2 Give to the LORD the glory due God's name. Bow down before the LORD'S holy splendor!	2 tributate al Signore la gloria del suo nome; prostratevi davanti al Signore, alla sua santa apparizione.
3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over the mighty waters.	3 Voce del Signore sulle acque: il Dio della gloria tuonò! Il Signore sulle acque possenti!
4 The voice of the LORD is power; the voice of the LORD is splendor.	4 Voce del Signore vigorosa, voce del Signore maestosa!
5 The voice of the LORD cracks the cedars; the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon,	5 Voce del Signore che schianta cedri: schianta il Signore i cedri del Libano;
6 Makes Lebanon leap like a calf, and Sirion like a young bull.	6 fa balzare il Libano come un vitello, il Sirion come un giovane bufalo.
7 The voice of the LORD strikes with fiery flame;	7 Voce del Signore che forgia lingue di fuoco.
8 the voice of the LORD rocks the desert; the LORD rocks the desert of Kadesh.	8 Voce del Signore che sconvolge il deserto, sconvolge il Signore il deserto di Kades.
9 The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. All in his palace say, "Glory!"	9 Voce del Signore che scuote le querce e le selve denuda... Nel suo tempio ognuno dice: "Gloria!".
