1 הודו ליהוה כי טוב כי לעולם חסדו	1 A Psalm of David: to Jeremiah. Above the rivers of Babylon, there we sat and wept, while we remembered Zion.
2 הודו לאלהי האלהים כי לעולם חסדו	2 By the willow trees, in their midst, we hung up our instruments.
3 הודו לאדני האדנים כי לעולם חסדו	3 For, in that place, those who led us into captivity questioned us about the words of the songs. And those who carried us away said: “Sing us a hymn from the songs of Zion.”
4 לעשה נפלאות גדלות לבדו כי לעולם חסדו	4 How can we sing a song of the Lord in a foreign land?
5 לעשה השמים בתבונה כי לעולם חסדו	5 If I ever forget you, Jerusalem, let my right hand be forgotten.
6 לרקע הארץ על המים כי לעולם חסדו	6 May my tongue adhere to my jaws, if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem first, as the beginning of my joy.
7 לעשה אורים גדלים כי לעולם חסדו	7 O Lord, call to mind the sons of Edom, in the day of Jerusalem, who say: “Despoil it, despoil it, even to its foundation.”
8 את השמש לממשלת ביום כי לעולם חסדו	8 O daughter of Babylon, have pity. Blessed is he who will repay you with your payment, which you have paid to us.
9 את הירח וכוכבים לממשלות בלילה כי לעולם חסדו	9 Blessed is he who will take hold of your little ones and dash them against the rock.
10 למכה מצרים בבכוריהם כי לעולם חסדו
11 ויוצא ישראל מתוכם כי לעולם חסדו
12 ביד חזקה ובזרוע נטויה כי לעולם חסדו
13 לגזר ים סוף לגזרים כי לעולם חסדו
14 והעביר ישראל בתוכו כי לעולם חסדו
15 ונער פרעה וחילו בים סוף כי לעולם חסדו
16 למוליך עמו במדבר כי לעולם חסדו
17 למכה מלכים גדלים כי לעולם חסדו
18 ויהרג מלכים אדירים כי לעולם חסדו
19 לסיחון מלך האמרי כי לעולם חסדו
20 ולעוג מלך הבשן כי לעולם חסדו
21 ונתן ארצם לנחלה כי לעולם חסדו
22 נחלה לישראל עבדו כי לעולם חסדו
23 שבשפלנו זכר לנו כי לעולם חסדו
24 ויפרקנו מצרינו כי לעולם חסדו
25 נתן לחם לכל בשר כי לעולם חסדו
26 הודו לאל השמים כי לעולם חסדו
