le menerò via da tutti i luoghi in cui furon disperse, nel giorno dei nuvoli e della caligine,
13 I shal bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shal gather them back from the countriesand bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in althe inhabited parts of the country.	13 io le porterò via di mezzo ai popoli, le riunirò dalle varie regioni, le condurrò nella loro terra, le pascerò sui monti d'Israele, lungo i rivi in tutti i luoghi abitati del paese.
14 I shal feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground.There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel.	14 Le menerò in ottimi pascoli, i loro pascoli saranno sugli alti monti d'Israele; ivi riposeranno sulle erbette verdeggianti, si satolleranno negli ubertosi pascoli, sulle montagne d'Israele.
15 I myself shal pasture my sheep, I myself shal give them rest -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	15 Io pascerò le mie pecorelle, io le farò riposare — dice il Signore Dio.
16 I shal look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. Ishall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them.	16 Io andrò in corca delle smarrite, ricondurrò le cacciate, legherò le fratturate, ristorerò le deboli, terrò d'occhio quelle grasse e robuste, e le pascerò con giustizia.
17 "As for you, my sheep, the Lord Yahweh says this: I shall judge between sheep and sheep, betweenrams and he-goats.	17 Ma a voi, greggi miei, queste cose dice il Signore Dio: Eccomi a giudicare tra pecore e pecore, tra arieti e capri.
18 Not content to drink the clearest of the water, you foul the rest with your feet.	18 Non vi basta satollarvi in ottimi pascoli? Voi aggiungete di calpestar coi piedi gli avanzi di vostra pastura, e, bevuta l'acqua limpida, coi vostri piedi intorbidate quella che resta;
19 And my sheep must graze on what your feet have trampled and drink what your feet have fouled.	19 e poi le mie pecorelle devono mangiare la roba pestata dai vostri piedi, bere l'acqua intorbidata dai vostri piedi.
20 Very wel , the Lord Yahweh says this: I myself shall judge between the fat sheep and the thin sheep.	20 Per questo, così vi dice il Signore Dio: Eccomi a giudicare tra il gregge grasso e il magro.
21 Since you have jostled with flank and shoulder and butted al the ailing sheep with your horns, untilyou have scattered them outside,	21 Siccome voi avete urtato coi fianchi e colle spalle, e infilato coi vostri corni tutte le pecore deboli, finché non le avete cacciate via,
22 I shal come and save my sheep and stop them from being victimised. I shal judge between sheepand sheep.	22 io salverò il mio gregge, che non sarà più depredato, e giudicherò tra pecore e pecore.
23 "I shal raise up one shepherd, my servant David, and put him in charge of them to pasture them; hewil pasture them and be their shepherd.	23 Io loro susciterò un sol pastore, a pascerle, il mio servo David: egli le pascerà, egli sarà il loro pastore;
24 I, Yahweh, shal be their God, and my servant David wil be ruler among them. I, Yahweh, havespoken.	24 ed io, il Signore, sarò loro Dio, e il mio servo David sarà principe in mezzo ad esse: io, il Signore, ho parlato.
25 I shal make a covenant of peace with them; I shal rid the country of wild animals. They wil be ableto live secure in the desert and go to sleep in the woods.	25 E con essi farò alleanza di pace, e sterminerò dalla loro terra le bestie feroci e quelli che stanno nel deserto dormiranno tranquilli nei boschi.
26 I shal settle them round my hil ; I shall send rain at the proper time; it wil be a rain of blessings.	26 E li renderò una benedizione intorno al mio monte, e manderò a suo tempo la pioggia, e le pioggie saranno di benedizione.
27 The trees of the countryside wil yield their fruit and the soil wil yield its produce; they will be secureon their soil. And they wil know that I am Yahweh when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from theclutches of their slave-masters.	27 Gli alberi della campagna produrranno il loro frutto, e la terra darà i suoi prodotti. Staranno nella loro terra senza timore, e conosceranno ch'io sono il Signore, quando, spezzate le catene del loro giogo, li avrò sottratti al potere di coloro che li dominavano.
28 No more wil they be a prey to the nations, no more wil the wild animals of the country devour them.They wil live secure, with no one to frighten them.	28 E non saranno più preda delle nazioni, non saran più divorati dalle bestie della terra, ma riposeranno tranquilli senza alcun timore.
29 I shal make splendid vegetation grow for them; no more wil they suffer from famine in the country;no more will they have to bear the insults of other nations.	29 E farò spuntare per essi il germe rinomato, e non saran più consunti dalla fame nella loro terra, non porteranno più l'obbrobrio delle nazioni,
30 So they wil know that I, their God, am with them and that they, the House of Israel, are my people --declares the Lord Yahweh.	30 e conosceranno che io, il Signore Dio loro, son con essi, ed essi, la casa d'Israele saranno il mio popolo — dice il Signore Dio. —
31 And you, my sheep, are the flock of my human pasture, and I am your God -- declares the LordYahweh." '	31 Le mie pecore, il gregge da me pasciuto siete voi, o uomini, ed io sono il Signore Dio vostro — dice il Signore Dio ».
