EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Nach dem Tod der beiden Söhne Aarons, die umgekommen waren, als sie vor den Herrn hintraten, redete der Herr mit Mose.	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron who died when offering unauthorisedfire.
2 Der Herr sprach zu Mose: Sag deinem Bruder Aaron, er soll nicht zu jeder beliebigen Zeit das Heiligtum hinter dem Vorhang vor der Deckplatte der Lade betreten. Dann wird er nicht sterben, wenn ich über der Deckplatte in einer Wolke erscheine.	2 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said: 'Tel Aaron your brother that he may not enter the sanctuary insidethe curtain in front of the mercy-seat on the ark whenever he chooses, in case he incurs death, for I appear in acloud on the mercy-seat.
3 Aaron darf nur so in das Heiligtum kommen: mit einem Jungstier für ein Sündopfer und einem Widder für ein Brandopfer.	3 'This is how he must enter the sanctuary: with a young bul for a sacrifice for sin and a ram for a burntoffering.
4 Ein geweihtes Leinengewand soll er anhaben, leinene Beinkleider tragen, sich mit einem Leinengürtel gürten und um den Kopf einen Leinenturban binden. Das sind heilige Gewänder; deshalb soll er seinen ganzen Körper in Wasser baden und sie erst dann anlegen.	4 He will put on a tunic of consecrated linen, wear linen drawers on his body, a linen waistband round hiswaist, and a linen turban on his head. These are the sacred vestments he wil put on after washing himself.
5 Von der Gemeinde der Israeliten soll er zwei Ziegenböcke für ein Sündopfer und einen Widder für ein Brandopfer erhalten.	5 'From the community of Israelites he wil receive two he-goats for a sacrifice for sin and a ram for aburnt offering.
6 Hat er den Jungstier für seine eigene Sünde dargebracht und sich und sein Haus entsühnt,	6 After offering the bul as a sacrifice for his own sin and performing the rite of expiation for himself andhis family,
7 dann soll Aaron die beiden Ziegenböcke nehmen und sie vor dem Herrn am Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes aufstellen.	7 he wil take the two he-goats and place them before Yahweh at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
8 Für die beiden Böcke soll er Lose kennzeichnen, ein Los «für den Herrn» und ein Los «für Asasel».	8 Aaron wil then draw lots over the two goats, one lot to be for Yahweh and the other lot for Azazel.
9 Aaron soll den Bock, für den das Los «für den Herrn» herauskommt, herbeiführen und ihn als Sündopfer darbringen.	9 Aaron wil then take the goat on which the lot "For Yahweh" has fal en, and offer it as a sacrifice for sin.
10 Der Bock, für den das Los «für Asasel» herauskommt, soll lebend vor den Herrn gestellt werden, um für die Sühne zu dienen und zu Asasel in die Wüste geschickt zu werden.	10 But the goat on which the lot "For Azazel" has fal en, will be placed alive before Yahweh, for the riteof expiation to be performed with it, and for it then to be sent to Azazel in the desert.
11 Aaron soll den Jungstier für sein eigenes Sündopfer herbeibringen lassen, um sich und sein Haus zu entsühnen, und diesen Jungstier als Sündopfer für sich schlachten.	11 'Having offered the bul as a sacrifice for his own sin and performed the rite of expiation for himselfand for his family, and slaughtered the bul as a sacrifice for sin,
12 Dann soll er eine Räucherpfanne voll glühender Kohlen vom Altar, der vor dem Herrn steht, und zwei Hand voll zerstoßenen duftenden Räucherwerks nehmen. Er soll alles hinter den Vorhang bringen	12 Aaron wil then fill a censer with live coals from the altar before Yahweh, take two handfuls of finelyground aromatic incense and bring this inside the curtain.
13 und das Räucherwerk auf das Feuer vor dem Herrn tun; die Wolke des Räucherwerks soll die Deckplatte über der Lade einhüllen, damit er nicht sterben muss.	13 He wil then put the incense on the fire before Yahweh, so that the cloud of incense hides the mercy-seat which is on the Testimony and he does not incur death.
14 Dann soll er vom Blut des Jungstiers nehmen und es mit seinem Finger gegen die Vorderseite der Deckplatte spritzen; auch vor die Deckplatte soll er mit seinem Finger siebenmal etwas Blut spritzen.	14 He wil then take some of the bul 's blood and sprinkle it with his finger on the eastern side of themercy-seat. He will sprinkle some of the blood seven times with his finger in front of the mercy-seat.
15 Nachher soll er den Bock schlachten, der als Sündopfer für das Volk bestimmt ist, und sein Blut hinter den Vorhang tragen. Er soll es mit diesem Blut ebenso machen wie mit dem Blut des Jungstiers und es auf die Deckplatte und vor die Deckplatte spritzen.	15 'He wil then slaughter the goat for the sacrifice for the sin of the people, and take its blood inside thecurtain, and with this blood do as he did with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it on the mercy-seat and in front ofit.
16 So soll er das Heiligtum von den Unreinheiten der Israeliten, von all ihren Freveltaten und Sünden entsühnen und so soll er mit dem Offenbarungszelt verfahren, das bei ihnen inmitten ihrer Unreinheiten seinen Sitz hat.	16 This is how he must perform the rite of expiation for the sanctuary for the uncleanness of theIsraelites, for their acts of rebel ion and al their sins. 'And this is what he must do for the Tent of Meeting whichremains with them, surrounded by their uncleanness.
