1 Aquele que observa a lei faz numerosas oferendas.	1 He that keepeth the law bringeth offerings enough: he that taketh heed to the commandment offereth a peace offering.
2 É um sacrifício salutar guardar os preceitos, e apartar-se de todo pecado.	2 He that requiteth a goodturn offereth fine flour; and he that giveth alms sacrificeth praise.
3 Afastar-se da injustiça é oferecer um sacrifício de propiciação, que consegue o perdão dos pecados.	3 To depart from wickedness is a thing pleasing to the Lord; and to forsake unrighteousness is a propitiation.
4 Aquele que oferece a flor da farinha dá graças, e o que usa de misericórdia oferece um sacrifício.	4 Thou shalt not appear empty before the Lord.
5 Abster-se do mal é coisa agradável ao Senhor; o fugir da injustiça alcança o perdão dos pecados.	5 For all these things [are to be done] because of the commandment.
6 Não te apresentarás diante do Senhor com as mãos vazias,	6 The offering of the righteous maketh the altar fat, and the sweet savour thereof is before the most High.
7 pois todos (esses ritos) se fazem para obedecer aos preceitos divinos.	7 The sacrifice of a just man is acceptable. and the memorial thereof shall never be forgotten.
8 A oblação do justo enriquece o altar; é um suave odor na presença do Senhor.	8 Give the Lord his honour with a good eye, and diminish not the firstfruits of thine hands.
9 O sacrifício do justo é aceito (por Deus). O Senhor não se esquecerá dele.	9 In all thy gifts shew a cheerful countenance, and dedicate thy tithes with gladness.
10 Dá glória a Deus de bom coração e nada suprimas das primícias (do produto) de tuas mãos.	10 Give unto the most High according as he hath enriched thee; and as thou hast gotten, give with a cheerful eye.
11 Faze todas as tuas oferendas com um rosto alegre, consagra os dízimos com alegria.	11 For the Lord recompenseth, and will give thee seven times as much.
12 Dá ao Altíssimo conforme te foi dado por ele, dá de bom coração de acordo com o que tuas mãos ganharam,	12 Do not think to corrupt with gifts; for such he will not receive: and trust not to unrighteous sacrifices; for the Lord is judge, and with him is no respect of persons.
13 pois o Senhor retribui a dádiva, e recompensar-te-á tudo sete vezes mais.	13 He will not accept any person against a poor man, but will hear the prayer of the oppressed.
14 Não lhe ofereças dádivas perversas, pois ele não as aceitará.	14 He will not despise the supplication of the fatherless; nor the widow, when she poureth out her complaint.
15 Nada esperes de um sacrifício injusto, porque o Senhor é teu juiz, e ele não faz distinção de pessoas.	15 Do not the tears run down the widow's cheeks? and is not her cry against him that causeth them to fall?
16 O Senhor não faz acepção de pessoa em detrimento do pobre, e ouve a oração do ofendido.	16 He that serveth the Lord shall be accepted with favour, and his prayer shall reach unto the clouds.
17 Não despreza a oração do órfão, nem os gemidos da viúva.	17 The prayer of the humble pierceth the clouds: and till it come nigh, he will not be comforted; and will not depart, till the most High shall behold to judge righteously, and execute judgment.
18 As lágrimas da viúva não correm pela sua face, e seu grito não atinge aquele que as faz derramar?	18 For the Lord will not be slack, neither will the Mighty be patient toward them, till he have smitten in sunder the loins of the unmerciful, and repayed vengeance to the heathen; till he have taken away the multitude of the proud, and broken the sceptre of the unrighteous;
19 Pois da sua face sobem até o céu; o Senhor que a ouve, não se compraz em vê-la chorar.	19 Till he have rendered to every man according to his deeds, and to the works of men according to their devices; till he have judged the cause of his people, and made them to rejoice in his mercy.
20 Aquele que adora a Deus na alegria será bem recebido, e sua oração se elevará até as nuvens.	20 Mercy is seasonable in the time of affliction, as clouds of rain in the time of drought.
21 A oração do humilde penetra as nuvens; ele não se consolará, enquanto ela não chegar (a Deus), e não se afastará, enquanto o Altíssimo não puser nela os olhos.	21 []
22 O Senhor não concederá prazo: ele julgará os justos e fará justiça. O fortíssimo não terá paciência com (os opressores), mas esmagar-lhes-á os rins.	22 []
23 Vingar-se-á das nações, até suprimir a multidão dos soberbos, e quebrar os cetros dos iníquos;	23 []
24 até que ele dê aos homens segundo as suas obras, segundo a conduta de Adão, e segundo a sua presunção; 25. até que faça justiça ao seu povo, e dê alegria aos justos por um efeito de sua misericórdia.	24 []

26 A misericórdia divina no tempo da tribulação é bela; é como a nuvem que esparge a chuva na época da seca.	26 []
