EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Der Herr sprach zu Mose auf dem Berg Sinai:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai and said:
2 Rede zu den Israeliten und sag zu ihnen: Wenn ihr in das Land kommt, das ich euch gebe, soll das Land Sabbatruhe zur Ehre des Herrn halten.	2 'Speak to the Israelites and say to them: "When you enter the country which I am giving you, the landmust keep a Sabbath's rest for Yahweh.
3 Sechs Jahre sollst du dein Feld besäen, sechs Jahre sollst du deinen Weinberg beschneiden und seinen Ertrag ernten.	3 For six years you wil sow your field, for six years you wil prune your vineyard and gather its produce.
4 Aber im siebten Jahr soll das Land eine vollständige Sabbatruhe zur Ehre des Herrn halten: Dein Feld sollst du nicht besäen und deinen Weinberg nicht beschneiden.	4 But in the seventh year the land wil have a sabbatical rest, a Sabbath for Yahweh. You wil neithersow your field, nor prune your vineyard,
5 Den Nachwuchs deiner Ernte sollst du nicht ernten und die Trauben deines nicht beschnittenen Weinstockes sollst du nicht lesen. Für das Land soll es ein Jahr der Sabbatruhe sein.	5 nor reap any grain which has grown of its own accord, nor gather the grapes from your untrimmedvine. It wil be a year of rest for the land.
6 Der Sabbat des Landes selbst soll euch ernähren: dich, deinen Knecht, deine Magd, deinen Lohnarbeiter, deinen Halbbürger, alle, die bei dir leben.	6 But what the land produces in its Sabbath wil serve to feed you, your slave, male or female, youremployee and your guest residing with you;
7 Auch deinem Vieh und den Tieren in deinem Land wird sein ganzer Ertrag zur Nahrung dienen.	7 for your cattle too, and the wild animals of your country, whatever it produces wil serve as food.
8 Du sollst sieben Jahreswochen, siebenmal sieben Jahre, zählen; die Zeit von sieben Jahreswochen ergibt für dich neunundvierzig Jahre.	8 "You wil count seven weeks of years -- seven times seven years, that is to say a period of sevenweeks of years, forty-nine years.
9 Im siebten Monat, am zehnten Tag des Monats, sollst du das Signalhorn ertönen lassen; am Versöhnungstag sollt ihr das Horn im ganzen Land ertönen lassen.	9 And on the tenth day of the seventh month you wil sound the trumpet; on the Day of Expiation you wilsound the trumpet throughout the land.
10 Erklärt dieses fünfzigste Jahr für heilig und ruft Freiheit für alle Bewohner des Landes aus! Es gelte euch als Jubeljahr. Jeder von euch soll zu seinem Grundbesitz zurückkehren, jeder soll zu seiner Sippe heimkehren.	10 You wil declare this fiftieth year to be sacred and proclaim the liberation of al the country'sinhabitants. You will keep this as a jubilee: each of you wil return to his ancestral property, each to his own clan.
11 Dieses fünfzigste Jahr gelte euch als Jubeljahr. Ihr sollt nicht säen, den Nachwuchs nicht abernten, die unbeschnittenen Weinstöcke nicht lesen.	11 This fiftieth year wil be a jubilee year for you; in it you wil not sow, you wil not harvest the grain thathas come up on its own or in it gather grapes from your untrimmed vine.
12 Denn es ist ein Jubeljahr, es soll euch als heilig gelten. Vom Feld weg sollt ihr den Ertrag essen.	12 The jubilee wil be a holy thing for you; during it you wil eat whatever the fields produce.
13 In diesem Jubeljahr soll jeder von euch zu seinem Besitz zurückkehren.	13 "In this year of jubilee, each of you wil return to his ancestral property.
14 Wenn du deinem Stammesgenossen etwas verkaufst oder von ihm etwas kaufst, sollt ihr einander nicht übervorteilen.	14 If you buy land from, or sell land to, your fel ow-countryman, neither of you may exploit the other.
