Ezekiel 34

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 Mi giunse la parola del Signore:
2 'Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, "Shepherds, theLord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Are not shepherdsmeant to feed a flock?	2 "Figlio dell'uomo, profetizza contro i pastori d'Israele: profetizza e di' loro: O pastori, così dice Dio, mio Signore: Guai ai pastori d'Israele che si sono dimostrati pastori di se stessi. I pastori non pascolano forse le pecore?
3 Yet you have fed on milk, you have dressed yourselves in wool, you have sacrificed the fattest sheep,but failed to feed the flock.	3 Voi invece con il latte vi cibate, con la lana vi vestite, la pecora grassa l'uccidete. Voi non pascolate le pecore!
4 You have failed to make weak sheep strong, or to care for the sick ones, or bandage the injured ones.You have failed to bring back strays or look for the lost. On the contrary, you have ruled them cruel y andharshly.	4 Non avete ridato forza alle indebolite, non avete guarito le malate, non avete fasciato quelle che si sono fratturate e non avete richiamato quelle che si sono allontanate, non avete cercato quelle perdute; le avete oppresse con la forza e la brutalità.
5 For lack of a shepherd they have been scattered, to become the prey of al the wild animals; they havebeen scattered.	5 Si sono disperse quindi per mancanza di pastore e sono diventate pasto d'ogni animale della campagna. Le mie pecore sono disperse
6 My flock is astray on every mountain and on every high hil ; my flock has been scattered al over theworld; no one bothers about them and no one looks for them.	6 e vagano per tutti i monti e i colli elevati; le mie pecore si sono disperse su tutta la faccia della terra e non ci fu chi indagasse, chi andasse a cercarle.
7 "Very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	7 Perciò, o pastori, ascoltate la parola del Signore.
8 As I live, I swear it -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- since my flock has been pil aged and for lack of ashepherd is now the prey of every wild animal, since my shepherds have ceased to bother about my flock, sincemy shepherds feed themselves rather than my flock,	8 Per la mia vita, oracolo di Dio, mio Signore, le mie pecore sono divenute bottino, sono state date in pasto a tutti gli animali della campagna per mancanza di pastore! I miei pastori non sono andati a cercare le mie pecore; i pastori hanno pascolato se stessi ma le mie pecore non le hanno pascolate.
9 very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	9 Perciò, o pastori, ascoltate la parola del Signore.
10 The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against the shepherds. I shall take my flock out of theircharge and henceforth not al ow them to feed my flock. And the shepherds will stop feeding themselves,because I shal rescue my sheep from their mouths to stop them from being food for them.	10 Così dice Dio, mio Signore: Eccomi contro i pastori! Chiederò loro conto delle mie pecore e li farò smettere di pascolare le pecore; quei pastori non le pascoleranno più e farò scampare le mie pecore dalla loro bocca, onde non siano più in pasto a loro.
11 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shal take care of my flock and look after it.	11 Sì, così dice Dio, mio Signore: Ecco, io stesso andrò in cerca delle mie pecore e le visiterò nella loro dispersione.
12 As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shal I look after mysheep. I shal rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness.	12 Com'è l'ispezione del gregge da parte del pastore, quando è in mezzo alle sue pecore che si sono disperse, così passerò in rassegna le mie pecore e le trarrò in salvo da ogni luogo dove furono disseminate in giorni nuvolosi e tenebrosi.
13 I shal bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shal gather them back from the countriesand bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in althe inhabited parts of the country.	13 Le farò uscire di tra i popoli, le radunerò dai vari paesi, le condurrò alla loro terra, le farò pascolare sui monti d'Israele, nelle gole e in tutti i luoghi abitati del paese.
14 I shal feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground.There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel.	14 In ottimi pascoli le pascolerò, i loro stazzi saranno sui monti alti d'Israele, là se ne staranno, in un buon recinto, e pascoleranno in pascoli grassi sui monti d'Israele.
15 I myself shal pasture my sheep, I myself shal give them rest -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	15 Sarò io a condurre al pascolo le mie pecore e a radunarle, oracolo di Dio, mio Signore.
