Ezekiel 30

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, prophesy and say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Howl: Disaster day!	2 Profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di: Así habla el Señor: Giman, diciendo: «¡Ay! ¡Qué día!».
3 For the day is near, the day of Yahweh is near; it wil be a day dark with cloud, a time of doom for thenations.	3 Porque se acerca un día, se acerca el día del Señor. Será un día cargado de nubarrones, el tiempo de las naciones.
4 "The sword wil come on Egypt, and anguish on the country of Cush when the slaughtered fal inEgypt, when her riches are carried away and her foundations are destroyed.	4 La espada penetrará en Egipto, Cus se retorcerá de espanto, cuando caigan las víctimas en Egipto, cuando sean arrebatadas sus riquezas y derruidos sus cimientos.
5 Cush, Put and Lud, all Arabia, Cub and the children of the country of the covenant will fal by thesword with them.	5 Cus, Put y Lud, toda esa mezcla de pueblos, y los libios, y los hijos del país de la Alianza, caerán con ellos bajo la espada.
6 "Yahweh says this: "The supports of Egypt wil fall; the pride of her strength wil crumble; they will fal by the sword from Migdol to Syene -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	6 Así habla el Señor: Caerán los que sostienen a Egipto. se derrumbará su arrogante poderío: desde Migdol hasta Siene, todos caerán bajo la espada –oráculo del Señor–.
7 "They will be the most desolate of desolate countries, and its cities the most ruined of cities.	7 Serán los más desolados entre los países desolados y sus ciudades estarán entre las ciudades en ruinas. Y sabrán que yo soy el Señor,
8 And they wil know that I am Yahweh when I set fire to Egypt and al its supports are shattered.	8 cuando prenda fuego a Egipto y sean destrozados todos los que lo apoyan.
9 "That day, I shal send messengers by ship to terrify the carefree Cushites, and anguish wil overtakethem on the day of Egypt -- it is coming now!	9 Aquel día, mensajeros enviados por mí partirán en barco, para dar la alarma en Cus, que vive confiada. Ellos se estremecerán de espanto en el día de Egipto, que ya está por llegar.
10 The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal destroy the huge population of Egypt at the hand ofNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.	10 Así habla el Señor: Yo haré cesar el tumulto de Egipto por la mano de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia,
11 He and his people, the most barbarous of nations, wil be brought to ravage the country. They wildraw the sword against Egypt and fil the country with corpses.	11 El y su pueblo, la más feroz de las naciones, serán llevados para arrasar el país.
12 I shal dry up the courses of the Nile and sel the country to the wicked. I shal lay the whole countrywaste and everything in it, at the hand of foreigners. I, Yahweh, have spoken.	12 Convertiré en tierra seca los canales del Nilo y venderé el país a gente malvada. Devastaré el país y todo lo que hay en él por manos de extranjeros. Yo, el Señor, he hablado.
13 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shall destroy the foul idols and take the false gods away from Noph.Egypt wil be left without a ruler. I shall spread fear through Egypt.	13 Así habla el Señor: Haré desaparecer los ídolos y acabaré con los falsos dioses de Nof. No habrá más un príncipe en Egipto y haré cundir el terror en ese país.
14 I shal lay Pathros waste, set Zoan on fire, inflict my punishments on No.	14 Devastaré a Patrós, incendiaré a Soán e infligiré justos castigos a No.
15 I shal vent my fury on Sin, the bastion of Egypt; I shall wipe out the throngs of No.	15 Derramaré mi furor en Sin –la plaza fuerte de Egipto– y extirparé el tumulto de No.
16 I shal set fire to Egypt; Sin will be seized with convulsions; a breach wil be opened at No and thewaters flood out.	16 Prenderé fuego a Egipto, Sin se retorcerá de dolor, se abrirán brechas en No y los adversarios de No la ocuparán en pleno día.
17 The young men of On and Pi-Beseth wil fal by the sword and the cities themselves go into captivity.	17 Los jóvenes de On y de Pi Béset caerán bajo la espada y esas mismas ciudades irán al cautiverio.
18 At Tahpanhes day will turn to darkness when I shatter the sceptres of Egypt there, when the pride ofher strength ceases. A cloud will cover Egypt itself, and its daughters will go into captivity.	18 En Tafnis el día de oscurecerá, cuando yo quiebre allí el cetro de Egipto y se acabe su arrogante poderío. A ella la cubrirá un nubarrón y sus hijas irán al cautiverio.
19 Such wil be the punishments I inflict on Egypt. And they wil know that I am Yahweh." '	19 Infligiré justos castigos a Egipto, y se sabrá que yo soy el Señor.
20 In the eleventh year, on the seventh day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,	20 En el año undécimo, el día siete del primer mes, la palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
21 'Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; you can see that no one has dressedhis wound by applying remedies to it, by bandaging it and by dressing it, to make it strong enough to wield thesword.	21 Hijo de hombre, yo quiebro el brazo del Faraón, rey de Egipto; y nadie lo cura dándole medicamentos y aplicándole un vendaje, para que se fortalezca y pueda empuñar la espada.
22 This being so, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Look, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt; I shal breakhis arms, the sound one and the broken one, and make the sword drop from his hand.	22 Por eso, así habla el Señor: Aquí estoy contra el Faraón, rey de Egipto: yo quebraré sus dos brazos –el sano y el roto– y haré caer la espada de su mano.
23 I shal scatter Egypt among the nations and disperse it among the countries.	23 Dispersaré a los egipcios entre las naciones y los diseminaré entre los países.
24 I shal strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand. I shal breakPharaoh's arms and, confronted with his enemy, he wil groan like a dying man.	24 Pero fortaleceré los brazos del rey de Babilonia y pondré mi espada en su mano; y quebraré los brazos del Faraón, que lanzará gemidos delante de él como un herido de muerte.
25 I shal strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh wil fall. And they wilknow that I am Yahweh, when I put my sword into the hands of the king of Babylon and he wields it againstEgypt.	25 Fortaleceré los brazos del rey de babilonia, mientras que al Faraón se le caerán los brazos. Y cuando ponga mi espada en la mano del rey de Babilonia y él la extienda contra el país de Egipto, se sabrá que yo soy el Señor.
26 I shal scatter Egypt among the nations and disperse it among the countries; and they wil know that Iam Yahweh." '	26 Dispersaré a los egipcios entre las naciones y los diseminaré por los países. Entonces se sabrá que yo soy el Señor.