15 Kaufst du von deinem Stammesgenossen, so berücksichtige die Zahl der Jahre nach dem Jubeljahr; verkauft er dir, dann soll er die noch ausstehenden Ertragsjahre berücksichtigen.	15 In buying from your fel ow-countryman, you will take account of the number of years since the jubilee;the sale-price he fixes for you will depend on the number of productive years still to run.
16 Je höher die Anzahl der Jahre, desto höher berechne den Kaufpreis; je geringer die Anzahl der Jahre, desto weniger verlang von ihm; denn es ist die Zahl von Ernteerträgen, die er dir verkauft.	16 The greater the number of years, the higher the price you wil ask for it; the fewer the number ofyears, the greater the reduction; for what he is sel ing you is a certain number of harvests.
17 Ihr sollt einander nicht übervorteilen. Fürchte deinen Gott; denn ich bin der Herr, euer Gott.	17 So you wil not exploit one another, but fear your God, for I am Yahweh your God.
18 Ihr sollt meine Satzungen befolgen und auf meine Vorschriften achten und sie ausführen; dann werdet ihr im Land in Sicherheit wohnen.	18 "Hence, you wil put my laws and customs into practice; you will keep them and put them intopractice, and you wil live securely in the country.
19 Das Land wird seine Frucht geben, ihr werdet euch satt essen und in Sicherheit darin wohnen.	19 The land wil give its fruit, and you will eat your fill and live in security.
20 Wenn ihr aber fragt: Was sollen wir im siebten Jahr essen, wenn wir nicht säen und unseren Ertrag nicht ernten dürfen? -	20 "In case you should ask: What shal we eat in this seventh year if we do not sow or harvest ourproduce?
21 Seht, ich werde für euch im sechsten Jahr meinen Segen aufbieten und er wird den Ertrag für drei Jahre geben.	21 I shall order my blessing to be on you in the sixth year, which wil yield you enough produce for threeyears.
22 Wenn ihr im achten Jahr sät, werdet ihr noch bis zum neunten Jahr vom alten Ertrag essen können; bis der Ertrag dieses Jahres kommt, werdet ihr vom alten essen können.	22 You wil have the old produce to eat while you are sowing in the eighth year, and even in the ninthyear, you wil be eating the old produce, while waiting for the harvest of that year.
23 Das Land darf nicht endgültig verkauft werden; denn das Land gehört mir und ihr seid nur Fremde und Halbbürger bei mir.	23 "Land wil not be sold absolutely, for the land belongs to me, and you are only strangers and guestsof mine.
24 Für jeden Grundbesitz sollt ihr ein Rückkaufrecht auf das Land gewähren.	24 You wil al ow a right of redemption over any ancestral property.
25 Wenn dein Bruder verarmt und etwas von seinem Grundbesitz verkauft, soll sein Verwandter als Löser für ihn eintreten und den verkauften Boden seines Bruders auslösen.	25 If your brother becomes impoverished and sel s off part of his ancestral property, his nearest malerelative wil come and exercise his family rights over what his brother has sold.
26 Hat einer keinen Löser, hat er aber die nötigen Mittel für den Rückkauf selbst aufgebracht,	26 The man who has no one to exercise this right may, once he has found the means to effect theredemption,
27 dann soll er die Jahre seit dem Verkauf anrechnen und den Restbetrag dem Käufer zurückzahlen; sein Grundbesitz fällt an ihn zurück.	27 calculate the number of years that the alienation would have lasted, repay to the purchaser the sumdue for the time stil to run, and so recover his ancestral property.
28 Bringt er die nötigen Mittel für diese Ersatzleistung nicht auf, dann soll der verkaufte Grund bis zum Jubeljahr im Besitz des Käufers bleiben. Im Jubeljahr wird das Grundstück frei und es kommt wieder zu seinem Besitz.	28 If he cannot find the sum in compensation, the property sold will remain in the possession of thepurchaser until the jubilee year. In the jubilee year, the latter wil vacate it and return to his own ancestralproperty.
