Psalms 45

1 Unto the end. To the sons of Korah, for confidants. A Psalm.	1 Del maestro de coro. Según la melodía de «Los lirios». De los hijos de Coré. Poema. Canto de amor.
2 Our God is our refuge and strength, a helper in the tribulations that have greatly overwhelmed us.	2 Me brota del corazón un hermoso poema, yo dedico mis versos al rey: mi lengua es como la pluma de un hábil escribiente.
3 Because of this, we will not be afraid when the earth will be turbulent and the mountains will be transferred into the heart of the sea.	3 Tú eres hermoso, el más hermoso de los hombres; la gracia se derramó sobre tus labios, porque Dios te ha bendecido para siempre.
4 They thundered, and the waters were stirred up among them; the mountains have been disturbed by his strength.	4 Cíñete, guerrero, la espada a la cintura;
5 The frenzy of the river rejoices the city of God. The Most High has sanctified his tabernacle.	5 con gloria y majestad, avanza triunfalmente; cabalga en defensa de la verdad y de los pobres. Tu mano hace justicia y tu derecha, proezas;
6 God is in its midst; it will not be shaken. God will assist it in the early morning.	6 tus flechas con punzantes, se te rinden los pueblos y caen desfallecidos los rivales del rey.
7 The peoples have been disturbed, and the kingdoms have been bowed down. He uttered his voice: the earth has been moved.	7 Tu trono, como el de Dios, permanece para siempre; el cetro de tu realeza es un cetro justiciero:
8 The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our supporter.	8 tú amas la justicia y odias la iniquidad. Por eso el Señor, tu Dios, prefiriéndote a tus iguales, te consagró con el óleo de la alegría:
9 Draw near and behold the works of the Lord: what portents he has set upon the earth,	9 tus vestiduras exhalan perfume de mirra, áloe y acacia. Las arpas te alegran desde los palacios de marfil;
10 carrying away wars even to the end of the earth. He will crush the bow and break the weapons, and he will burn the shield with fire.	10 una hija de reyes está de pie a tu derecha: es la reina, adornada con tus joyas y con oro de Ofir.
11 Be empty, and see that I am God. I will be exalted among the peoples, and I will be exalted upon the earth.	11 ¡Escucha, hija mía, mira y presta atención! Olvida tu pueblo y tu casa paterna,
12 The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our supporter.	12 y el rey se prendará de tu hermosura. El es tu señor: inclínate ante él;
	13 la ciudad de Tiro vendrá con regalos y los grandes del pueblo buscarán tu favor.
	14 Embellecida con corales engarzados en oro
	15 y vestida de brocado, es llevada hasta el rey. Las vírgenes van detrás, sus compañeras la guían,
	16 con gozo y alegría entran al palacio real.
	17 Tus hijos ocuparán el lugar de tus padres, y los pondrás como príncipes por toda la tierra.
	18 Yo haré célebre tu nombre por todas las generaciones; por eso, los pueblos te alabarán eternamente.
