1 Canto. Salmo de Asaf.	1 A song; a psalm of Asaph.
2 ¡Oh Dios, no te quedes callado, Dios mío, no guardes silencio, no permanezcas inmóvil!	2 God, do not be silent; God, be not still and unmoved!
3 Mira cómo se agitan tus enemigos y alzan la cabeza tus adversarios:	3 See how your enemies rage; your foes proudly raise their heads.
4 hacen planes contra tu pueblo y conspiran contra tus protegidos.	4 They conspire against your people, plot against those you protect.
5 Dicen: «Vamos a eliminarlos como nación, que ya ni se mencione el nombre de Israel».	5 They say, "Come, let us wipe out their nation; let Israel's name be mentioned no more!"
6 Así conspiran de común acuerdo y sellan una alianza contra ti.	6 They scheme with one mind, in league against you:
7 Son los campamentos de Edom, los ismaelitas, moabitas y agarenos;	7 The tents of Ishmael and Edom, the people of Moab and Hagar,
8 Guebal, Amón y Amalec; Filistea, con los habitantes de Tiro;	8 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia and the inhabitants of Tyre.
9 hasta los asirios se aliaron con ellos y prestaron ayuda a los descendientes de Lot.	9 Assyria, too, in league with them gives aid to the descendants of Lot. Selah
10 Trátalos como a Madián y como a Sísara, como a Jabín en el torrente Quisón:	10 Deal with them as with Midian; as with Sisera and Jabin at the torrent Kishon,
11 ellos fueron exterminados en Endor y se convirtieron en abono de la tierra.	11 Those destroyed at Endor, who became dung for the ground.

15 Como fuego que abrasa la selva, como llama que incendia las montañas,	15 As a fire raging through a forest, a flame setting mountains ablaze,
16 persíguelos con tu tormenta, llénalos de terror con tu borrasca.	16 Pursue them with your tempest; terrify them with your storm.
17 Cúbreles el rostro de ignominia, para que busquen tu Nombre, Señor.	17 Cover their faces with shame, till they pay you homage, LORD.
18 Queden avergonzados, aterrados para siempre, y desaparezcan llenos de confusión,	18 Let them be dismayed and shamed forever; let them perish in disgrace.
19 para que reconozcan que sólo tú llevas el nombre de «Señor», el Altísimo sobre toda la tierra.	19 Show them you alone are the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.
