1 This is to David, when his land was restored to him. The Lord has reigned, let the earth exult. Let the many islands rejoice.	1 CANTATE al Signore un nuovo cantico; Cantate, o abitanti di tutta la terra, al Signore.
2 Clouds and mist are all around him. Justice and judgment are corrections from his throne.	2 Cantate al Signore, benedite il suo Nome; Predicate di giorno in giorno la sua salute.
3 A fire will precede him, and it will enflame his enemies all around.	3 Raccontate fra le genti la sua gloria, E le sue maraviglie fra tutti i popoli.
4 His lightnings have enlightened the whole world. The earth saw, and it was shaken.	4 Perciocchè il Signore è grande, e degno di sovrana lode; Egli è tremendo sopra tutti gl’iddii.
5 The mountains flowed like wax before the face of the Lord, before the face of the Lord of all the earth.	5 Perciocchè tutti gl’iddii de’ popoli sono idoli; Ma il Signore ha fatti i cieli.
6 The heavens announced his justice, and all peoples saw his glory.	6 Maestà e magnificenza sono davanti a lui; Forza e gloria sono nel suo santuario.
7 May all those who adore graven images be confounded, along with those who glory in their false images. All you his Angels: Adore him.	7 Date al Signore, o generazioni de’ popoli, Date al Signore gloria e forza.
8 Zion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Judah exulted because of your judgments, O Lord.	8 Date al Signore la gloria dovuta al suo Nome; Portategli offerte, e venite ne’ suoi cortili.
9 For you are the Most High Lord over all the earth. You are greatly exalted above all gods.	9 Adorate il Signore nel magnifico santuario; Tremate, o abitanti di tutta la terra, per la sua presenza
10 You who love the Lord: hate evil. The Lord watches over the souls of his holy ones. He will free them from the hand of the sinner.	10 Dite fra le genti: Il Signore regna; Il mondo sarà pure stabilito, e non sarà più smosso; Egli giudicherà i popoli in dirittura.
11 The light has risen for the just, and joy for the upright of heart.	11 Rallegrinsi i cieli, e gioisca la terra; Risuoni il mare, e quello ch’è in esso.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, you just ones, and confess to the memory of his sanctuary.	12 Festeggi la campagna, e tutto quello ch’è in essa. Allora tutti gli alberi delle selve daranno voci d’allegrezza,
	13 Nel cospetto del Signore; perciocchè egli viene, Egli viene per giudicar la terra; Egli giudicherà il mondo in giustizia, Ed i popoli nella sua verità