29 Verkauft jemand ein Wohnhaus in einer ummauerten Stadt, so besteht das Rückkaufrecht bis zum Ablauf des Jahres, das dem Verkauf folgt; sein Rückkaufrecht ist zeitlich beschränkt.	29 "If anyone sel s a dwel ing house inside a wal ed town, he wil have the right of redemption until theexpiry of the year fol owing the sale. His right of redemption is limited to the year;
30 Erfolgt der Rückkauf bis zum Ablauf des Jahres nicht, dann soll das Haus innerhalb der ummauerten Stadt dem Käufer und seinen Nachkommen endgültig verbleiben; er braucht es im Jubeljahr nicht zu verlassen.	30 and if the redemption has not been effected by the end of the year, the house in the wal ed town wilbecome the property of the purchaser and his descendants in perpetuity; he need not vacate it at the jubilee.
31 Aber die Häuser in Dörfern, die nicht von Mauern umgeben sind, werden als Bestandteil des freien Feldes betrachtet; für sie besteht ein Rückkaufrecht und der Käufer muss es im Jubeljahr verlassen.	31 But houses in villages not enclosed by wal s wil be considered as situated in the open country; theycarry the right of redemption, and the purchaser wil vacate them at the jubilee.
32 Für die Städte der Leviten, die Häuser der Städte, die ihr Erbbesitz sind, gilt: Die Leviten haben ein zeitlich unbegrenztes Rückkaufrecht.	32 "As regards the towns of the Levites, town houses forming part of their ancestral property wil carry aperpetual right of redemption in their favour.
33 Wenn einer von den Leviten auf Einlösung verzichtet, fällt im Jubeljahr das Haus in der Stadt als Erbbesitz zurück; denn die Häuser in den Städten der Leviten sind deren Eigentum mitten unter den Israeliten.	33 If a Levite is the one to be affected by the right of redemption, at the jubilee he will vacate thepurchased property and return to his own home, to the town in which he has a title to property. The houses in theLevites' towns represent their ancestral property in Israel,
34 Das Weideland, das zu diesen Städten gehört, kann nicht verkauft werden; denn es ist zeitlich unbegrenzt ihr Eigentum.	34 and the arable land depending on these towns cannot be sold, being their ancestral property for ever.
35 Wenn dein Bruder verarmt und sich neben dir nicht halten kann, sollst du ihn, auch einen Fremden oder Halbbürger, unterstützen, damit er neben dir leben kann.	35 "If your brother becomes impoverished and cannot support himself in the community, you wil assisthim as you would a stranger or guest, so that he can go on living with you.
36 Nimm von ihm keinen Zins und Wucher! Fürchte deinen Gott und dein Bruder soll neben dir leben können.	36 Do not charge him interest on a loan, but fear your God, and let your brother live with you.
37 Du sollst ihm weder dein Geld noch deine Nahrung gegen Zins und Wucher geben.	37 You wil not lend him money on interest or give him food to make a profit out of it.
38 Ich bin der Herr, euer Gott, der euch aus Ägypten herausgeführt hat, um euch Kanaan zu geben und euer Gott zu sein.	38 I am Yahweh your God who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and be yourGod.
39 Wenn ein Bruder bei dir verarmt und sich dir verkauft, darfst du ihm keine Sklavenarbeit auferlegen;	39 "If your brother becomes impoverished while with you and sells himself to you, you will not make himdo the work of a slave;
40 er soll dir wie ein Lohnarbeiter oder ein Halbbürger gelten und bei dir bis zum Jubeljahr arbeiten.	40 you wil treat him like an employee or guest, and he wil work for you until the jubilee year.
41 Dann soll er von dir frei weggehen, er und seine Kinder, und soll zu seiner Sippe, zum Eigentum seiner Väter zurückkehren.	41 He wil then leave you, both he and his children, and return to his clan and regain possession of hisancestral property.
42 Denn sie sind meine Knechte; ich habe sie aus Ägypten herausgeführt; sie sollen nicht verkauft werden, wie ein Sklave verkauft wird.	42 For they are my servants whom I have brought out of Egypt, and they may not be bought and sold asslaves.
