1 Господь сказав Мойсеєві: «Ось і побачиш, що зроблю я фараонові! Він буде змушений відпустити їх, ба більше, навіть силою вижене їх зо свого краю.»	1 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Now you wil see what I am going to do to Pharaoh. A mighty hand wilforce him to let them go, a mighty hand will force him to expel them from his country.'
2 І говорив Бог до Мойсея словвами: «Я — Ягве.	2 God spoke to Moses and said to him, 'I am Yahweh.
3 Я з’являвсь Авраамові, Ісаакові й Яковові як „Бог Всемогутній“ (Шадай), з ім’ям же моїм „Ягве“ я не об’явився їм.	3 To Abraham, Isaac and Jacob I appeared as El Shaddai, but I did not make my name Yahweh known tothem.
4 Я уклав також союз мій з ними, що дам їм Ханаан-землю, землю, де вони пробували мандрівними чужинцями.	4 I also made my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the country in which they wereliving as aliens.
5 Почув я також і стогін синів Ізраїля, що єгиптяни держать їх у неволі, і згадав про союз мій.	5 Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, enslaved by the Egyptians, and haveremembered my covenant.
6 Тож іди, скажи синам Ізраїля; Я — Господь; я виведу вас із невольничої праці єгипетської, я вирятую вас із їхньої неволі, я спасу вас простягнутою рукою і великими карними присудами.	6 So say to the Israelites, "I am Yahweh. I shall free you from the forced labour of the Egyptians; I shalrescue you from their slavery and I shal redeem you with outstretched arm and mighty acts of judgement.
7 Я візьму вас собі за народ, і буду вам Богом, і ви зрозумієте, що я Господь, ваш Бог, що вивів вас із тяжкої невольничої праці єгипетської.	7 I shall take you as my people and I shal be your God. And you wil know that I am Yahweh your God,who have freed you from the forced labour of the Egyptians.
8 Я введу вас у землю, що її клявсь оддати Авраамові, Ісаакові та Яковові; і дам вам її в насліддя. Я — Господь.»	8 Then I shal lead you into the country which I swore I would give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, andshall give it to you as your heritage, I, Yahweh." '
9 Так промовляв Мойсей до синів Ізраїля; та вони не слухали, бо не могли більше терпіти, така тяжка їхня робота.	9 And Moses repeated this to the Israelites, but they would not listen to Moses, so crushed was their spiritand so cruel their slavery.
10 Тоді сказав Господь Мойсеєві:	10 Yahweh then said to Moses,
11 «Піди і скажи фараонові, цареві єгипетському, нехай відпустить синів Ізраїля із землі своєї.»	11 'Go to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and tel him to let the Israelites leave his country.'
12 І промовив Мойсей до Господа, кажучи: «Ось не послухали мене сини Ізраїля; якже фараон послухається мене? Таж я недорікуватий.»	12 But Moses spoke out in Yahweh's presence and said, 'The Israelites have not listened to me, so whyshould Pharaoh take any notice of a poor speaker like me?'
13 І говорив Господь Мойсеєві та Аронові, і дав їм доручення щодо синів Ізраїля і фараона, царя єгипетського, щоб вивести синів Ізраїля з землі Єгипетської.	13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and sent them to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to lead the Israelites outof Egypt.
14 Ось голови родин їх. Сини Рувима, первородня Ізраїля: Ханох, Паллу, Хецрон і Кармі. Це родини Рувима.	14 These were their heads of families: The sons of Reuben, Israel's first-born: Hanoch, Pal u, Hezron andCarmi: these are the clans of Reuben.
15 Сини ж Симеона: Ємуел, Ямін, Огад, Яхін, Цохар і Саул, син ханаанки. Це родини Симеона.	15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul son of the Canaanite woman:these are the clans of Simeon.
16 А ось імена синів Леві за родинами їхніми: Гершон, Кегат і Мерарі; віку ж Леві було сто тридцять сім років.	16 These were the names of the sons of Levi with their descendants: Gershon, Kohath and Merari. Levilived for a hundred and thirty-seven years.
17 Сини ж Гершона: Лівні та Шімгі за їхніми родинами.	17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, with their clans.
18 Сини ж Кегата: Амрам, Іцгар, Хеврон і Узієл; віку ж Кегатового було сто тридцять три роки.	18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. Kohath lived for a hundred and thirty-threeyears.
19 Сини ж Мерарі: Махлі і Муші; це родини Леві за родами їхніми.	19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of Levi with their descendants.
20 І взяв Амрам Йохеведу, тітку свою, собі за жінку і вродила йому Арона й Мойсея; віку ж Амрамового було сто тридцять і сім років.	20 Amram married Jochebed, his aunt, who bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived for a hundred andthirty-seven years.
21 Сини ж Іцгара: Корах, Нефег і Зіхрі.	21 The sons of Izhar were: Korah, Nepheg and Zichri.
22 Сини ж Узієля: Мішаел, Елцафан і Сітрі.	22 And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan and Sithri.
23 І взяв Арон собі за жінку Елішеву, дочку Амінадава, сестру Нахшона; і вродила йому Надава, Авігу, Єлеазара та Ітамара.	23 Aaron married Elisheba daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab,Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
24 Сини ж Кораха: Ассір, Елкана і Авіясаф; це родини Кораха.	24 The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah and Abiasaph. These are the clans of the Korahites.
25 Єлеазар же, син Арона, взяв собі за жінку одну з дочок Путієла, і вродила йому Пінхаса. Це голови родин Леві за родами їхніми.	25 Eleazar, son of Aaron, married one of Putiel's daughters who bore him Phinehas. These were theLevitical heads of families, according to clan.
26 Це той Арон та Мойсей, що їм сказав Бог: «Виведіть синів Ізраїля з Єгипетської землі за полками.»	26 It was to this Aaron and Moses that Yahweh said, 'Lead the Israelites out of Egypt in their armies.'
27 Це ті, що промовляли до фараона, єгипетського царя, щоб вивести синів Ізраїля з Єгипту: Мойсей та Арон.	27 It was they who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to lead the Israelites out of Egypt -- namely Mosesand Aaron.
28 Тож як Господь говорив до Мойсея в Єгипетській землі,	28 Now the day when Yahweh spoke to Moses in Egypt,
29 мовив він так до нього: «Я — Господь; промов до фараона, царя єгипетського, все, що скажу тобі.»	29 Yahweh said to Moses, 'Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything that I am going to say to you.'
30 І сказав Мойсей перед Господом: «Ось бо губи мої неотесані, тож як фараон послухається мене?»	30 But Moses said to Yahweh's face, 'I am a poor speaker, so why should Pharaoh take any notice ofme?'
