1 Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied,singet dem HERRN, alle Lande!	1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Singt dem HERRN, preist seinen Namen,verkündet Tag für Tag sein Heil!	2 Sing to the LORD, bless his name; announce his salvation day after day.
3 Erzählt von seiner Herrlichkeit unter den Heiden,unter allen Völkern seine Wundertaten!	3 Tell God's glory among the nations; among all peoples, God's marvelous deeds.
4 Denn groß ist der HERR und hoch zu preisen,mehr zu fürchten als alle andern Götter;	4 For great is the LORD and highly to be praised, to be feared above all gods.
5 denn alle Götter der Heiden sind nichtige Götzen,doch der HERR hat den Himmel geschaffen.	5 For the gods of the nations all do nothing, but the LORD made the heavens.
6 Hoheit (= Majestät) und Pracht gehn vor ihm her,Macht und Herrlichkeit füllen sein Heiligtum.	6 Splendor and power go before him; power and grandeur are in his holy place.
7 Bringt dar dem HERRN, ihr Geschlechter der Völker,bringt dar dem HERRN Ehre und Preis!	7 Give to the LORD, you families of nations, give to the LORD glory and might;
8 Bringt dar dem HERRN die Ehre seines Namens,bringt Opfergaben und kommt in seine Vorhöfe!	8 give to the LORD the glory due his name! Bring gifts and enter his courts;
9 Werft vor dem HERRN euch nieder in heiligem Schmuck,erzittert vor ihm, alle Lande!	9 bow down to the LORD, splendid in holiness. Tremble before God, all the earth;
10 Verkündet unter den Heiden: »Der HERR ist König!Und feststehn wird der Erdkreis, daß er nicht wankt;richten wird er die Völker nach Gebühr.«	10 say among the nations: The LORD is king. The world will surely stand fast, never to be moved. God rules the peoples with fairness.
11 Des freue sich der Himmel, die Erde jauchze,es brause das Meer und was darin wimmelt!	11 Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and what fills it resound;
12 Es jauchze die Flur und was auf ihr wächst!Dann werden auch jubeln alle Bäume des Waldes	12 let the plains be joyful and all that is in them. Then let all the trees of the forest rejoice
13 vor dem HERRN, wenn er kommt,wenn er kommt, zu richten die Erde.Richten wird er den Erdkreis mit Gerechtigkeitund die Völker mit seiner Treue.	13 before the LORD who comes, who comes to govern the earth, To govern the world with justice and the peoples with faithfulness.