17 Kein Mensch darf im Offenbarungszelt sein, wenn er in das Heiligtum eintritt, um die Sühne zu vollziehen, bis er es wieder verlässt. Hat er sich, sein Haus und die ganze Gemeinde Israels entsühnt,	17 No one must be inside the Tent of Meeting, from the moment he enters to make expiation in thesanctuary until the time he comes out. 'When he has made expiation for himself, for his family, and for the wholecommunity of Israel,
18 so soll er zum Altar vor dem Herrn hinausgehen und ihn entsühnen. Er soll etwas Blut des Jungstiers und des Bockes nehmen und es auf die Hörner rings um den Altar tun.	18 he must come outside, go to the altar before Yahweh and perform the rite of expiation for it. He willtake some of the bul 's blood and some of the goat's blood and put it on the horns at the corners of the altar alaround it,
19 Etwas von diesem Blut soll er mit seinem Finger siebenmal auf den Altar spritzen. So soll er ihn von den Unreinheiten der Israeliten reinigen und ihn heiligen.	19 and sprinkle some of the blood on it seven times with his finger, thus purifying it and setting it apartfrom the uncleanness of the Israelites.
20 Hat er so die Entsühnung des Heiligtums, des Offenbarungszeltes und des Altars beendet, soll er den lebenden Bock herbringen lassen.	20 'Once expiation for the sanctuary, the Tent of Meeting and the altar is complete, he will bring the goatwhich is stil alive.
21 Aaron soll seine beiden Hände auf den Kopf des lebenden Bockes legen und über ihm alle Sünden der Israeliten, alle ihre Frevel und alle ihre Fehler bekennen. Nachdem er sie so auf den Kopf des Bockes geladen hat, soll er ihn durch einen bereitstehenden Mann in die Wüste treiben lassen	21 Aaron wil then lay both his hands on its head and over it confess al the guilt of the Israelites, al theiracts of rebel ion and all their sins. Having thus laid them on the goat's head, he will send it out into the desertunder the charge of a man waiting ready,
22 und der Bock soll alle ihre Sünden mit sich in die Einöde tragen. Hat er den Bock in die Wüste geschickt,	22 and the goat wil bear all their guilt away into some desolate place. 'When he has sent the goat intothe desert,
23 dann soll Aaron wieder in das Offenbarungszelt gehen, die Leinengewänder, die er beim Betreten des Heiligtums angelegt hat, ablegen und sie dort verwahren.	23 Aaron wil go back into the Tent of Meeting and take off the linen vestments which he wore to enterthe sanctuary and leave them there.
24 Er soll seinen Körper in Wasser an einem heiligen Ort baden, wieder seine Kleider anlegen und hinausgehen, um sein Brandopfer und das des Volkes darzubringen. Er soll sich und das Volk entsühnen	24 He wil then wash his body inside the holy place, put on his vestments and come outside to offer hisown and the people's burnt offering. He wil perform the rite of expiation for himself and for the people,
25 und das Fett des Sündopfers auf dem Altar in Rauch aufgehen lassen.	25 and burn the fat of the sacrifice for sin on the altar.
26 Der Mann, der den Bock für Asasel hinausgeführt hat, muss seine Kleider waschen, seinen Körper in Wasser baden und darf danach wieder in das Lager kommen.	26 'The man who led the goat away to Azazel wil wash his clothes and body before entering the camp.
27 Den Jungstier und den Bock, die man als Sündopfer dargebracht und deren Blut man in das Heiligtum zur Entsühnung gebracht hat, soll man aus dem Lager hinausschaffen und ihr Fell, ihr Fleisch und ihren Mageninhalt im Feuer verbrennen.	27 The bul and the goat offered as a sacrifice for sin, the blood of which was taken into the sanctuary forthe rite of expiation, must be taken outside the camp, where their skin, meat and offal are to be burnt.
28 Wer sie verbrannt hat, muss seine Kleider waschen, den Körper in Wasser baden und darf danach wieder ins Lager kommen.	28 The man who burns them wil wash his clothes and body before entering the camp.
29 Folgendes soll euch als feste Regel gelten: Im siebten Monat, am zehnten Tag des Monats, sollt ihr euch Enthaltung auferlegen und keinerlei Arbeit tun, der Einheimische und ebenso der Fremde, der in eurer Mitte lebt.	29 'This wil be a perpetual law for you. 'On the tenth day of the seventh month you will fast and refrainfrom work, both citizen and resident alien;
30 Denn an diesem Tag entsühnt man euch, um euch zu reinigen. Vor dem Herrn werdet ihr von allen euren Sünden wieder rein.	30 for this is the day on which the rite of expiation will be performed for you to purify you, to purify youbefore Yahweh from al your sins.
31 Dieser Tag ist für euch ein vollständiger Ruhetag, und ihr sollt euch Enthaltung auferlegen. Das gelte als feste Regel.	31 It wil be a sabbatical rest for you and you wil fast. This is a perpetual law.
32 Der Priester, den man gesalbt und an Stelle seines Vaters als Priester eingesetzt hat, soll die Sühne vollziehen. Er soll die Leinengewänder, die heiligen Gewänder, anlegen.	32 'The rite of expiation wil be performed by the priest who has been anointed and instal ed to officiatein succession to his father. He wil put on the linen vestments, the sacred vestments,
33 Er soll das geweihte Heiligtum, das Offenbarungszelt und den Altar entsühnen; dann soll er die Priester und das ganze Volk der Gemeinde entsühnen.	33 and perform the rite of expiation for the holy sanctuary, the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and wilthen perform the rite of expiation for the priests and al the people of the community.
34 Das soll für euch als feste Regel gelten: Einmal im Jahr sollen die Israeliten von allen ihren Sünden entsühnt werden. Und man tat, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.	34 This wil be a perpetual law for you; once a year the rite of expiation wil be made for the Israelites foral their sins.' And as Yahweh ordered Moses, so it was done.