43 Du sollst nicht mit Gewalt über ihn herrschen. Fürchte deinen Gott!	43 You wil not oppress your brother-Israelites harshly but wil fear your God.
44 Die Sklaven und Sklavinnen, die euch gehören sollen, kauft von den Völkern, die rings um euch wohnen; von ihnen könnt ihr Sklaven und Sklavinnen erwerben.	44 "The male and female slaves you have wil come from the nations round you; from these you maypurchase male and female slaves.
45 Auch von den Kindern der Halbbürger, die bei euch leben, aus ihren Sippen, die mit euch leben, von den Kindern, die sie in eurem Land gezeugt haben, könnt ihr Sklaven erwerben. Sie sollen euer Eigentum sein	45 As slaves, you may also purchase the children of aliens resident among you, and also members oftheir families living with you who have been born on your soil; and they will become your property,
46 und ihr dürft sie euren Söhnen vererben, damit diese sie als dauerndes Eigentum besitzen; ihr sollt sie als Sklaven haben. Aber was eure Brüder, die Israeliten, angeht, so soll keiner über den andern mit Gewalt herrschen.	46 and you may leave them as a legacy to your sons after you as their perpetual possession. These youmay have for slaves; but you wil not oppress your brother-Israelites.
47 Wenn ein Fremder oder ein Halbbürger bei dir zu Vermögen kommt, aber dein Bruder von ihm wirtschaftlich abhängig wird und sich ihm oder einem Nachkommen aus der Familie eines Fremden verkauft,	47 "If a stranger or guest living with you gets rich and your brother, in the course of dealings with him,becomes impoverished and sel s himself to this stranger or guest, or to the descendant of a stranger's family,
48 dann soll es, wenn er sich verkauft hat, für ihn ein Loskaufrecht geben: Einer seiner Brüder soll ihn auslösen.	48 he wil enjoy the right of redemption after being sold, and one of his brothers may redeem him.
49 Auslösen sollen ihn sein Onkel, der Sohn seines Onkels oder sonst ein Verwandter aus seiner Sippe. Falls seine eigenen Mittel ausreichen, kann er sich selbst loskaufen.	49 His paternal uncle, his uncle's son, or a member of his own family may redeem him; if he has themeans, he may redeem himself.
50 Er soll mit dem, der ihn gekauft hat, die Jahre zwischen dem Verkaufs- und dem Jubeljahr berechnen; die Summe des Verkaufspreises soll auf die Zahl der Jahre verteilt werden, wobei die verbrachte Zeit wie die eines Lohnarbeiters gilt.	50 By agreement with his purchaser, he wil count the number of years between the year of sale and thejubilee year; his sale-price will be proportionate to the number of years, his time being valued as that of anemployee.
51 Wenn noch viele Jahre abzudienen sind, soll er ihrer Zahl entsprechend den Lösepreis von seiner Kaufsumme absetzen.	51 If there are stil many years to run, in proportion to their number he wil refund part of his sale-price aspayment for his redemption.
52 Wenn nur noch wenige Jahre bis zum Jubeljahr übrig sind, soll er es ihm berechnen; den Jahren entsprechend soll er den Lösepreis bezahlen.	52 And if there are only a few years stil to run before the jubilee year, he wil calculate with him whatshould be refunded for his redemption, in proportion to their number,
53 Er gelte wie ein Lohnarbeiter Jahr um Jahr bei seinem Herrn; dieser soll nicht vor deinen Augen mit Gewalt über ihn herrschen.	53 as though he were hired by the year. You wil see to it that he is not harshly oppressed.
54 Wenn er in der Zwischenzeit nicht losgekauft wird, soll er im Jubeljahr freigelassen werden, er und seine Kinder.	54 "If he has not been redeemed in any of these ways, he wil go free in the jubilee year, both he and hischildren;
55 Denn mir gehören die Israeliten als Knechte, meine Knechte sind sie; ich habe sie aus Ägypten herausgeführt, ich, der Herr, euer Gott.	55 for the Israelites are my servants; they are my servants whom I brought out of Egypt. I am Yahwehyour God." '