16 I shal look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. Ishall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them.	16 Quella che s'è perduta l'andrò a cercare, quella che s'è allontanata la farò tornare, quella che s'è fratturata la fascerò, quella ammalata la farò ristabilire; veglierò sulla grassa e sulla robusta! Le pascolerò come si deve.
17 "As for you, my sheep, the Lord Yahweh says this: I shall judge between sheep and sheep, betweenrams and he-goats.	17 Quanto a voi, mie pecore, così dice Dio, mio Signore: Badate! Giudicherò pecora e pecora, tra montoni e capri.
18 Not content to drink the clearest of the water, you foul the rest with your feet.	18 Vi sembra poco pascolare nel buon pascolo e poi pestare con i piedi il rimanente del vostro pascolo, bere alle acque limpide e poi quel che rimane intorbidarlo con le zampe?
19 And my sheep must graze on what your feet have trampled and drink what your feet have fouled.	19 Le mie pecore, così, devono pascolare ciò che le vostre zampe hanno pestato e bere ciò che i vostri piedi hanno intorbidito.
20 Very wel , the Lord Yahweh says this: I myself shall judge between the fat sheep and the thin sheep.	20 Perciò così dice Dio, mio Signore, a loro riguardo: Badate! Giudicherò tra pecora grassa e pecora magra.
21 Since you have jostled with flank and shoulder and butted al the ailing sheep with your horns, untilyou have scattered them outside,	21 Poiché date spintoni col fianco e col dorso e ferite con le cornate tutte quelle deboli fino a disperderle per la strada,
22 I shal come and save my sheep and stop them from being victimised. I shal judge between sheepand sheep.	22 io salverò le mie pecore; non saranno più un bottino e giudicherò tra una pecora e l'altra.
23 "I shal raise up one shepherd, my servant David, and put him in charge of them to pasture them; hewil pasture them and be their shepherd.	23 Farò sorgere per loro finalmente un pastore che le pascolerà: il mio servo Davide. Egli sì che le pascolerà; egli sarà il loro pastore!
24 I, Yahweh, shal be their God, and my servant David wil be ruler among them. I, Yahweh, havespoken.	24 E io, il Signore, sarò il loro Dio e il mio servo Davide sarà principe in mezzo a loro; io, il Signore, ho parlato.
25 I shal make a covenant of peace with them; I shal rid the country of wild animals. They wil be ableto live secure in the desert and go to sleep in the woods.	25 Stipulerò con esse un patto di pace e farò sparire le bestie cattive dalla terra. Abiteranno al sicuro persino nel deserto, potranno dormire anche nelle foreste.
26 I shal settle them round my hil ; I shall send rain at the proper time; it wil be a rain of blessings.	26 Darò la benedizione a loro, tutt'attorno al mio colle, e farò scendere a suo tempo le piogge; saranno piogge benedette.
27 The trees of the countryside wil yield their fruit and the soil wil yield its produce; they will be secureon their soil. And they wil know that I am Yahweh when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from theclutches of their slave-masters.	27 Gli alberi della campagna daranno il loro frutto, la terra produrrà i suoi prodotti; staranno al sicuro nella loro terra e riconosceranno che io sono il Signore, quando romperò le sbarre del loro giogo e le farò scampare dalle mani di quelli che le tiranneggiano.
28 No more wil they be a prey to the nations, no more wil the wild animals of the country devour them.They wil live secure, with no one to frighten them.	28 Non saranno più un bottino delle genti, non le mangeranno più le bestie della terra. Abiteranno al sicuro nella terra senza che nessuno le faccia più tremare.
29 I shal make splendid vegetation grow for them; no more wil they suffer from famine in the country;no more will they have to bear the insults of other nations.	29 Farò sorgere per loro una piantagione rinomata, non saranno più prese dalla fame nel paese, non porteranno più la vergogna delle genti.
30 So they wil know that I, their God, am with them and that they, the House of Israel, are my people --declares the Lord Yahweh.	30 Riconosceranno che io sono il Signore, loro Dio, vicino a loro, ed essi saranno il mio popolo, la casa d'Israele. Oracolo di Dio, mio Signore.
31 And you, my sheep, are the flock of my human pasture, and I am your God -- declares the LordYahweh." '	31 Voi siete le mie pecore, le pecore del mio pascolo, e io il Signore, vostro Dio! Oracolo di Dio, mio Signore".
