1 Der Herr sprach zu Mose:	1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Rede zu den Israeliten und sag zu ihnen: Ich bin der Herr, euer Gott.	2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.
3 Ihr sollt nicht tun, was man in Ägypten tut, wo ihr gewohnt habt; ihr sollt nicht tun, was man in Kanaan tut, wohin ich euch führe. Ihre Bräuche sollt ihr nicht befolgen.	3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
4 Meine Vorschriften sollt ihr einhalten und meine Satzungen sollt ihr beachten und befolgen. Ich bin der Herr, euer Gott.	4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.
5 Ihr sollt auf meine Satzungen und meine Vorschriften achten. Wer sie einhält, wird durch sie leben. Ich bin der Herr.	5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
6 Niemand von euch darf sich einer Blutsverwandten nähern, um ihre Scham zu entblößen. Ich bin der Herr.	6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.
7 Die Scham deines Vaters, nämlich die Scham deiner Mutter, darfst du nicht entblößen. Sie ist deine Mutter, du darfst ihre Scham nicht entblößen.	7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8 Die Scham der Frau deines Vaters darfst du nicht entblößen; sie ist die Scham deines Vaters.	8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
9 Die Scham deiner Schwester, einer Tochter deines Vaters oder einer Tochter deiner Mutter, darfst du nicht entblößen, sei sie im Haus oder außerhalb geboren.	9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10 Die Scham einer Tochter deines Sohnes oder einer Tochter deiner Tochter darfst du nicht entblößen; denn ihre Scham ist deine eigene Scham.	10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
11 Die Scham der Tochter einer Frau deines Vaters darfst du nicht entblößen. Sie ist deinem Vater geboren, also deine Schwester; du darfst ihre Scham nicht entblößen.	11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12 Die Scham einer Schwester deines Vaters darfst du nicht entblößen; denn sie ist mit deinem Vater leiblich verwandt.	12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.
13 Die Scham der Schwester deiner Mutter darfst du nicht entblößen; denn sie ist mit deiner Mutter leiblich verwandt.	13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
14 Die Scham des Bruders deines Vaters darfst du nicht entblößen; du darfst dich seiner Frau nicht nähern; denn sie ist deine Tante.	14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
15 Die Scham deiner Schwiegertochter darfst du nicht entblößen. Sie ist die Frau deines Sohnes; du darfst ihre Scham nicht entblößen.	15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
16 Die Scham der Frau deines Bruders darfst du nicht entblößen; denn sie ist die Scham deines Bruders.	16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.
17 Die Scham einer Frau und gleichzeitig die ihrer Tochter darfst du nicht entblößen; weder die Tochter ihres Sohnes noch die Tochter ihrer Tochter darfst du nehmen, um ihre Scham zu entblößen. Sie sind leiblich verwandt, es wäre Blutschande.	17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
18 Du darfst neben einer Frau nicht auch noch deren Schwester heiraten; du würdest sie zur Nebenbuhlerin machen, wenn du zu Lebzeiten der Frau die Scham ihrer Schwester entblößt.	18 Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
19 Einer Frau, die wegen ihrer Regel unrein ist, darfst du dich nicht nähern, um ihre Scham zu entblößen.	19 Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
20 Der Frau deines Stammesgenossen darfst du nicht beiwohnen; du würdest dadurch unrein.	20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.
21 Von deinen Nachkommen darfst du keinen für Moloch darbringen. Du darfst den Namen deines Gottes nicht entweihen. Ich bin der Herr.	21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
22 Du darfst nicht mit einem Mann schlafen, wie man mit einer Frau schläft; das wäre ein Gräuel.	22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Keinem Vieh darfst du beiwohnen; du würdest dadurch unrein. Keine Frau darf vor ein Vieh hintreten, um sich mit ihm zu begatten; das wäre eine schandbare Tat.	23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 Ihr sollt euch nicht durch all das verunreinigen; denn durch all das haben sich die Völker verunreinigt, die ich vor euch vertrieben habe.	24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 Das Land wurde unrein, ich habe an ihm seine Schuld geahndet und das Land hat seine Bewohner ausgespien.	25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ihr aber sollt auf meine Satzungen und Vorschriften achten und keine dieser Gräueltaten begehen, weder der Einheimische noch der Fremde, der in eurer Mitte lebt.	26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 Denn all diese Gräueltaten haben die Leute begangen, die vor euch im Land waren, und so wurde das Land unrein.	27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28 Wird es etwa euch, wenn ihr es verunreinigt, nicht ebenso ausspeien, wie es das Volk vor euch ausgespien hat?	28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
29 Alle nämlich, die irgendeine dieser Gräueltaten begehen, werden aus der Mitte ihres Volkes ausgemerzt.	29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Achtet auf meine Anordnungen, befolgt keinen von den gräulichen Bräuchen, die man vor euch befolgt hat, und verunreinigt euch nicht durch sie. Ich bin der Herr, euer Gott.	30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
