1 These are the generations of the sons of Noe: Sem, Cham, and Japheth: and unto them sons were born after the flood.	1 ואלה תולדת בני נח שם חם ויפת ויולדו להם בנים אחר המבול
2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Thubal, and Mosoch, and Thiras.	2 בני יפת גמר ומגוג ומדי ויון ותבל ומשך ותירס
3 And the sons of Gomer: Ascenez and Riphath and Thogorma.	3 ובני גמר אשכנז וריפת ותגרמה
4 And the sons of Javan: Elisa and Tharsis, Cetthim, and Dodanim.	4 ובני יון אלישה ותרשיש כתים ודדנים
5 By these were divided the islands of the Gentiles in their lands, every one according to his tongue and their families in their nations.	5 מאלה נפרדו איי הגוים בארצתם איש ללשנו למשפחתם בגויהם
6 And the sons of Cham: Chus, and Mesram, and Phuth, and Chanaan.	6 ובני חם כוש ומצרים ופוט וכנען
7 And the sons of Chus: Saba and Hevila, and Sabatha, and Regma, and Sabatacha. The sons of Regma: Saba and Dadan.	7 ובני כוש סבא וחוילה וסבתה ורעמה וסבתכא ובני רעמה שבא ודדן
8 Now Chus begot Nemrod: he began to be mighty on earth.	8 וכוש ילד את נמרד הוא החל להיות גבר בארץ
9 And he was a stout hunter before the Lord. Hence came a proverb: Even as Nemrod the stout hunter before the Lord.	9 הוא היה גבר ציד לפני יהוה על כן יאמר כנמרד גבור ציד לפני יהוה
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, and Arach, and Achad, and Chalanne in the land of Sennaar.	10 ותהי ראשית ממלכתו בבל וארך ואכד וכלנה בארץ שנער
11 Out of that land came forth Assur, and built Ninive, and the streets of the city, and Chale.	11 מן הארץ ההוא יצא אשור ויבן את נינוה ואת רחבת עיר ואת כלח
12 Resen also between Ninive and Chale: this is the great city.	12 ואת רסן בין נינוה ובין כלח הוא העיר הגדלה
13 And Mesraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Laabim, Nepthuim,	13 ומצרים ילד את לודים ואת ענמים ואת להבים ואת נפתחים
14 And Phetrusim, and Chasluim; of whom came forth the Philistines, and the Capthorim.	14 ואת פתרסים ואת כסלחים אשר יצאו משם פלשתים ואת כפתרים
15 And Chanaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, the Hethite,	15 וכנען ילד את צידן בכרו ואת חת
16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorrhite, and the Gergesite,	16 ואת היבוסי ואת האמרי ואת הגרגשי
17 The Hevite and the Aracite: the Sinite,	17 ואת החוי ואת הערקי ואת הסיני
18 And the Aradian, the Samarite, and the Hamathite: and afterwards the families of the Chanaanites were spread abroad.	18 ואת הארודי ואת הצמרי ואת החמתי ואחר נפצו משפחות הכנעני
19 And the limits of Chanaan were from Sidon as one comes to Gerara even to Gaza, until thou enter Sodom and Gomorrha, and Adama, and Seboim even to Lesa.	19 ויהי גבול הכנעני מצידן באכה גררה עד עזה באכה סדמה ועמרה ואדמה וצבים עד לשע
20 These are the children of Cham in their kindreds, and tongues, and generations, and lands, and nations.	20 אלה בני חם למשפחתם ללשנתם בארצתם בגויהם
21 Of Sem also, the father of all children of Heber, the elder brother of Japheth, sons were born.	21 ולשם ילד גם הוא אבי כל בני עבר אחי יפת הגדול
22 The sons of Sem: Elam and Assur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.	22 בני שם עילם ואשור וארפכשד ולוד וארם
23 The sons of Aram: Us and Hull, and Gether: and Mess.	23 ובני ארם עוץ וחול וגתר ומש
24 But Arphaxad begot Sale, of whom was born Heber.	24 וארפכשד ילד את שלח ושלח ילד את עבר
25 And to Heber were born two sons: the name of the one was Phaleg, because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name Jectan.	25 ולעבר ילד שני בנים שם האחד פלג כי בימיו נפלגה הארץ ושם אחיו יקטן
26 Which Jectan begot Elmodad, and Saleph, and Asarmoth, Jare,	26 ויקטן ילד את אלמודד ואת שלף ואת חצרמות ואת ירח
27 And Anduram, and Uzal, and Decla,	27 ואת הדורם ואת אוזל ואת דקלה
28 And Ebal, and Abimael, Saba,	28 ואת עובל ואת אבימאל ואת שבא
29 And Ophir, and Hevila, and Jobab.	29 ואת אופר ואת חוילה ואת יובב כל אלה בני יקטן
30 And their dwelling was from Messa as we go on as far as Sephar, a mountain in the east.	30 ויהי מושבם ממשא באכה ספרה הר הקדם
31 These are the children of Sem according to their kindreds and tongues, and countries in their nations.	31 אלה בני שם למשפחתם ללשנתם בארצתם לגויהם
32 These are the families of Noe, according to their peoples and nations. By these were the nations divided on the earth after the flood.	32 אלה משפחת בני נח לתולדתם בגויהם ומאלה נפרדו הגוים בארץ אחר המבול
