1 Fa molte oblazioni chi osserva la legge.	1 To keep the law is a great oblation, and he who observes the commandments sacrifices a peace offering.
2 E' sacrifizio salutare osservare i comandamenti e allontanarsi da ogni iniquità.	2 In works of charity one offers fine flour, and when he gives alms he presents his sacrifice of praise.
3 E' offrir sacrifizio di propiziazione per le ingiustizie e pregare per il perdono dei peccati l'allontanarsi dall'ingiustizia.	3 To refrain from evil pleases the LORD, and to avoid injustice is an atonement.
4 Colui che offre fior di farina rende grazie, ma chi usa misericordia offre un sacrifizio.	4 Appear not before the LORD empty-handed, for all that you offer is in fulfillment of the precepts.
5 Quello che piace al Signore è lo star lontani dall'iniquità, ed è pregare per il perdono dei peccati allontanarsi dall'ingiustizia.	5 The just man's offering enriches the altar and rises as a sweet odor before the Most High.
6 Non comparir davanti al Signore a mani vuote;	6 The just man's sacrifice is most pleasing, nor will it ever be forgotten.
7 perché tutte queste cose si fanno per comandamento di Dio.	7 In generous spirit pay homage to the LORD, be not sparing of freewill gifts.
8 L'oblazione del giusto impingua l'altare ed è di un odore soave davanti all'Altissimo.	8 With each contribution show a cheerful countenance, and pay your tithes in a spirit of joy.
9 Il sacrifizio del giusto è gradito e il Signore non se ne dimenticherà.	9 Give to the Most High as he has given to you, generously, according to your means.
10 Di buon cuore rendi gloria a Dio, e non toglier nulla dalle primizie delle tue fatiche.	10 For the LORD is one who always repays, and he will give back to you sevenfold.
11 Tutto quello che dài, dallo con ilare volto e consacra con allegrezza le tue decime.	11 But offer no bribes, these he does not accept! Trust not in sacrifice of the fruits of extortion,
12 Dona all'Altissimo in proporzione a quanto t'ha donato e con occhio lieto offri secondo le tue facoltà,	12 For he is a God of justice, who knows no favorites.
13 perché il Signore è rimuneratore e te ne renderà il settuplo.	13 Though not unduly partial toward the weak, yet he hears the cry of the oppressed.
14 Non offrir doni perversi, perchè non li accetterà.	14 He is not deaf to the wail of the orphan, nor to the widow when she pours out her complaint;
15 E non fare assegnamento sopra un sacrifizio ingiusto, perchè il Signore è giudice, e davanti a lui non esiste grandezza di persone.	15 Do not the tears that stream down her cheek cry out against him that causes them to fall?
16 Il Signore non fa accettazione di persone in danno del povero, ed esaudisce la preghiera dell'offeso.	16 He who serves God willingly is heard; his petition reaches the heavens.
17 Non disprezza la supplica dell'orfano, nè la vedova che espone a lungo i gemiti.	17 The prayer of the lowly pierces the clouds; it does not rest till it reaches its goal,
18 Le lacrime della vedova, che scorron giù per le gote non son forse grida contro chi le fa scorrere?	18 Nor will it withdraw till the Most High responds, judges justly and affirms the right.
19 Dalle guance salgono fino al cielo, e il Signore che esaudisce non ne avrà piacere.	19 God indeed will not delay, and like a warrior, will not be still
20 Chi adora Dio nel modo gradito sarà aiutato, e la sua preghiera arriverà fino alle nubi.	20 Till he breaks the backs of the merciless and wreaks vengeance upon the proud;
21 La preghiera di chi si umilia penetrerà le nubi, e non si darà posa finché non giunga (a Dio) e non partirà finché l'Altissimo non l'ha riguardata.	21 Till he destroys the haughty root and branch, and smashes the scepter of the wicked;
22 E il Signore non si farà aspettare, ma giu dicherà in favore dei giusti e fa rà giustizia, il Fortissimo non avrà più pazienza con essi, ma fiaccherà loro il dorso.	22 Till he requites mankind according to its deeds, and repays men according to their thoughts;
23 E si vendicherà delle nazioni, finché non avrà dispersa la folla dei superbi e infranti gli scettri degli iniqui;	23 Till he defends the cause of his people, and gladdens them by his mercy.
24 finché non avrà reso agli uomini secondo le loro opere, secondo le azioni dell'uomo, secondo la sua presunzione;	24 Welcome is his mercy in time of distress as rain clouds in time of drought.
25 finchè non avrà fatto giustizia al suo popolo, e consolati i giusti colla sua misericordia.
26 Bella è la misericordia di Dio nel tempo della tribolazione, come nubi cariche di pioggia nel tempo della siccità.
